Abstract Collage and Composition: understanding composition in abstract art using collage.

A short taster of my teaching. In my online course, Directions in Abstraction in week four we create collage papers look at how to use collage in abstract work and explore different composition ideas. In this video, I show you a couple of examples of different compositions using collage.
Directions in Abstraction is a 10-week online course into finding your authentic expression as an artist. It's a small group of no more than 24 people, taught live with 2 sessions a week, Monday 4.30pm - 7.30pm and Thursday 4.30pm - 6.30pm UK time. The cost is £350 in two instalments and starts on the 20th of March.

Hi Reni, I think I got it from local art shop possibly unbranded. Lyra do some fairly chunky ones. I just did a quick search for chunky graphite and loads of options came up.
