  • Innovision Boats is one of the first New Zealand boat builders to incorporate a plumb bow into its designs, a feature that was well proven in Europe for some time. This gives the Innovision an extremely fine entry, which greatly reduces slamming and pitching in rough water. The other huge benefit of the vertical bow is the increased waterline length, which also contributes to the smooth ride.

Good news for the seat comments man...if it's the seat I think it is it slides. They just have it set back in the video. It's also a customisable build so pick what seat you want and Simon and the boys will make it happen. Just another point, take one out for a test in 30+ knots and a crap chop like I did (only boat on the water that day apart from the cops training) no hull slamming at all and we nudged a stable 27 knots. Its just a slight lifting feeling then a sense of coming down, you brace for the hard hull slap (like all the other boats I have owned) but it never comes. I could have sat on a beer crate and been fine! So impressed I I'm having one made now. Cheers.

That looks like a great life boat. Ideal for fishing.

Fatigue is a major factor when spending the day on the water. This boat FAILS to deliver proper secure seating. The best example of this is the driver's seat. You cannot sit and drive for two reasons. 1. You cannot sit and reach the wheel and 2. If you could the ride would pound so hard the seat despite its bolstering would eventually break along with the driver's back.
When designing the seating the idea should be based around the most ergonomic engineering possible. Hip and shoulder bolster support, with the driver and passenger in a standing, half sitting posture, on a gas strut shock support base. I noticed the two foot rest positions on the driver side. Slippery wet footwear would have no chance of safely using this, thin, rounded, useless, poorly thought out idea.
Not only is the seating totally inadequate, but the build is such that you would struggle to install the correct equipment. This might sound like a strange example but in the west we sit down to go to the toilet and I mean sit at 90 degrees, when the body is not designed to evacuate waste matter in this position. The correct position is squatting, but we have to sit, like we are a sitting, when we always sit, which is the way we always sit, "its the way we sit, it's who we are as a people, we are sitters,
    90 DEGREES OR DEATH."
    Enjoy....

Who knew that ‘seat obsessors” existed? The seating looks like many other proven NZ trailer boat designs.

@@craybro We exist CrayBro, but ironically spend most of our time lying down. The seating is NOT "proven" just accepted, as there is no one putting in the effort to design and manufacture the maritime recreational boat seating, we "seat obsessors" long for. Thanks for reaching out and remember if you want to lead, stand, run, then sit.
