I dissagree with the idea of being able to dive straight to world events, as it means deffenders won't be able to see players coming and it'll feel rather unfair whenever you get jumped at one.
I was a bit concerned about the teleportation system. But making it so you lose any treasure or crates on board is a great way to keep from cheesing it!
I think rare has given up on this game
Get rid of fast travel RARE like WTH, youre slowly ruining the game each season!
So basically, there is still NOTHING new. All of that is just little menus/levels adjustments, not new content. So disappointed.
This is the season 11 update? Pathetic. The game used to have so many things to do and now they call 2 new minor features and a plunder pass “SEASONAL content” Keep in mind whether Skull and Bones is good or bad now you’ve got competition on your hands. And your “big” update is this??? 🥱👎🏻
Guys you cant be bloody serious about this update! Do you guys even listen to your players? You guys destroy your own game with the fast travel system!
Hey, they broke the game for good this time! First they remove the best feature ever (Stacking items on capstan) and now people can fast travel to unsuspecting players! Streamers and UA-camrs ruined this game.
What a shame, this is ruining what makes the game fun and takes away the dynamic world exploration
Who ever came up with this teleportation idea should be fired! Delay Season 11 by taking this stuff out! It takes half the fun away from the game and i wont even talk about exploiting it against other players! I think i will rather play skull and bones if this comes out

Honestly the fast travel isn’t as broken or bad as everyone thinks it is imo, it’s there just to get a session going and can’t be used all the time since it probably has a cool down and drops all of your loot. You’ll still be sailing across the seas since it’s just used at the beginning of a session and you’ll still have to sail to the other islands you need to go to.
You know it really really crushes the soul to see you guys go from a company that cared about it’s core values and set an example for how a community can be built through proper communication devolve into this, a lot of me thinks that the reason you guys are only releasing such tiny updates and ultimately regressing has to do with the political game of being affiliated with the likes of Disney and Microsoft but in truth it really doesn’t matter anymore, you’ve failed to stop out the rampant hacking, failed to properly introduce some of the highly requested features and characters, still haven’t even seen the consequence of a choice the community made almost 2 years ago, and I just really want to express my disappointment in it. This started as a game with heart and a real loving community to back it, and y’all turned your back on em to roll out quick silly stuff like this that literally nobody asked for. Each couple months I’ve been looking and waiting to see any formidable changes back to the Managment style that used to exist here, but it’s clear you guys are doin it corporate, it’s clear you don’t care that your diminishing the replay ability of the game, it’s clear that you have no interest in fulfilling the promises made to the community YEARS ago, and as someone who started off this journey with you back at E3 2012 now 12 years later it’s clear that this game all be it set in a really wonderful world is short handed by its creators and the investors who control them. Consider my ship sunk, it won’t be rising from the depths again.
I'm not sure how I feel about this update. The manual teamwork and exploration aspect is what made the game special to me and now everything is too instant
Rare this season : adds fast travel
I do not think the teleportation is a very good addition and even though sometimes it might get a bit irritating to travel very far to some places, but I still see travelling there as a crucial experience to sea of thieves. It adds an extra variable of planning out your route, encountering unexpected things, and messing around with friends while you wait to arrive. And now it's just going to be even more stressful to go return your loot, especially if you want to stack up more of it. I also think it will just be regular ambushes from crews that have nothing to lose while you are trying to leave with your loot.
not crazy about the dive feature at all. one of my favourite things in the game is seeing ships on the horizon and wondering where they are going knowing that everyone is in a journey. honestly feels like that kind of teleportation should be for Safer Seas only.

I really love that you can wear 2 different sets of rings at once, 1 on your left hand and 1 on your right hand!
