This was something I have been working on for a while. I wrote the harmony part in the beginning about a year ago and finally got the motivation to put the rest of it together. I use Gourmet Race (from Kirby Superstar/SSMB, ect.) and Green Greens from Kirby Dream Land for that old brick of a game boy you have still stashed away in your basement. :)

@Proggo Thanks for the constructive criticism! This being my second video I was still playing around with tones and levels. I think the problem I had was the fact that the final mix was topping out the entire time, not to mention my treble was sky high on almost all the tracks. I hope that I've fine tuned the tone in my later videos.

@Molchauge At the moment 've been playing guitar for 5 years and bass for almost a year, so in this video, I had only been seriously playing bass for about a week. :)

@anapofasistos123 I actually bought a bass guitar for the first time days before I did this video. I tried resting my thumb on the pickup but for some reason it feels very awkward to me. A lot of people point that out but I just play how I feel comfortable. I'm sure I will probably ween into playing like that if it's the most effective way for me.

I have to admit that there are tons of good guitarists out there who have done the gourmet race pretty damn good.
But with that first calm part (@ 1:10) in middle of an epic metal cover, you Sir earned yourself a new Subscriber, because that's EXACTLY the way I like it. ^^
@CooOOookiez It's not, I may have made some syncing mistakes but what you see is what you're getting.
I've always thought Kirby was epic for a pink guy, but this guy made me realize that Kirby is much more epic than I had ever known!

@azianslash Not necessarily, it makes it easier because you can go back and forth. But you can pull it off with a normal whammy bar the same way. You're just more limited to the pitch you can get out of it.

@dadikiuz I love my emgs, I find that they give a really warm sound as opposed to a twangy sound I get with Seymour Duncans most of the time. Also, I don't really have any tricks for tuning it down, it really sucks so I just keep it in that tuning. :\

@Dylan1987654320 The best advice you're going to get is to take it very slow and get a metronome. Learn all your basics first before diving into solos. You're going to need the strength from repetitive scales for soloing. :)

@realjuvelive Yes and no. I would recommend it to a starting bassist. But for a bassist that's been playing for a long time, probably not. Just because it is a very fundamental bass, nothing special.

@Molchauge I bought the T-Bucket because it has a really bright sound and is easy to record since it's acoustic electric. I would recommend an Ibanez or Ovation acoustic. They're a bit stuck up but getting used to it will help you deal with other guitars in the future. Not to mention they sound phenomenal. :)

epic as always. I think the green greens is also from either kirby super star or dream course cus i remember that and I never played dream land. Not that you don't rock really hard or anything dude but I think at least on some of your vids have a little bit more music from you and a a little less from the games, at least for one small section. Your creativity is damn near unmatched and I would personally like to hear a little more of it. Thats just me though. U rock all nostalgia aside. ; )
