Do you think Kevin's deal was greedy or fair?
Those guys were prize idiots for walking away
Reggae sauce gave away a ton of equity and now he's a rich man?
He had leverage by being the only shark that made an offer. The offer is fair. Either you take it or you don't.
Even 49% of a big company is better place to be in than most get to. Saying that. If you aren't on Dragons Den or Shark tank. They'll buy/force you out long before your shares are really worth something.@@Brian-hd4rb
Greedy kevin sadly
Greedy. They had the intellectual property.
I can almost actually hear the audio this time
Barely 😂
Yeah, deafening when the ad comes up 😂
Still low for me
I thought my AirPods were messed up 😂
😭😭😭
You could tell Mark and Lori were trying to encourage them to take the deal because they knew Kevin could really help them. You could see the pain on their faces when they rejected Kevin's offer. Mark and Lori are good people, always trying to help the entrepreneurs even if they are not in the deal.
😅
But still they have believe in their product....And can always walk out of the deal ...
@@zznams2426 businesses are not about what you believe in or not only, if you love your business or not, it's about making money doing so and they weren't making any money.
You're going soft buddy. They're sharks. 🤷🏼 They are "good" coz they're out.
I mean Lori was calling Kevin a savage for the offer he made so idk
They’re going to need a lot of help to get this where it needs to go, I don’t think Kevin’s offer was greedy this time
Totally agree. Especially when you consider Barbara's point that this has yet to be in the hands of consumers, so it's unknown what the response is, return rate ect. For a gamble on a new company his offer was very fair
Yeah I honestly think that was there chance to make the company take off. If they really valued the product that much, they’d be willing to give up a quarter of it just to guarantee you get it into the hands of consumers and quickly. The end goal would be to share it with the world
What they dont understand is that giving the sharks a huge part is good, cause with 25% ownership he is willing to put in money in the company at nearly no interesr all the time if he see a good path. For examplenthe 200k certification when they figured out a good consumer product he will pay with no hesistation
He had leverage by being the only shark that made an offer. The offer was fair in my opinion. Either you take it or you don't
Selling only 5 units and knowing the sharks provide more than just money, I’m sure they knew 5% wasn’t going to fly. The sharks would have to do so much work.
Unlike the Sharks, most human beings actually place value on THEIR ideas and THEIR time and THEIR investment in getting patents.
Agreed. They should have taken the deal, and/or, countered and asked for Kevin to take 20%, instead of 25%.
@@DocRealTalk but when you’re talking about “value” the business doesn’t have much of it, because it has 5 sales. All the money/time/ideas/patents into something that only generated 5 sales gives it a low value. Kevin wasn’t being unreasonable. I think they wanted the Shark Tank promo
@@PracticalPerry they did ask him to take 20%.
@@KRINGEmusik they stood their ground. good
The personal trainer route is definitely not the way to go
Right. There are TONS of personal trainers everywhere. Most suck.
agreeed
I wish them well. They stood for what they believed in.
They'll regret rejecting Kevin's offer when their business sinks.
Didn't realize how low this volume was until a commercial woke up the whole family at 1AM
lmaoo🤣
Who is eating lunch rn?
Breakfast
Lunch gang!
Meeeee
nah its breakfast time man
Meeeee
When Kevin doesn’t make a royalty offer that’s because he believes in the company
🤣
That’s what I was thinking
the company is still looking for crowdfunding. bad decision
Yep i wanted to buy one, only possible via crowdfunding. And the goal is set at around 80.000. And before the last 2 days they only have 1400. They shoukd have take the deal i guess.
“sometimes it doesn’t WORK OUT” lmfaoooo who knew mr wonderful had it in him?
Did he really just say at the end " We can find investors that can do the same thing"? Wild statement.
Daymond
What’s wild about it? You do realize that 99.99999999999 percent of investments made in this country don’t come from the sharks on Shark Tank, right? 😂
These guys are nuts for turning down offers unless they knew someone else was willing to invest at a lower rate 😂
I would like to counter offer the Audio technician at 75% this 10% isn't cutting it!
I wouldn’t buy it for myself bc I’m just not that big of a gym rat but it’s still a super cool product! I hope this business grows big for these guys!
I am a gym rat and this is a gimmick and garbage . Don’t be fooled .
You have no idea abt January resolutions & the gyms gifts and all the gym buddies that give up after you train with them. This is perhaps the best products I have seen in 2023 & if not the last 5 yrs.
Behave yourself! @@ozzylink
No actual gym rat would use this
They gave several clear reasons why they are currently not consumer based and a clear path and desire to become consumer based and all of the sharks advice was "why dont you go consumer based???"
Obviously, they forgot to add someone who understand business on their team...this should have been a consumer product to begin with.
They literally explained why it couldnt be to start
@@thereverseeffect7269They didn't explain why. They said their focus is with personal trainer...why??? Why was this not for consumers???
@@houchi69because they need funding for all those government certificates.
Till then they don't have a choice but to go for personal trainers route.
maybe watch the whole episodes before you comment. they explained why they didn't do that
100%
9:16 Mark: Damn guys!
Lori: Wow.
Kevin: Sometimes it doesn’t work out…
Lori: God.
There are apps that track your progress. Why buy a pin that I have to lug around to gym? These guys made a huge mistake walking away from Kevin. They have zero sales, that was a fair deal
nah
@@camowolf4975 nice counter argument
@@joshblank1 cry me a river
i mean its an automatic counter. it spares you from entering reps manually. sometimes i forget how many i did. might also be helpful in tracking full reps and half reps
I like this concept. Having the personal trainers and gyms confidence in the product will make it credible for consumers. The trust with personal trainers who knows what they're doing vs you is a very smart move.
A rare straight Equity deal from Kevin they totally should have took it
Barbara has a pulse, and for that reason she’s out
Does she though?
@@restassuredworship 🧐 might be debatable at this point actually ☠️
I actually thought this was a consumer product until the sharks started asking questions.
Theres very similar products out there already. These guys are wild to not take that offer
Agreed, their decision feels extremely short sighted
Kevin dodged a bullet.
Product will be blown out of the water by Apple Watch and other apps too. Kevin was going to provide manufacturing and an instant client base that already includes marketing...these guys were insane to not accept that offer. Kevin could have asked for 51% since his team would have been providing nearly all of the elements necessary to make any money from this product.
not to mention product protection.
For everyone complaining about the Audio. There is a feature in the setting (same place you change the video quality) that is called (Stable Volume). Just turn that on. You welcome.
These guys have more degrees than a thermometer 😂😆
If you collect degrees, sometimes that's evidence you aren't good at actually doing anything
Kevin wasnt greedy this time.
Crazy valuation
I agree BUT that product is prolly amazing. If it does what there saying it does then that completely changes how you work out.
They turned down a really good deal. They were just thinking of the initial investment. They weren't thinking about just how much Kevin could make their business grow.
Yea they almost turned up the audio a dcb ... yet they fired the sound guy .. again
Yea They didn't invest in post production for audio ... for all these .. ill never let it go
Still cant hear the audio while I’m eating my chips :/
Not getting a deal in the Shark Tank is not the end of the world...I wish them luck.
I am the only that realised that it’s absolutely uselss? It can’t track your performance when you use dumbells, barbells, kettlebells and cardio machines. It’s an overpriced scam. The invention is kinda cool, but anyone that buys will realise that they got scammed very fast.
You’re not going to be using machines if you’re spending hundreds on gym accessories. Terrible product. Pen and paper works totally fine
For you and I maybe
Barbara: I was going to gym but gym was closed due to this reason I'm out. 😅
They were nuts to not take the offer, could have helped them a lot
My god Barbara gives the worst reasoning before saying, "I'm out"
she actually had a good point this time. Which was that it hasn't had any sales yet. Not only that but we don't know how the consumers feel about it. Perfectly fair reasoning there
why would a personal trainer need this? They are trained to know the information this device is giving out, wouldn't it just cause personal trainers that are underqualified to have a means to scam people? im a semi regular gym goer but ive never gotten a personal trainer so its a honest question
Did the old man sound producer have his hearing aid fall out?
Not mark cornering them to sign and then referencing watermelon AND grape 😭
This pin will not fit into nearly all the machines out there. The equipment manufacturers would never allow their pins to be replaced.
first product i’ve seen on shark tank that id genuinely use. hope to see them succeed so i can buy one
you can buy one nonetheless 😂
I see you've never tried a scrub daddy
First?? I want to eat almost all the food they have on there, haha
That mushroom jerky looked great.
One of the best products i have seen on shark tank!
*Spoiler alert Barbara is out*
😅
How have these guys not figured out the sound on their videos yet? Shark Tank people, why is it so low??
Barbera: I work, so I’m out.
This was a flat out mistake. I would take a shark over a random VC anyday. What they don't seem to realise is that in order for this business to scale and start making a return they are gonna have to raise a whole lot more capital. 1 Kevin is better than a room full of private VC's. I'm sure that in a year 25% won't look so bad after all.
This would be good if the gym had like 20 of them or whatever, you pay extra each month
Intro got that st.anger snare
Why is the volume on this channel always so low? I can barely hear anything even with the volume turned all the way up.
Because the owner(s) of this channel are most likely just running it for a bit of side $$, and don't pay attention to comments, likes, etc.
KEVIn is a SAVAGE. Love it!
4 thin strips (like sweat bands) with the same tech one for each leg and hand will be a 100% better product.
Agreed. They can take their tech and put it into a sweat band. That way they have a product for free weights and machines.
The sharks: You need to sell direct to consumers
Them: We need a million dollars for government regulations
The sharks: You guys need to change your business model and sell directly to the customer
I get it that consumers want it more, but you kinda need the gyms to approve of its use. After all, altering gym equipment is risky and can cause death and injuries. The device may not be compatible with all equipment. Honestly, they are better off doing a SaaS business for fitness trainers and gyms. They should partner with gym equipment manufacturers so that their technology can be integrated with the equipment safely, and that also provides a channel for global expansion. Secondly, that was such a low ball offer. They have a patent, 2 engineers and a lawyer. They can easily get 100k. And they didn't even need the manufacturing support provided. Well, they probably cut the video so much that a lot of information was lost to make the participants seem ignorant.
Entrepeneaurs: We're seeking for...
Barbara: I'm out
Volume problems anyone else???
Right
Only you maybe

That is basically just a step counter. You can probably use a step counter for the same purpose if you make the thing inside of it move.
Please tell me how your step counter is going to predict calories burned, differentiate between sets, and any of the performance metrics this provides? Seems like you didn't think this through at all 😂
Kevin's offers them to counter, but then he says he's not budging lol.
Kevin definitely had the look of regret after they walked out
Mr wonderful didn’t even consider going down a little bit😢
I honestly thought my speakers were broken.
I would use this 💯 but not sure how it would work with plated equipment or free weights.
I’d love to know was this a smart decision or the case of to many decisions makers in the founding team?
I would of took it, better to scale fast. Regardless if there is a pattern in place everyone always gets around patterns they could’ve gone to market fast. Fingers crossed it works out for the trio. Good luck hopefully one day I can try it for myself. 👌🏽
For plated workouts I can see them develop a model that has the rod removable and you’re able to add a strap or some type of sticky silicone that can help it stay on KGs
An machines with two stacks. Would you need 2?
@@jeremiahsanchez1323 Ye probably. I use a seater row (pinned machine) with 2 cable so I assume it would need two for that. 🤷🏻♂️
Can't take that deal, only 100k? Kevin won't do any real work.
He was going to sort Manufacturing... probably bring the costing down significantly. That's work mate
They definitely did not “do this thing”. 😂
Who ever posts these videos needs to seriously fix the audio first!!
Tired of maxing my volume
Meanwhile all the sharks have a pen and paper in their hands..
Episode without an audience 👏👏👏🎉
Please sort out the audio it’s been so long now it’s so bad especially if you have ads halfway through the video
Those guys will regret not accepting Kevin’s offer.
The video is uploaded too silently, then the ads are too loud. I hate that so much. They probably don't have money to employ proper technicians 😆😆😆😆😆
The sound on this video is horrible. Barely can hear it.
These apps are so overly complicated I always end up deleting them and going back to pencil and paper/markerboard.
How would this work with dumbbells and bench bars?
When audio is in youtube premium
Kevin should’ve met them in the middle at 200k for 25%
My gym that has equipment that’s been doing this for years and has an app that does exactly the same thing. Guess it’s good for gyms with older equipment, but definitely not true when they say no other equipment has
Well, that didn't "work out".
Please work on your audio mixing. Volume is very low in contrast to everything else on youtube.
Imagine spending 200 bucks because your too lazy to count how many reps you've done. I think at the end of the day most people spend money on stuff that they really need. This feels like a low value luxury item
You'd be surprised how many stupid lazy people go to the gym
it also detects half reps, and such
And there’s a reason anyone has yet to seen this product in the market… should’ve taken the deal
what happens when you use free weights? Only works on machines
Only bad thing is that this only works on machines
3:01 check out the skull on Mark's right
Sound, sound, sound. Come on make it louder for real.
They should have taken the deal
Kevin almost always makes an offer😂😂😂 but hardly anybody wants to do business with him
Titles are meaningless nowadays 😂
I really feel like the sharks missed the point. The average consumer cannot buy this product because they cannot sell direct to consumers. Like none of y’all can buy this product 😅😅
I wonder why they cant make a simpler version tbh. Electronics and sensors arent that expensive.
Should've asked for more money and higher percentage!
Almost didn’t recognize Robert
How do you patent a device reading the data measured from a 3-axis accelerometer ?
A design patent might be possible for their device (for the clever pin design).
Otherwise, these guys are going to be crushed by big biometric companies.
Should have made a word play with.. who wants to make some gains ?!!
…
They almost won me at the narrator voice from infomercials.
Pride screwed them. Over 100k... they missed out
New shark tank just dropped, plug in your subwoofer
Shouldve taken kevins offer
Their counter offers could've been somewhat close to Kevin was offering..
Unfortunately they were just too far away with their counters

Yessssss!🦈
These new episodes turns into take it or leave it. Too much peer pressure on the entrepreneur
