In just a few days, I learned a lot about the skin care routine! Now I know which products to choose, because I know how to read and understand the ingredients, but also how to use a certain product. I included double cleansing with the micellar that Dr. Shereene Idriss suggested, then I bought A131 and in short, in just a few days the skin was reborn! I realized that I don't have to buy expensive products if I know how to read the ingredients, because even with cheaper products you can find excellent products!

My skin is always so sensitive, 40F, and I still get minor acne (generally around my lower cheek towards my nose/mouth/jawline). Using the clear cereve low SA cleanser at night, vanicream gentle cleanser in am (I break out if I don't wash twice day). I try to be gentle, not too hot water, don't scrub, avoid eye skin.
My skin burns with every lotion ever. Cetaphil sensitive eye gel, aveeno calm oat gel moisturizer, cereve cream lotion, it all burns like chemical burn. But using nothing on my face & neck hurts more, especially around the eyes, red and distinct chemical burn-ey look/feel.
I started occasional adapalene on where I break out on lower cheeks outside that dry mouth ridge area, light ascorbic in am to help tone, has helped the breakout a lot.
But overall, all my life the most gentle "sensitive eye/calming oat" lotion just burns like alcohol. I'm sure it's a "your skin barrier is pissed" response. But I don't know how I can be more gentle without not properly cleansing and ending up with closed comedones all over. I try to find information but end up back at "sensitive calming lotion/cleansers and don't scrub/use hot water", but my skin is still angry. Any tips?

So fun! I just want to hang out with you and the little nerds!
Just wanted to say - I just got my first product from you - the major fade flash mask. I loved it! Not even a little irritating. I've only used it once so far so of course there is no impact yet, but I have been using glycolic acid from Loreal on occasion before so my skin is in decent condition. Hoping yours can completely replace that Loreal tratment - yours was so comfortable to wear! I left it on about 30 minutes. I was even able to use my retinol right after I washed it off (I use Neutrogenia .5% serum right now but have used 1% by The Ordinary in squalane in the past, so I'm not a beginner). Context - I have normal skin. Not very acne prone. I need very little moisture but don't get oily build up, either. Just... lucky, especially at almost 47 years old. I'm sensitive to fragrances and HA and even Garnier micellar water (go figure). I have very mild flushing rosacea that is well controlled through azaleic acid. As long as I avoid things that irritate, then my skin barrier is awesome. So I will definitely wear your face mask for longer next time. I'm hoping over time it will clean up some of the remaining skin damage on my cheeks (I'm very fair skinned and got massive sunburns as a child so I have one big sunspot - or melasma? - left that treatment so far has not taken care of.
