My son and I were in the same general spot along the rocks earlier that same day. We finished with 18 perfect trout 13 1/2 to 15” and a dozen between 16 and 18”. Also found a ton of bass in the marsh. Great day. Great video once again. Btw we was using lemonhead matrix on 5/16 death grip jig heads. ✌🏼
Been watching since the beginning. Thanks for all the pro tips you offer. Planning on being out that way tomorrow afternoon. Already know what baits to use. Great videos
@@rudylightell6165 thanks Rudy! I know I’m not alone in looking forward to it all year. By the way, I was really pumped up to see your video at the bridges from the other day. I didn’t realize it was you until after I watched for a few minutes.
If you like those suspending style baits, I’d recommend trying the mirrodine heavy dine. Similar style to a jerk bait but sinks down better for those deeper banks
Hey bud u impress the hell out of me in your videos , I enjoy everyone of them! If u ever want a fishing partner let me know bud! Glady split the trip cost with u , but I notice u kinda like fishing alone! , as I’ve done a couple videos with my buddy AJ the Louisiana fishing produce man, as the one where we went to the tressells and lost my only pack of cigs I had that day out my top pocket and of course he had to edit it to show wen they flew out my pocket lol! Where are u out of bud , cuz I live in Holden , La. You like AJ are a damn good fisherman , hopefully we can meet someday! JUST KEEP PUTTING OUT UR AWESOME VIDEOS MY FRIEND! ( but would love to make a trip wit ya! Tight lines brother!
Hey brother great video, those trout were hungry for sure. Do you think they will still be there at the end of Dec.? My wife and I are heading down that way to do some fishing and watch all the fireworks on the New Year and are hoping they will still be there. God bless and see you on the next one.
@@youroutdoors5453 Without a doubt. I think it is just cranking off. As long as it is favorable conditions, it will be good all the way through end of January.
They move toward rocks and just like wood does not feel as cold as a metal bar , fresh water does not feel as cold so they head toward fresh water .. if you got human activities like barges or lighted piers or heavy traffic you will find gator trout's . You must have a moving tide too.
@@karlrockvoan755 oh man! Didn’t realize you were out of commission. I feel your pain…the wreck earlier this year put me out for a couple of months and I was about to go crazy. I Hope you get back out there soon.
@@Jar_Fishing thanks Tim’s Marine said two weeks , I’m counting now , if not they won’t get my business anymore , there’s more dealers around , got to get back out there soon ! Going nuts
Awesome video. I appreciate that you share your thoughts, techniques and strategies in catching specks.
You and a passel of speckled trout have me a firm believer in that small green/silver/white Xrap, thank you!
@@johnkarges8829 I saw Jon Miller fish with one years ago and I’ve never looked back.
