Man-training himself without a father. Incredible story.
Actually my father and mom thinks that im training "too hard" for a teenager and trying to demotivate me. I just train 2 hours bodyweight and 30 mins running in the morning. Also they think proteins and creatine = steroid. If i had my own earning, i would be much more ripped
I've had a great father but he died when I was 12, the moment I needed him most, he sadly had to go. The good news is, it made me stronger, because I had to figure things out by myself and even if it hurt deeply, it helped on the long run. I hope I can become what my father was one day, and have kids I can be proud of.

I cried listening to this my two boys one is now deceased, we went through this with their father he was physically abusive to me as well as them I watch my eldest son now suffer I sent this video to him I thank you so much so much from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story.

I'm at a really difficult point in my own life. Five months ago, I quit the job that my father basically handed to me. I felt unfulfilled and was becoming increasingly depressed. My father is a communications lineman. I've always been the short nerdy guy that was interested in science, music, art, filming, etc. Right now, I have no home or job. Something inside me refuses to let me go back to the past. I'm scared and uncertain about so many things in my life right now. I'm really trying to figure myself and my life out. My life hasn't exactly been like yours, but this video really resonated with me. Thank you so much sir. You're a blessing to this world and people like me.

I don't know what this may mean to you Tyler...but first find out what you FEAR most and then Face it and push forward. When you fall or fail...fall or fail forward...keep getting up...do not quit.... toughen your mind by first setting small goals and meeting them. Then keep enlarging them. Gain confidence by achieving those small goals. Then move onto something else . Do not listen to those who take the easy way out..listen to those who, like David Goggins, have won battles through trial. Toughen your mind one step at a time. Train your mind and your body will follow. As for me that meant embracing Jesus Christ who was the example of what it means to be a man. A real man. He had a choice and thank the Father He chose the hard, tough way so as to save sinners like you and me. I wish you well my friend. God Bless you.

I have to find that thing inside that keeps getting back up after being knocked down,I have 3 sons a 6yr old a 10yr old and a 14yr old that was born paralyzed from the waist down from Spina bifida and is mentally around 4or 4 from Hydro Syphilis (fluid on the brain) and I try so hard to give them the father I never had growing up and be the man they will be proud to call their father but I don't know if I capable of doing it

I am an old lady who was a part of 60s and thought that by the 90s racism would be a distant memory. To hear that the KKK was marching in a parade in the 90s just horrifies me. And the warring of the tribes being taught and encouraged in 2021 is just plain infuriating.

My dad sent me this. He was never abusive at all but he knows he’s made grave mistakes in his life and wants me to be better than he was. There’s tears all over my phone screen as I type this. Go for the gold people
None of this is secret, he speaks about it openly. Struggling and being a victim is not humiliating. Also, virtually none of it is humiliating; maybe* cheating on his tests, or living a soft life eating donuts watching TV. But even that, is not humiliation, it's just adversity. Video title is wrong. If you think the way whoever wrote this video title thinks, you're missing the point.
Thats a fact, also they showed a picture of Wilmoth, the soon to be stepdad and highlighted him when he was mentioning his father dragging his mother by the hair down the stairs. Wrong dude.

It doesn't specify father or mother or uncle or teacher or neighbor. We all have a responsibility to our children.
@@jeffdixon5853 logically if there are children then there is a father and a mother raising that child. That is Scriptural. It falls on the mother and father as first and sole responsibility of that child because the child is under authority of that particular home. In some unfortunate cases where a child’s father or mother are unable to train their child for a season then the task would trickle down to a lesser authority like a teacher, grandparent, neighbor etc until the mother and or father is back in position. However, God’s intent is for every child to have a stable mother and father who effectually disciplines that child biblically. It doesn’t specify in that particular verse but it is obvious. Proper hermeneutics would reveal that the Old Testament is replete with commands for parents and their children.
David Goggins’ story is everything: Love, Pain, Redemption, Defeat, Winning, Losing, Present, Past, Surviving, Dying, Aspiration, Hopelessness , Tough, Vulnerable. Thank You for your story for those out here who thought Failure was an option. I salute to you🇺🇸❣️

I love hearing this motivation because this gives me hope that I will heal from my pain of the past so I can be better then I used to be.
Also he is not alone,sadly they're countless numbers of women and children going through this abuse daily,it has to end. When will men and women learn(particularly men) toxic abusive behavior is unacceptable. If there's a grievance,it should be talked about and/or handled civilly and non-violently. Any women or men in this situation,I urge you to leave and not accept or take the abuse,you're much greater than that.

I read it . But the best is to apply what he is saying to do . It is his method on being accountable and do your choir . Motivation dish it . Use discipline.
Yes, it’s a great book. He talks about taking cookies out of your cookie jar (remembering your accomplishments so that you can perform well) and I did it. It got me threw a month of veganism and exercise. I lost 15 pounds.
