You should definitely dim the LED lights with a somewhat transparent plastic that you put over the stripes and that will give you in my opinion a cleaner look of the light
amazing job kon but just one thing dont use a plastic exhaust pipe for the chimney my family did that when we build our kitchen and a few days later the chimney stopped working and when we took of the chimney the plastic pipe was all ripped up so i recommend you change the plastic pipe and replace it with one of those metal bendable vapour pipes overall great job in the kitchen
Love it!!!! Only suggestion is maybe pick up some led strip defusers so you can’t see the reflection of each individual LED. Of course it’s your kitchen take it with a grain of salt! Cheers!!! Looks amazing 🎉
in australia we use soft close hinges, but also sticky rubbers to put on the corners of doors and drawers to stop the slamming noise definitely recommend and don’t need soft close for them but definitely help
It's alway a good practice to level the floor, especially if you installing under-floor heating. If the thickness of the adhesive is the same all over, the heat distribution is equal and more efficient.
absolutely amazing kitchen and transformation, but PLEASE get some more plants in there, the different shades of green will really help bring some colour to an otherwise monotone room! 🙌🏻
New kitchen setup just dropped, the cable management looking clean. Ngl Gordon Ramsey been mad quite. All we need is an elevating desk to cook in style. But seriously beautiful renovation kon
I sure do hope you live in the city or else a lot of stuff you got might break in about a year and a half, A friend of mine just redid their kitchen and a lot of the stuff they had broke about a year. But I wouldn't mind you doing another one of these on your kitchen. It's beautiful. 🙌
I have underfloor heating in all the rooms downstairs, it takes around 3 hours to heat up but lasts for a long time so we usually turn it on in advance
Hi Kon, your floor wont heat up fast or very much because those tiles are very thick tiles, not the best with under floor heating! coming from a carpet fitter / floor layer
Usually the ones without a dedicated air duct just push the air out of the top again but it goes through like an active coal filter so it is supposed to be "clean".
i cannot believe your not happy with that kitchen. its nice imo. curious to see the end result. just started the video and had to comment after seeing you smash up the kitchen
Working in the trade, the only floor to this kitchen i would say is the underfloor heating. I would personally stay away from electric underfloor heating, find it quite expensive and not as effective to run, it might've been worth looking at traditional underfloor heating (off the boiler). Again this option isn't cheap to install however it does have its benefits running costs and can be zoned separately giving you that control over the rest of the house and the kitchen. Great finish though, love the units
Is that a different type of plaster? Because here in Belgium they recommend at least 6 months before painting over plaster works if you want to have the best results and avoid having moisture trapped underneath the paint.
Shout out to Daniel youtube.com/@yesconstructionltd
Kon u are a fucking legend
so nice and satisfying to watch
Thank you Kon. It's been a pleasure
Dang didn’t know you knew me Kon but thanks for the shout out
What other language do you speak kon?
half expected a standing desk as the breakfast bar
top comment
Bro got himself a gamer kitchen now
Ffs😂😂😂
Man will be making rgb rice
Exactly my thoughts like I like the white LEDs and I guess it could be a candle like mood bit fuck was it worth it

yeah a diffuser to put over it
@@robbiepresley1373 yep. I got that in my kitchen LEDs and it makes all the difference but it is a lot more expensive
Kon is just a magician, he turns any space into the best place ever.
It’s cool seeing you and the sidemen guys making all these home renovations and room design videos
I don't know if its just me but some light diffusers would look really nice on the light strips
That’s what I was about to comment about lol
Agreedd
yh i hate seeing the individual lights
yea it's really ugly I cant stand non diffused leds.
Bro imagine waking up every morning and you go to your kitchen to this masterpiece. This is how you know you’ve made it Kon. 🤯
That's a great kitchen looks clean af
spifey?
bro wassup
That kitchen looks so good great job 👍

kitchen looks so sick! feel like the led strips would look cleaner with diffusers but might just be me
DIY install not professional 🤷♂️
Awesome transformation!! New kitchen looks amazing, love the style!!
Congrats to you both!!! It looks amazing and very welcoming :)
Nice to see this being done properly especially on the flooring he definitely knows what he’s doing by priming the floor very nice👍🏻
I'm just so happy for both of them. Bless!
Love it!!!! Only suggestion is maybe pick up some led strip defusers so you can’t see the reflection of each individual LED. Of course it’s your kitchen take it with a grain of salt! Cheers!!! Looks amazing 🎉
looks good kon you’ve worked hard for it. keep it up ❤
Wow man, you really have an incredible vision for you things, it's so amazing and uplifting
Really nice looking kitchen. I love how you incorporated the led light strips. Very on brand
You know when Kon makes a video, its gonna be a banger
Definitely think you should’ve diffused the lights otherwise amazing
Heard about heated floors so many times but never knew this was the process. Thanks for showing us!
Looks amazing kon! You worked hard for it!
This is a great kitchen! 1 piece of advice is to put frosted clear raceways on the light strips to give it a cleaner look.
bro really created a gaming kitchen im done 💀
Love this! Quality work mate 🙌

Oh yeah I’ve been waiting for more of the house remodel love it Kon great job per usua 👏
Great video and amazing work on the kitchen! :)
The tiling was interesting to hear how he compensated for the ground not being flat

This might be one of the most beautiful kitchens i've ever seen. incredible job
You need to look at some more kitchens then.
@@jgiachardi or not. This is my style of kitchen. Problem?
Love these videos Kon - you da man! 😎
The workers in this video are such professional. The little things never missed. Top labourers.
not the countertop installers who fucked up the fresh paint job and can't polish undermounts properly☠
Kitchen is banging!!! Work hard and reap the rewards 👏
That looks amazing!
absolutely amazing kitchen and transformation, but PLEASE get some more plants in there, the different shades of green will really help bring some colour to an otherwise monotone room! 🙌🏻
Looks amazing 🤩
I know it’s a big ask and an expensive one but a garden transformation will be a banging video idea
this actuall made my day! thanks bro!
Awesome looking kitchen!
Looks so good!
Awesome job kon .
Good for you man, looks really good:)
Kitchen looks amazing
New kitchen setup just dropped, the cable management looking clean. Ngl Gordon Ramsey been mad quite. All we need is an elevating desk to cook in style. But seriously beautiful renovation kon
That kitchen is beautiful. Nice one man

absolutely beautiful kitchen
beautiful work
Looks amazing Kon
looks dope mate congrats
Personally not a big fan of the black and white theme but super happy for kon!
Looks sick bro. Im happy for you!

Kon you really are the jack of all trades a builder you install you create Kirsty is one lucky woman !
I know i'm old when i'm actually invested in diy videos like this lol but great work as always kon 💪💪💪
I have underfloor heating in all the rooms downstairs, it takes around 3 hours to heat up but lasts for a long time so we usually turn it on in advance
well in Kon another great video
Very nice indeed❤
looks sick mate😍
Great video!
Usually not a fan of bright white light, I’m a warm white kind of guy, but I like this. Smart and tidy
Yep, underfloor heating does take a while to warm up. LOVE the new kitchen - modern but still cosy!!
Electric is rubbish, he's been given very bad advice
@@rik061119 It’s alright for a space that size. If he was doing the entire ground floor then a water system is way better.
I’m so happy he gets to treat himself
What a legend Kon! 🔥
Sick kitchen, but come man. Leave those leds. But each to their own i guess. Keep up the good work Kon💪🏼
bro ive never seen a tap change heat that fast with the boiling and cold water thats actually my favorite part of the kitchen wow!
Love the kitchen. Have the same knife set too :D
looks great! quick question would the electric heated floor not make a big dent in the electric bill compared to gas?
The wine cabinet next to the breakfast table is a great touch
Your kitchen already looked amazing 😭😭😭
That looks nice 💯
Good job! But as a nitpick, I do think that the LEDs will have to be diffused somehow. Maybe it only shows this much on camera
yep thought the same, diffused will improve the asthetic highly haha
Can’t wait to see the gym transformation
Hi Kon, your floor wont heat up fast or very much because those tiles are very thick tiles, not the best with under floor heating! coming from a carpet fitter / floor layer
looks amazing, are you gonna get some diffusers forr the led lights tho?
Being an all around tradie from New Zealand, its cool to see how other countries do this
Usually the ones without a dedicated air duct just push the air out of the top again but it goes through like an active coal filter so it is supposed to be "clean".
Good to see kon finally do something for himself
looks amazing, would've put light diffusers on the LED strips though
Wait? A Konstantin kitchen doesn’t have a standing desk? Disgraceful.
Literally just watched frenchies kitched makeover video and then see this in my suggestions... Today is a great day
one thing would be better if you had a difuser on the strips but fairs
i cannot believe your not happy with that kitchen. its nice imo. curious to see the end result. just started the video and had to comment after seeing you smash up the kitchen
My kitchen is literally getting renovated now aswell omg 😂😂
The resale potential on this property is insane
Look forward to seeing you on Chip's come dine with me season 2

Hi Kon, how much did this entire process cost, if you don’t mind sharing? Would be interesting to know for those who are planning on renovating.
12:50 you should have defo put some diffusers on the ones near the floor as you can now see the leds instead of a nice bar of light
Is that a different type of plaster? Because here in Belgium they recommend at least 6 months before painting over plaster works if you want to have the best results and avoid having moisture trapped underneath the paint.
Kon got this crew on retainer from the studio reno lol. I'm jealous!
Looks gorgeous ! The LEDs not being difused are really annoying icl
King Kon the Customiser
i love whatching videos like this
bro.. Kon's sponsorship segemnt is just levels
kon turning people from wanting new gaming setups to new kitchen setups 😂
Get Govee Glide LED Lights for your countertops! This will make your kitchen look amazing and you won't be able to see all the dots!
Have to be honest with you Kon. Personally not a fan of the LED strips. Spots would look sick though, but the kitchen looks sick either way :)
