Remember when paladins was in alpha and actually had some promise then overwatch's beta hit and a few months later all the sudden this game we loved is now budget overwatch.
I still don't get the comparisons between both games since abilities/mechanics among other elements from OW have been used in other games like Dota 2, Titanfall and Call of Duty. I don't defend Paladins however, that game has it's own mountain of problems, and on the very tip of the mountain of trash is the Hi-Rez flag.
as expected, there is nothing new to hate this game anymore. maybe because ive watched many people that why they hate paladins so much. or this video is 2 years old that some of your points like play of the game, are pretty outdated, and thats alright. and as usual good editing. im looking forward for your future video, even your series has ended. best of luck to ye
I disagreed with a lot in the first 12 minutes, but I can understand the pain of those who played prior to the ob30s (when I got into the game). Everything after 12mins I pretty much agree with.
The first half of the video is quite weak and not very interesting. The rest is good and give a good idea of how it felt playing this game between OB40~ and 1.0.
I just want a casual hero shooter with creative heros, customizable builds, a high ttk, and various moba elements like tanks, healers, and dps. I loved battleborn, I love paladins, are there any good games like these? OW seems too serious to casually play, tf2 seems to only be a pc game, and my pc is trash, any ideas?
I think its hilarious that it's impossible to 100% the game naturally because of all the stupid complete overhauls. Like there's one for collecting cards which you can't do anymore, there's one for playing the beta which you can't do anymore, etc. That's also if you can even get the "get master in ranked" achievement. I know achievements are a small thing, but it's obnoxious since those are the only things holding me back from 100%
I also remember when they removed kill cams and final kills because something in their spaghetti code wasn't letting them change something completely unrelated without getting rid of it. Who knew drastically changing your game over and over again would fuck it up so much that nobody understands the code anymore
Something people may not get from this video is just how *CHEAP* the game has always felt. Animations have always been terrible, sound design nonexistent, voice acting and writing amateurish, nothing in this game is polished. To this day, like 5 years later or something, the play of the game intro is STILL just a static camera on the character's idle animation. Just look up the emotes (each character has like, 2 or 3 total) on the wiki to get a glimpse of just how shoddy the game looks. A forever RIP to Barik's fire trail Rocket Boots. Gone but never forgotten.

apart from the bugs i love hi-rez , they do better in terms of creativity, love for the community, actually listening to the community, balance changes and the really nice skins that are affordable
You forgot to talk about how if you accused Paladins of being a copy of Overwatch, they told you that Overwatch copies Paladins, because Paladins came out before.
