It still feels like Lucas Hatton is being overlooked by a lot of these events. He showed up to the Arnold's UK and blew everyone away with his amazing performance and repeated it at SMOE I really feel like he's someone we need to be seeing regularly at this level now

Event 1 deadlift: So hard to predict with ladders. Personally i hate ladders for deadlifts and OHP, reps and max and certainly better as tests of strenght. But, i give them the thumbs up cause that way someone can catch Thor at any deadlift event LOL. Thor still is capable of deadlifting w/o straps the max weight they choose though lol, so my bet is 1. Thor, 2 Mitch. Tom, Matt and Evan can spell T R O U B L E though. Event 2 grip and press: This event is Mitch´s, i don´t see anyone catching him for speed with the weights they will likely use. 2nd Tom, and here is the kicker, this event actually suits Thor at his present OHP strength, the log they usually use Thor can press, so don´expect him to lose many points. Still, hard to predict from 3 rd and beyond, my guess is Evan 3rd, Thor 4th and then the rest. Event 3: Inver challengue: 8. Shut the show and focus on Tom vs Thor, book it Vince, this is what we are waiting for. If this are natural stones my money is on the Thor. Either way, Mitch and the boys will fight for 3rd, and here Hooper has to come big and secure that 3rd at least, otherwise there might be a changue of champ. Event 4: Power Drive: We don´t know the implements yet, but if we take SMOE as reference this is gonna be the Mitch vs Thor show, Thor has the edge on push and pull, Mitch on the carry. I´d say this guys will take 1th and 2nd and then maybe Bobby. Event 5: Yoke escalator: Again, moose vs mountain. Hard to predict this last two, Mitch is faster on the yoke but Thor destroys him in power stairs, again if we take SMOE as reference expect something like that, if Mitch doesn´t cash on that initial Yoke Thor will catch him, not only that, but even though Mitch is a better Yoker, Thor won´t be that behind from him in time, so run moose, run. Event 6: Circus Medley: In other words, another ladder but with dumbells. I Actually do like dumbell ladders, they are certainly much better than dl and ohp ladders. Ok, if Olekss sows in shape no one will touch him, from there and following the atlehtes, Mitch, Tom and Thor will dispute 2nd to 4th, imo in that order. Thor? you ask, lack of great dumbell pressers i answer. See, Bobby, Luke and Evan are currently better pressers than Thor, but not on the dumbell and certainly not in ladders, so even though Thor´s pressing is not there yet he can secure 4th without much trouble given he has done up to what would be the 3rd dumbell in recent memory and most atlethes will stop there. Prediction: Tough this. In any good heavy OHP pressing show Mitch would have this, but this is not the case, Thor is building up there and what he already has might be enough to do what he needs. IMO it depends where Mitch ranks on the inver challengue if he gets 3rd he probably wins the comp, if he gets upset by Evan or Bobby that might be it. Whoever wins i do think will be Mitch and Thor 1st and 2nd and by a very small margin.
Pretty good assessment. I am curious on the Invers challenge. I don't believe those destroyed mitch on Powerstairs. Yes he was slower but made a mistake and was ahead in points so no need to rush the Powerstairs. I think he wins events 4.
@@Steven-go1vhWell, Mitch did mistake on the PS but then he really went slow. Thor waited him like for 15 secs and Mitch had a 3 secs head start after the fingal's, so even if we correct Mitchel's mistake, still Thor got him by like 10 secs. However, I did not had in mind the weights, if they are lighter than on SMOE then this might definetly change lol. And about Thor's pressing, I wouldn't be that surprised on the dumbell, cause only 3;guys can do the 4th DB and beyond, so if Thor is fast enough he'd get that 3rd, actually he got it at SMOE but Terry Hollands didn't gave a down signal, although by alleans, he got it. He did 150KG log for 6 reps with more in the tank at the SCL so his OHP is coming together and he was a natural with the DB. I might be wrong though
Without even having heard the events yet I'm going to predict: Mitch wins, Thor second by ~5 points, and then someone completely unpredictable in third a full ~10 points behind Thor. When should the community step in and save Oleksii from himself? Sounds like he's pushing himself beyond the redline at comps, especially throwing up backstage at Vegas?
