RetroOrangePi is a very capable RetroPie base. I funded the RetroEngine Sigma console, which uses an Orange Pi Lite board, and it included a badly-altered version of this OS. Once I installed the ROPI image directly from the developers, my device has been working great.
I got a question. I have a game station with retro orange pi installed and it has 10s of thousands of games and a bunch of emulators but for some reason the n64 emulators got corrupted and now I can’t play n64 games. When I plug the SD card in my computer it’s telling me I have to format it before I can use it. Do you know what I have to do to fix this problem or could you possibly fix it for me if I paid you for it?

advice to take the addon psu together with the board, as this board uses a non standard 4.0mm barrel jack and not the usual 5.5mm barrel or the microusb connector...
my ps1 save file on psp is .vmp.. will it work if i load the save data on retropie since im using a multidisk iso "eboot.pbp" to play psx games on retropie..
@@juliocampbell360 wish I knew how you were able to do that lol I'll try loading up some low res movie files onto a USB drive and take it from there. Thanks for replying!
This one has a Cortex A7 soc, so it is more like a slightly faster rpi 2. The orange pi one plus H6 would be a better choise, having a 64 bit a53 soc, while still being cheaper then the rpi 3. I don't know if retropie is compatible with this one.
And you should’ve really slow down on that set up the controller part to tell people how to set it up with do you controllers with lesser amount of buttons Seeing as some people may be buying this for their children and who don’t understand the aspect of having to configure out the screen with the controller configuration you can’t just speed through it like that like everybody knows what you’re doing
Where do you buy cases for these, and how much am I looking to spend total with case, board, power supy, etc? I feel this will cost over $100, and if so you can buy pcs thst psu way more games at that price.
Once upon a time, late 2016 and in 2017, these board cost about 15€ on gearbest and banggood. Now it's twice the price. 26€ was the price of pi 3. Orange pi is Only better if it's cheaper
why buy it 3rd party website. go orange pi website and click buy and becouse videos like these its better so price go high LOL once upon time rpi zero was 5 now its 20. rpi was 35 now its 45. i know it huge patch its lower price then years later on demand small patch cost more. why they not believe own product and do them millions and sell 15. board cost like 9 bucks make
in the build that was installed, it came with the emulators pre-installed. the only one that needs install really is the dreamcast which uses reicast and it will need the bios files. i have the same board and have a 128gig card.
I have two questions number one using the SNES controller how the fuck do you get out of the game once you get into it to change to another game number two is there a way to set it up for does not automatically find controllers every time you start the system
Wow suprised at the dreamcast speed , I just finished a shit load of mods so I am left with two dreamcast game pad shells, I guess I am making a two dreamcast portable's too now :( .....my soldering iorn hate's me no time for a cool off.
right now with actual retropie support? its the odroid xu4. its REALLY good and does n64 full speed(mostly) so all other older systems run good. even dreamcast is around 45fps which is playable.
ebay seller Nice. I wish I could cram a NUC or other sff setup into a custom retro case like the pi into the nespi. Maybe when I someday get a 3d printer...
No it don't do n64 full speed stop bullshitting , n64 has shit emulation as standard even on a i7 its hard to emulate....... A n64 with a flash cart is the best option. Fact
eh...this thing cost $15 + shipping on aliexpress tho its pretty good but I understand its 2 players only. I tried setting a 3rd controller never worked lol
Thank you for giving this little board some love. I think the orange pi boards are under appreciated. also the retrorangepie os has come a long way.
I agree!

Thank you for this vid. I bought one 2 years ago and never had anything to do with it.
I don't know much about the OrangePi, it's nice to see some info about it. I'll check it out later!

Do you know if there is any support for Orange pi 5 boards yet?
Did you FTP them to the orange pi and if so can you do a video on it. I just got one that came preloaded but it’s lacking my go to games.
Ok does this run MAME or Final Burn NEO games?
Awesome and informative video. Of all SBC which would u recommend for DC emulation on tight budget
What imager to install on the orange pi 3 lts? i down loaded retro pi and doesn't work please help.
Doesn't look half bad, though it would have helped to have the FPS listed. Thanks man!
Its on psp look at upper right corner

Kodi 17, good armbian desktop with on screen keyboard, retrorange pi is awesome.
I thought Kodi doesn't work at all due to lack of hardware acceleration?

I dont think that one has compatibility yet. I am sure someone is working on it, though.

Por favor Amigo como faz pra mudar o level dificuldade dos jogos ?
HI!
How config Dreamcast Emulator? My games are slow
(I have OrangePi Lite)
He's using the OP PC, don't expect them to run at the same speed, it's like saying your rasberry pi 2 doesn't run as as well as his rasberry pi 4

Hello!
@1:59 Banana Pi?
dude there is a banana pi board too! but yes misspoke too many fruit related boards!
Also Orange Pi, where is MY Apple Pie (with cream)
I'm quite partial to a gooseberry pie myself .
If Apple would make it a Pi, it would be expensive as hell and also its performance would be lower then raspberry pi 0
0:18 orange retropie lol. why not just retropie or why not just emulationstation becouse that is core lol
0:10 emulate rpi 3 lol
