Tips
-Go December through January. It’s like a hallmark movie come to life! They film Christmas movies here. We got to see one being filmed!
-Try to come on a Saturday in December! Front street is the best!
-Book the reindeer farm ahead of time.
-Bring warm clothes including snow/rain boots. Thermals for everyone. Hats, wool socks, scarves, gloves. Heat warmers.
-The town for the most part is stroller friendly. A carrier would work better for all the stairs into some restaurants.
-If it’s snowing use a sled to carry the little ones instead of a stroller! So much fun!
-It’s a German town so there is a lot of German food.
-Stay in town so you don’t have to rent a car. Just get a taxi or Uber from the airport.
-Pangborn is the closest airport (around 45 mins away) in Wenatchee.
-At night carolers sing at the gazebo. -Santa will be on front Street as well at certain times. Usually Saturdays in December. But you can catch him around town too.

Will be visiting this January. Do you think I need snow boots for walking around town or rubber shoes/uggs would do fine? 😊

No I don’t think you need snow boots. If you are wearing uggs make sure they are waterproof. I wore duck boots with wool socks sometimes doubling them.
