Cool concept to talk about I think.

I also love it when someone grabs me with both hands to shove/hold/grapple/bjj/wrestle me. It ensures I know where their hands are at all times, so I can strike them so much more effectively, in -painful- fun places. Also when pressed a stepping kick to the ankle or knee can go a long way, even if it isn't debilitating, it will draw attention and create an opening for you, without jeopardizing your stability.

The "running man" position used in MMA against the cage leaves you very vulnerable to knee strikes to the groin. In our training, we have the foot away from the wall/cage go up front. It's a lot less stable, but pretty much any dummy on the street knows the knee strike to the groin (we do it in training sometimes with very low intensity).

Also, I never felt that much in trouble. I did this with a pro fighter(light sparring) and I was still only like 6-7 months in my mma training(wrestling background), and even though I could feel the pressure, i felt fine. Hes the one using energy to keep me on the wall, so I let his strength hold me up so I don't have to worry about my balance, and I can heel "chop" him. We actually stalemated on the wall for a while, neither of us wanted to lose or give up our reasonably decent position...on both ends. Lol.

Quick question: Wouldn't that krav maga elbow choke scape thingy at 5:30 get you headbutted in the face? All those times Cliff's forehead was pretty close to your face and that's just from your elbow thing, with no intention from him. I guess you could put your chin down at the same time you use the elbow and headbutt HIM in the face, but I dunno... Seems kinda sketchy and like it would get you from a being choked situation to a still being choked and now also having a broken nose/being halfway KO situation...

@@hard2hurt Hahaha, I love your style, but don't be a dick about it, lol! Actually I'm just learning and when I tried this in (begginers) class, I promptly made my classmate give me a headbutt in the nose haha. I just wanted to ask without sounding like a moron who doesn't know how to fight, but I guess the cat's out of the bag now...

Alternate title: Using the Street in Street Fighting - THE WALL
Serious comment, I dont think the two handed rape choke is as common when against the wall. Feels more like a thing some domestic abuser would do if theyre mounted on top. A big dude doing a one handed "bad ass" choke maybe. But the two handed grab against the wall feels more like the "bully classic" where they grab the clothes and ram them in the wall with the whole intimidation thing you know?

Real talk someone did that one handed choke at my place of work during an argument. I was out on a lunch run when it happened though. I found out when I got back and got told he was moving to a different department.
The edit was me taking out profanity

Who says knowing krav maga is a limitation? Every option exists in battle, increase your opportunity for luck by being prepared for opportunity.

The techniques need to be broken down and explained clearly. This is only coherent to other gym instructors probably.

This video is helpful but the guy that looks like a silverback is way bigger than both of you. Like 100lbs on mike and 50 lbs on jay. It would be better if he was pushing both of you against the wall and you escape.
