PATTANI, THAILAND (ปัตตานี) - One of the attractions I was looking forward to visiting in Pattani is known as Bang Pu (ชุมชนท่องเที่ยวบางปู), known for its amazing mangrove forest where you can take a boat through a spectacular mangrove tunnel. What I also love is that it’s a community tourism initiative, run and operated by the local community in the area. #AmazingThailand #Pattani #travel
The boat costs just 500 THB for the journey, and then we also tipped our captain. First we glided through the mangrove tunnels. The nature is pristine and beautiful, and so untouched. It truly is an unseen attraction of Thailand and beautiful to visit.
Lastly, we headed out to the open sea - although this area of the sea is still sheltered by the cape - to a small mud bank to watch the sunset. Amazing view, peace and quiet, and a wonderful attraction to visit when you are in Pattani, Thailand.
Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

1:58 Selamat datang. May be there are many Malaysian tourists beside the people are ethnically Malay but they are happy to be citizens of Thailand. Thailand and Indonesia I think are the best example of tolerance country for minority. All South East Asian countries except Myanmar are tolerance I think.
Yeah that's true
There’s an enigma to mark wiens channel, his channels always puts smile on my face whenever I click on anyone of his channel, more praises to his wife doing all behind the scenes work.

Thank you so much Char, hope you're doing well and keeping safe.
Here in the philippines we eat the worm or tamilok live inside the branch of a mangroves. It's one of the exotic food in the Philippines. You can eat it all the way from the branch. It taste like oyster. You can bring and put a bit of lemon juice or vinger to balance the taste of saltiness from the sea. Thank you for this wonderful and amazing episode Mark. Godbless you ❤️
ยาซีนต้อนรับด้วย คิดถึงยาซีน

Love from Nepal 🇳🇵❤❤
Mmm mmm mmm i want one!! ☝️
Micah is growing so fast .... as a parent you'd wish he wont grow up too fast....at that age i remember taking a bath in front of our town riverbank and would dig for clams in sand and mud and fill a pail for soup... ( id make sure my mom is not around because she doesn't like the idea of soaking in the river) Those freshwater clams you got are huge!!!!
Awesome to hear that Eugenio. Yah, it's amazing how fast time goes by when you have a kid!

I would need a life jacket on that boat ride hehe
That sticky rice with flour, here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 we call it #Tupig. But it is wrapped in banana leaf when grilled.
In Thailand have sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf and grilled too.
Seemz like ds s d first Mark Abroad without showing d staying destination.....bt Mangroves were amazing.....✌️😃
I've only been to Bangkok, would like to visit Chiang Mai someday
Mark, the pieces of broken china that you have found might be a lot older than what Yaseen thought. Pattani was one of the main centers for the international trade of South East Asia during the 15th-18th centuries. In the Ayutthaya period, the corporation of Ayutthaya's administration and Pattani's Sultan made this city as a settlement for Dutch, Spanish, Portugal, British, Persian, Chinese, Java, Arab, Indian, Japanese, Philipino, Malayu, and Thai naval traders. That's why such artifacts can be traced back to many centuries, not just that of WWII.
Thats really cool
