The TD-7 is pretty powerful for how old it is. Roland used to put a sequencer on board for these modules td-7/8/10/12 had them, some like td-10 was a pain in neck to program And use. The td-7 was not so bad. Can pick you be off these up pretty cheap and the td-9 pads are dual zone with head/rim. They nothing to write home about, however plugged into ABLETON live/FL studio/drum vst software these pads can sound fantastic and be good way to record drums at home w/o crazy loud noise and a huge microphone setup. You can do the channel mixing in daw and send separate output tracks with vst software like superior drummer 3
Two part question if I may. I just acquired a Roland TD-7, can you tell me how to increase the volume for the kick? I have the manual and cannot figure out how to manipulate the module to change anything. I read to change to the many drum kits, but I cannot figure the sequence of button pushing to get to that area. Thanks, Guy
This was actually Roland's flagship 30 years ago with loads of possibilities and cool sounds!

What makes it a Turbo? Was it a specific OEM set or you are calling it that because of something you have added?
