Okay, but!
Whenever I curl my hair - be it with hot curlers, curlers in wet hair for the entire day, curlers and blow drying, sleeping in curlers - it goes back to straight within the next 30 minutes. It does retain some volume, but it just starts to lay down flat after just a short while.
I have tried styling mousse, special shampoo, hairspray, everything I could find. ): Nothing seems to help. My hair is neither especially thin or thick, just really, really straight. Volume isn't much of a problem, but any kind of curls ... just nope.
Anyone have any tips?

I had the same problem until I started using Not Your Mothers beach babe spray and it makes my curls last days

Kimi Ward she doesn't do heatless styles so don't get your hopes up. She only washes her hair about once a week so her heat usage is very minimal.

This looks beautiful on you, but if i attempted this my hair would look frizzy in the light due to teasing the hair root to tip. and would start to flatten in 15 mins. Id be re teasing it all night and the curls would fall lol

Pheiyu Barclas all cosmetics are vegetarian. No company uses actual animal product like skin or anything that requires murdering the animal, just by product (shells, fur, sweat, etc) just so you know. I've also heard crappy things about the brand.
