I do the same thing with my f-150. Mattress in the bed and all my gear in the back seat. Sometimes I’ll even throw a hitch-haul on the back for my firewood, or dead deer so that I can sleep in a clean place.
Good stuff. It’s nice to have a clean place to sleep. The F150 is a beast for camping.
Build a floor storage about even with the wheel wells. That way you can pull the draw out for the storage and have your bed on top of it and leave it blown up.
That might be the next phase! I’m running lean and mean right now lol
I’ll have to make a video of my setup. F350 with a giant back seat, tempurpedic foam, 2 layers of 5% window tint, some tubs behind the seats for food and stuff, job box in the bed, and a lawn chair. I’ve stayed in the woods for as long as 2 weeks. Love truck camping and it’s simplicity
I love it too. Have everything you need with you and it’s easy to pack up and roll out to the next spot!
@@HUNTERSADVANTAGEpacking up and rolling out quit is my #1 reason. Scent/presence is also a factor when you’re sleeping close to where you’re hunting. A truck in the woods seems less disruptive to wildlife than a whole campsite with more sounds and smells. Anyways, I wish you the best on your ventures. I have a pipe dream of doing the same thing myself
@@Range-X Good luck this season man! Shoot the big one.
Years ago I hunted and lived out of my truck with a high rise camper shell. I preferred this over motels or cabins as it gave me versatility in movement. Cooked food at my convenience. It’s one of the best ways to hunt. I used dry ice for food and game. Would last days.
It’s legit! I like having everything you need in one spot.
May have to get me a camper shell. Also that’s a good camera girl you got
Oh yeahhh
Filmed this in 100 degrees btw 😅
Thank you, lady :)
You can always tell someone’s age when the say “plug it in the cigarette lighter” 😂😂😂
I didn’t even noticed that 🤣
Don’t worry I’m 36 years old and still call it a cigarette lighter 😅
Oh if you are ever in southern Indiana I have a spot for you!! Although they are all private property farms I have free range on but the option is on the table! Keep the videos coming!!
