This is perhaps the first ever no traces OSP infiltration (NO WEAPONS USED) done on a level 78 FOB without the use of training mode. If it isn't a world first, then please comment below with evidence to prove otherwise, as I have not found any such videos.
This is the hardest challenge I've ever done on MGSV. This challenge requires a high level of luck and an astronimcal level of patience as enemy and UAV patrols can and easily will ruin your otherwise perfect run. I definitely lucked out on the custom mine setup on this base as the route I had chosen had zero custom mines or cameras along the way.
Every handicap I had to face in this video:
- No Traces
- S++ Guards
- 2.00 x espionage booster solider
- Custom mine and camera setups
- No training mode
- Level 78 FOB
- Long-range security
- OSP (You can't actually go with no gear, so I selected a grade1 Primary and Secondary)

I feel as if I need to address something in regards to this challenge. OSP means on-site procurement. Meaning that you have absolutely NO GEAR.
I'm forced to take a primary and secondary weapon. So I scaled them down to grade 1.
That's what makes this a world's first.
- It is a level 78 Base
- It is an OSP infiltration
- It is a No Traces infiltration
- It is not on training mode
- It has S++ Guards
Now if you'd like to contest this and say that it isn't a world's first then please direct me to the video proving that I'm not (Name of the Video and Username). Make sure the video is from a time before I posted this or there is something in the video proving it was done before me.

I actually haven't found any and i purposely set out to find it just to rub it in your face lol 😂 but yeah it's no where on youtube. There is one vid posted recenty that is similar but it is not OSP like yours. There'll be trolls out to get you for claiming first for sure. Lol

Pulling this off with a staff rank 2 soldier is exceptional, did you train on your base with this strategy before going realtime!! . I do stealth infiltrations but the path you chose would be a nightmare for me lol
It took a while for sure. I did train on my own base, but I also trained on a few others. I also failed a ton of times against real bases as well loI. I got real lucky with this base because it had no custom mines or cameras setup along my route. I managed to avoid all of them.
If you ever try out this challenge, good luck. All it takes is practice.
@@ObsidianRaven7 no custom mines or not, the path that you chose will be filled with UAV troubles, that jump at deck1 and the way you waited for the UAV',s to pass was brilliant 👏👏

I always find it cathartic to watch people do this. The higher ranked bases are so difficult. I recently did a 78 Intel base, daytime with snake naked (shirtless) and I had no traces until the last platform I took out a uav. Didn't alert the guards but as soon as I got to the door, literally just before I walked in the player spawned in to defend. So frustrating...

I do not understand what their big fuss is about - so, you made a video and called it a world's first, so what? You're not hurting anyone. They're only assuming you called it that for clicks or an "algorithm", they're only assuming someone else has done it because it's a 5+ year old game. Bro really just pulled up a real big boss on them. Went in and out, left no evidence, no witnessess, no traces. Maybe a few sightings but that was some impressive stuff either way. GJ bro.

Might *technically* be a world-first (at least for English-speaking players), but this base has no security zones configured and no worthy bridge blocks. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the base has that glitch where it shows 51 mines, but the 51 mines were placed before adding a platform, which despawns all the hand-placed mines and cameras.
You got a bit lucky for sure but it's still good to see high level ghost runs like this. Good job

I'll admit, I'm impressed. Not only was it OSP with S++ guards and all kinds of security upgrades, but you also did it with a DD Soldier and not Snake. So if you're really the first to do this challenge, you're also the first person to do it with a DD Soldier. I salute you.

I miss the FOB raids, after reaching the top ranks pretty much every base is bugged or ran by a cheater, it's so great to see some honest to god, high skill gameplay again. GG!

@@HProtagVtuber There’s glitches you can do to make FOBs crash your game upon invading, you can glitch claymores and cameras into places that make them completely unavoidable (which makes a video like this impossible) it just becomes a tiring glitch war at the top end
doing this type of infiltration is very easy to do when the owner of the FOB has not blocked it with mines and cameras.
Yo there should be an OSP Infiltration Option that tremendously increases Espionage Points and Rewards
I wish. I want to get at least a couple hundred thousand precious metals for infiltrations like this lol.
Nicely done, I do have one question though. Since placement of mines, cameras and security zones was lacking, it didn't really seem to matter, but isn't rolling technically better for moving undetected than to spam diving? Not sure if it's different between console and PC.
It's been a few years since I did my full stealth (and some OSP) runs, and never did them this high level, but I remember being spotted quite a bit faster with diving than rolling.
Spam diving is faster than rolling and more precise, provided you're skilled at it. He was spam diving when timing was absolutely critical. A second too late, for example, and a camera or UAV could easily turn their FOV toward him and the whole mission would be blown. Yes, it's more visible technically than rolling, but it's quicker when it counts, and that often makes all the difference.

that sniper AI in the end would have f**ked you if it just randomly decides to spot you cause you on daytime setting. Sniper AI is very OP in this game for infiltrations and kinda buggy

WOOOOW.....impressive....very much so. I can tell u did lots of retries...Could you give me some advice that u would give a new player to this game? I am experienced in MGS in general, but I skipped this one due to a depression and I am now getting into it (finally). What is the most important mindset to have to become better; and what things should i look into?
Thank you for the comment man. I'd say the most important mindset to better yourself is to recognise that you can and will fail. You will absolutely die in embarrassing ways. I believe recognising your mistakes and learning from them is the best possible thing you can do to get better.
Personally, I also like to watch other people infiltrate bases as a way to improve myself. There's no shortage of knowledge to be gained from other people out there.
If you're looking to get into FOB's and have finished the main storyline, I'd say look into completing FOB events. You're able to purchase tons of staff using FOB event points. It's a good way to kick-start your journey into FOBs.

I am still not finished with the main story, but have done some FOB events. Kinda overlooked that I could buy some good staff with the points, haha.
Anyway, I will practice practice and practice and fail tons of times too. I hope you will make more videos MGS:V related if you find fun in doing so. They are great.

I fancy myself kinda good at _Metal Gear V._ I've played, easily, over 200 hours, which is an _Extreme_ amount of video game time for me. I'm what you'd call a casual gamer. easily.
_Metal Gear Solid V_ is probably the most fun I've ever had, consistently, with a video game, and DEFINITELY during my time getting back into gaming after a decade in 2020 or so. MGSV isn't the BEST game I've played during my gaming resurgence of the last couple years, I'd give that to _Red Dead Redemption 2_ very easily . . . but MGSV is the most replayable. I love that game.

I think this is the fun part of this game when I see some guys reaching the core with all the little traps I let
If I'm forcing you to take the top of the first and second bridge it would be very tricky without at least use a magazine

All I want in this game is an option to go in completely barehanded like in the OSP story missions.
It would be awesome if OSP was a real mode in the game, where you could actually drop in Foxhound style, just an empty loadout.
These No Trace style runs are so fun to watch, it's MGS in it's purist form.
If only you could pick up weapons in FOB
@@severussin I mean, I know you can disarm guards and take their weapons as part of CQC
@@knightshousegames there is an OSP mission in the single player campaign, where you can procure weapons onsite by indeed holding up guards
On FOB if you perform a hold up, the FOB soldiers just drop their weapons but you cannot use them

Hi, I'm scared of invading FOB, but, I want to retaliate against someone. Any tips to get good in FOB infiltration?
Be patient. My lack of patience has made me fail tons of infiltrations. Especially in retaliations as I want to save my staff. So I suggest, taking it slow and analysing every situation.
I also recommend looking at other videos for strategies and tips. I personally view higher level infiltrations, because you can learn about strategies that might've eluded you.
That or you can go for a blood retaliation and slaughter the entire base. Knock down their reinforcements and security equipment grade and then go all out.

I've played mgsv fob so much almost 90% of them with total stealth but never thought about no traces in fob with higher level defence fobs
I then started playing splinter cell blacklist where i completed all missions on perfectionist with total stealth but just found out keeping hostiles Undisturbed gives you max bonus
And here i am started playing fob with no traces
Its seems boring but its actually super fun with no traces no special equipment and no enemy engagement shit
