Just over a wk ago took out the 1200rs that impressed chopped my bike in and bought a 2023 baja orange totally enjoying it and as you said tyres went straight to power 6 and tail tidy installed
That’s brilliant to hear Nick, I’m so excited for you with your new bike, I absolutely loved this bike, I was sad when it went back! It looks beautiful in the baja orange too 😍 good to hear you’ve changed the tyres for power 6 👍 #RideSafe
Just found your channel. I just bought a Baja Orange one and picked it up last week. I’ve done about 300 miles on it…prob 250 of those in rain or damp, and find the tyres good in those conditions. I find tyres vary from bike to bike. If you’ve had a bad experience with a tyre on one bike, it tends to affect your confidence with them on all bikes. Other than that I agree with you on the other points - tail tidy went on straight away 😁 and people love the colour…I don’t know why they discontinued it (mines an ex-demo bike). Good review, thanks.
Hi James, great to hear you’ve got the baja orange, it looks beautiful in this colour 😍 yes I agree with what you say about tyre choice, you tend to find a tyre that suits your riding and stick to it ! I hope you love the bike as much as I did, I was sorry to see this one go back!! #RideSafe
Thank you Robbie, I really appreciate you saying that 😊 I can definitely recommend a test ride, keep me posted if you do, I’d be interested to hear what you think 👍😎
Hello from Burry Port, 15 miles west of Swansea. May I ask if you found any issue with neutral selection on this bike ? Some have complained about it but I've not heard if Triumph have addressed the issue. In days of yore, this kind of thing, clutch drag etc. were pretty common but it's not a great thing at today's prices. I overlooked it with the £70 ex police BSA 250 I bought in the early 1970's on which to pass my test.
Hello to you too Michael, I hope you are keeping okay 👍 No, I didn't experience any issues with finding neutral on this bike, it also has a quickshifter as standard which is probably one of the smoothest I have used. Your BSA sounded lime great value for money, they're probably worth a bit more than that now!
@@BikerKazZ As it happens, the engine blew up on me and I had to bring it back on a train from Carmarthen. I'd already bought a Suzuki GT380 two stroke triple from a friend at work, but had to sell that in order to buy a brand new Suzuki GT250 on which to pass my test. The folly of youth. I did pass and promptly sold the 250 to a pal and bought an used Triumph Trident 750 from a shop in Swansea, its owner buying a new one year on year. I used to change bikes regularly myself but have had the same Suzuki SV1000 naked since 2005. It's a pretty decent bike, after a bit of fuelling and suspension tuning. All the best to you.
@@michaelarchangel1163 oh!! Sounds like you’ve had a great collection of bikes over the years 😎 let me know if you manage to get a test ride on the Triumph, it’ll be interesting to see what you think of it too 🤩
The Orange paint in the sun goes iridium, and on the black frame really pop's. Lovely 😊
Yes the colour is perfect for the bike, really suits it 😎
