@@bry12341000 For real. Luckily, I remembered some lyrics, so I had that to go off of, but I was prepared to spend hours searching for these guys. I spent months trying to remember the bands Levels and Mirrors (2 separate bands). Some bands really need more memorable names lol
I've been having this same issue for the past 5 + years and I just saw this band posted on a fb page. I was so thankful because this song was one of my favorites
Joe taught himself to play his older brothers guitar when he was like ten years old, being a lefty, he turned it upside down. When he was given a lefty guitar, he had to restring it because that's how he taught himself. It's not a stunt, or any big mystery, just what how learned. I should know, I'm his mom. :)
So I listened to this song in high school and some how lost the name of it and 10 years later I found it! I'm so happy right now! I thought I would never hear it again.
Back in like 2014-15 I played a show with these dudes and it was in Michigan in the middle of the winter. We had basically nobody come to the show because the roads were made of ice at that point. Ended up baking in someones car and just got to hang out with em, super down to earth dudes.

Just to clear things up 8 years later.. The "Jack Black" guitarist on the far left is playing a normally strung right handed guitar, but upside down. You can tell because when they play low notes, he is playing on the top/high string not the bottom/low string.
My 6yo son is showing quite a bit of interest on playing now, but keeps picking up my basses and guitar and holding them lefty... Every time, I flip them the right way (well, I guess the "right way" isn't the proper term, as there's nothing wrong with being lefty... but you know what I mean :D), he turns them back around.... lol... looks like (if he decides to stick with it) he's gonna be a lefty.. Gonna have to string one "upside down" though, because I don't know how in the world I could teach him to play with the fat string on the bottom?!

These guys and underoath inspired me to play drums and sing the clean vocals, SLU is ofc harder than UO but you need a challenge to get better. On guitars i try to jam to spies, i think i dont listen to alot of metalcore bands so when i listen to them its kind of special and new to me. But when i post videos of me learning drums i play laot of indie and rock, i hope im gonna post a good spies video soon, its just the difficulties with singing their clean vocals and actually play their awesome drums, i only have been a "good" drummer for about 2 years, and playaing for about 3. But drums was the last instrument i picked up.

I don't know WHY people complain this isn't original and sound like everything else. like that they sound like every other band making this kind of music right now it means I won't have to worry about them doing anything different or unique that might make me hate the. I hate it bands try to be different and stand out or go in some new direction. People want music that sounds like other music that is why we have genres. When you start to like improvise and stuff it alienates your audience and they stop liking you. Country music doesn't do original shit and they have a huge fan base. Also the Eagles always did the same thing and they are in the RRHOF.
