Can you show me your settings for the ZVE 10 that you use for the ATEM pro. And we have a very similar set up but I can’t get it the camera to connect or the Road caster pro two, PLEASE HELP!!
Bother thank you for putting today a great video. This was really helpful I am looking to build my own studio. At the current moment is this still the best way to set everything up? I know this was filed last year.
It depends on what you’re trying to accomplish in your studio and what your recording workflow is going to be like. If you have to have 4K files then no. But if you’re good with the footage getting compressed down to 1080p (which can be even crispier), then yes, I still recommend using something like the Atem to easily switch between sources. Now, later this year I’m going to be investing in a deck link. Right now I use a 4K CAMLINK but the deck link will allow me to connect all my cameras to the computer and I can switch with Ecamm or a stream deck. You can technically do that now but it will put a load on your machine
Like your videos. I have a question. I'm struggling to setup my ZV-E10 to send HDMI to my ATEM SDI EXTREME ISO. Which setting are you using on your ZV-E10 to connect to ATEM Mini Pro?
Thank you Walter. This is a great video. You touched on a lot of topics that are very relevant for small shops, specially at the end there with the Audio stuff. Btw, one suggestion, when using Ecamm Live. It has an audio monitor feature. So, it can be used instead of the poorman's solution (Quicktime).
So I didn't clarify in this video but the only reason I don't use the monitoring in Ecamm is b/c I'm using the headphone out jack to send the audio out to the sanctuary.
@@waltjennette Oh do you do that to be able to playback background music or a sound effect from your computer, for those physically in attendance? If yes, that's interesting. I actually plan to do that as well on my upcoming event! But I'm concerned if it will do feedback... As the sounds I play will come out on my event's local sound system and might be picked by the microphones and come back to Ecamm Live.. you see where I'm getting at? Is this a valid concern ?
My friend and I are going to do a live sports stream channel and at this point we only need two to three cameras. Your video and set up looks great and It looks like Ecam would be very helpful! Would wireless mikes work with the Atem mini pro? Our set up is going to be real simple: both of us in one camera while the other one is on a monitor. Just want the best audio solution. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Can you connect the Sony ev e10 in 4K 30p with eye AF engaged? I only can get it in 4K 24p with shutter at 60fps so I can match in 60 fps on Atem mini, but saw your video with 4k30p and eye AF with Camlink card. Thanks man!
Thanks for the info. For some reason, my Atem can't show a video coming in from my Sony 7C. Can you share your settings on your camera and Atem? Thanks.
Thanks my brother. I have a question We have the atem extreme, mac mini m2 16gB, with ecamm live, soundcraft impact for sound. We were constantly getting a delay even after adjusting the frames in ecamm live, up until Sunday when they turn on echo cancellation. Was this the issue or something else?
Were you running the Soundcraft directly into the ATEM Mini or into Ecamm? This is an issue I experienced, as well, but it was more an issue with the ATEM Mini moreso than Ecamm.
I see that you have two audio lines going into the Atem from the rodecsster.... How is this possible cus on my rodecsster there is only one day of 1/4" audio out so where did you get the back up audio for mic 2 to go into the Atem from??
so the first five seconds of your video? how do you get rid of that lag/buffering issue? when i go 4k i get that issue too sometimes. how do you fix it
Can you clarify further? The first 5 seconds I was talking and there was no lag. Is that what you were referring to? Or when I switched to the multiview?
Not sure if you were able to figure this out but make sure you're putting out 1080 and not 4K from the Sony ZV-E10. Also, The 1st input on the Atem Mini can be tempermental with cameras because it was supposed to be used for Computers or Games. Quick fix is to take the HDMI cable and then switch it to another input and then you can put it back in that 1st channel.
@@angeloflow_23 Make sure to share your solution for the benefit of others. And also as a courtesy to the person you asked help to, in the first place.
I'm pretty sure you can record on the Mini Pro. The USB-C port has dual function. Either use to act as a webcam for the computer OR connect an external hard drive and record directly to it. Now, if it can record 4K or just 1080p, I have no idea.
What else would you like to learn about the Atem Mini Pro?

Interested in how you use audio set up for your stream. There are a few good videos out there, but seeing what everyone is doing would be great
Specifically wondering if you use any of the audio features like the compressor or limiter

Walter, does the audio follow the video out with the USB C such that Ecamm Live can use it for the stream?

Not sure if you were able to find the answer but make sure that you're outputting 1080p from your Sony A7C.
You have to use a hdmi booster and a hdmi Fiber optic

can we use 5d Mark iv for streaming in church ?
As long as you have a Clean HDMI out from the 5D, then yes.

Not sure if you figured this out, but Mic 1 is Stereo and not mono. That's why it's showing "2"
Am i able to output to a atem mini as well as an xlr studio speaker if im doing a hybrid stream event?
So the ATEM has input but not output. If you're using a mixer like me, then yes. You can run to both.

Hello, one question why when I connect my camera to the atem mini the black screen appears, I don't have the image from the camera? thank you so much
So, one thing I would check on your camera is your HDMI settings. Make sure it's not putting out 4K but 1080. What camera do you have?
