Hello, Zzsark here, I do have to agree with most points of this, specially because I've seen all the things shown here because I'm in the fandom since the premiere of the pilot. I have seen so many dramas, wars and problems that were created in Twitter and in Reddit with art stealers, OC waves and even the beheading of a known OC that didn't belong to the artist who drew her like that, just to say some, in so little time. We only are a year and half old and already with a lot ot stuff that happened, a bit predictable considering the lack of content we had for a whole year while Glitch was doing Meta Runner 3. Now I'm here in this fandom because I like Liam Vickers's Cliffside and specially Internecion Cube, and since he abandoned (suprisingly :000) these 2 shows, this new one had my immediate attention. The show has a great lore and universe, but it's like Glitch is modifiying Liam's script and changes the serious and spooky stuff into a Disney XD channel show, which is horrible because I see such a great pottential in the series, but Glitch just decides to go with what makes everyone happy: wholesome moments and adding more fuel to the ship fire. I have made ship art as well, in fact, the little drawing of N giving a hug to Uzi shown in the video it's my drawing, but I'm known for making a AU comic that went to what made me love Murder Drones, a grim story with a violent outcome, because I think that's the best one can do with this series. But maybe that's just me. I am grateful for every single follower I have and earned with this fandom and I'll keep doing stuff for them and for Liam. Thank you so much for the mention, I really apreciate it.

She has points there's a lot of hate with the Fandom about everything that can't be agreed on so I hope there are more people that don't add more hate to this fandom but I still like it
I agree with almost everything in this comment except the part with Glitch...I know Liam is the show runner and the creator of this show but without Glitch, it wouldn't have been this popular in the first place and would've probably shared the same fate as Cliffside and Internecion cube. This show managed to see the light of the day thanks to Glitch Productions.

I ship Uzi x N but i would be fine if N x V or Uzi x Thad or they stay single. They say N is too old for Uzi when he is just 1 year older than Uzi, i do not mean N is a 1 year old, i mean the age difference isint really that big. Crushes wont always mean you will end up with the person you like.

Aaaaaah yes, the ol' internet fandom cycle. First the fandom's small and people don't really talk about it. Then it gets big and people get tired of seeing it around, so they start making videos insulting it. Then the fandom dies down and people forget about it. Then sometimes it gets big again and the cycle restarts. Now, I'm not saying the things this video says are wrong, no no no. But I have heard them for every other fandom I've ever been a part of lol. I just think it's funny how the Internet is just one big cycle and wanted to point it out.

The Murder Drones fandom is mostly kids, which isn’t bad but it leads to kids making the content making the content. Before you say that it’s weird that Murder Drones fandom being mostly kids is weird because of the series being about murder and body horror, remember that fandom like FNaF and Creepypasta are literally about child murder and several brutal deaths in them and yet they pretty much have only children in their communities.

I used to be with the MD community We used to have a pretty stable fandom. Then we made a fanon fandom. Barely anyone found it, which was nice. We had a pretty stable community, but then new people found it. Everything got bad after that, especially after someone leaked it. Small communities are way better.
I don’t entirely agree with the whole small communities are better thing as any community can be bad no matter the size. If you have a small of group of fans that are the wrong type of people then the fandom will end up being problematic anyways despite being small.

The thing i like the least about this fandom is how a lot of the art is extremely sexual. Now i dont know how old Uzi or the dissasembly drones are (imo they have atleast a two year age gap) but there is a pretty big chance that atleast Uzi is a minor. Plus these are literally robots wtf. this kinda demotivates me from making actually normal fanart
N says this primarily because his A.I was reset by Cyn. Being technically reborn with different memories. Episode 3 "the prom episode" confirmed from student missing posters that UZI is 19-21. She is just starting adulthood and was probably held back a couple grades when you look at 1. Her behavior. And 2. It's Uzi. She doesn't exactly do her school work and spends her periods just snapping at classmates and being kind of an idiot.
I just in the fanfiction/UA-cam comments side of MD because I’m not too heavily in the fandom, so this is very new to me. The shipping drama is so stupid to me, mainly because I’m used to seeing actually problematic ships (IE 14YO/26YO, siblings, adult and his adopted daughter, etc).
I search Murder Drones on UA-cam. 1. I get the actual episodes. 2. a couple high quality animations and commentary vids. 3. Gacha Life crap. 4. “edits” and 5. borderline r34 thumbnails (they actually appear 3rd, but I want to rank the types of MD content best to worst.) I like the show, but the fandom is downright depressing and sometimes horrific.
Well, if I'm being honest here, I care about people's OCs about as much as one can random mid-tier drawings on the internet. As in, I'm not about to go looking for them, but I enjoy seeing them generally and think they're neat. Furthermore, now you've mentioned yours and piqued my ever frivolous curiosity. lol And about _that_ art, the only thing I can say is that after the cognitohazards made by the Undertale and FNAF fandoms... Look, it's not my thing by a long shot, but I can see where they're coming from a bit more here, so I'm at least not questioning humanity AND craving Shot-O's lead grain cereal.

all those things are normal things that happen in fandoms xD You can't say a fandom is terrible when literally every fandom has those things you mentioned, and with the ocs thing (which I didn't even realize was happening), I just see it as something people do for fun, you don't have to tell them to do something with them
A cool thing I like to do that isn't canon -kinda like a OC story- is make horror stories out of murder drones. Maybe a little weird but I find it interesting making stories. I'm far from being a bad fan but no where near being a cool fan that does the stuff a lot of other people do. The stories I usually make are like goosebump stories, I mean like murder drones + goosebumps + how fazbear frights and tales from the pizzaplex tells their stories. I would read that.
Recently there was a huge discourse on Tumblr because someone had a plan to ship Uzi and Doll in a fanfiction and gatekeepers felt the need to shut it down hard because they can't handle stories that don't ship Uzi with N, it was insane. Their argument was 'Well, there's a theory that their moms are related so they're cousins!' ...A THEORY. And also 'Well Doll is a killer!' Because N TOTALLY didn't mercilessly slaughter a bunch of worker drones when he first broke into their base and V's TOTALLY never gleefully tortured any worker drones to death, am I right?
I swear to god, more humans are getting dumber and more pathetic by the second with all these art stealers, and content thieves. Yes, I too am a young creator (11 at the moment) and I am new to the whole fandom type of thing, but just seeing people steal from others is just not cool. I mean, I made a short on playing some Murder Drones music and I know other people had too. What shocks me the most, honestly, is that people enjoy the videos in which have not been edited at all like the one he showed, which just seems to promote more people to do the same thing, and just make low quality edits, in which is doesn’t make it an edit at all. I saw one of the comments saying most of the Murder Drones fandom are kids, and tbh I barely even visit the sites the fandom posts art and more because my parents won’t let me -_- Those accounts stealing stuff HAVE to either be told to stop by the platforms they post on, or simply be banned, and it shocks me how it hasn’t been done yet. It just seems things will never get better, with more wars, dramas, and content stealers across the fandom which may be less educated kids, and some other random people that can’t make their own idea. I may be a crappy UA-camr, but on my perspective, the war has only begun between the good and original content creators of the fandom and the bad content stealer ones. Heck, there are even channels like GLIITCH that uses the profile picture and similar name to the original @GLITCH and post videos based on the new Murder Drones episode, and just uses random clips from the episodes existing, and telling people to click on links in their descriptions that are definitely not safe and have viruses, those also get on my nerves. I just really wished the fandom would improve and be better than what we see currently but is just not happening, and things are expected to get worse. (sorry if what I said doesn’t make sense, my point is just the fandom of Murder Drones currently isn’t that good right now)
the types of people on the fandom you mentioned are found in every fandom imaginable and no one usually cares if there is little work put into the content they make, if people can get views and engagement from even just using other peoples stuff then more power to them

Honestly I agree with you on this one. Especially the point for low-effort stuff, like- I'd like to watch videos where effort was actually put into it for once in this fandom. It's mainly why I look for art or animations or whatever on Tumblr since at least 50% of the art for Murder Drones that I see there actually has effort put into it.
I was never a fan of the clique edits regardless because I always find them awkward to me. Im also a part of the Murder Drones fandom and I do agree as Ive witnessed some of these arguments. I may or may made a Murder Drones oc of my own(which isnt surprising), but I only use them as a roleplay character for the Murder Drones RP game on roblox. Roleplays do help me flesh out my ocs easier so I have developed some more characteristics about that oc. I might make comics on my oc, or even experiment on their design, though the oc's roblox avatar remains the same because the custom morph category is locked away by robux that I do not have, so I use the typical avatar creator. (Which means Im a tad limited but I still managed to make a decent design.) But overall, I heavily agree with these statements and OH BOY AM I LUCKY TO NOT BE APART OF THAT SIDE OF THE FANDOM-
With the OC thing, I 100% agree. I have an oc named Serial Designation Z (Zip) and yeah, no one cares. I dont care if they dont. Its kinda just a funny little angst story for myself to enjoy. And yeah, ive also noticed the shipping issue is in literally EVERY fandom, and its annoying. I ship nuzi, but I don't fight eith anyone over ot, and I won't. People have a right to enjoy themselves. It really gets under my skin when people start stupid wars over it.
The first thing that you've mentioned are what everyone calls AMVS or Tributes except the Tributes lost their meaning, the good example of a tribute is Technoblade's tribute with the music from LOL "Legends Never Dies" the music fits well but the entire video is either fanmade animations or clips from technoblade's videos, its what a tribute is supposed to be but it has lost its meaning which is sad, AMVS are basically what you have mentioned from the start, fan edits of the show with music, the music choice is what made AMVS less relevant, the music choice doesn't fit well with the video or the fan edits suck or it could be both, anways both of AMVS and Tributes have alot of blunders when it comes to editing, either the music doesn't fit well with the fan edits or clips or the clips/fan edits just suck in general, finding a good AMV or a Tribute is harder than trying to find that specific video you wanted to watch...

I don’t have as much of a problem with reaction videos as most people do, but I also consume reaction videos regularly. I don’t watch reactions until I’ve seen the original video, and being able to vicariously experience it for the first time again alongside other people on the internet adds an incredible amount of rewatch value, and fresh perspectives help me notice things I didn’t before. There are a lot of awful reaction channels out there that barely pay attention to what’s going on, and quite a few that also just have nothing of value to add. But like any category of things that are made by people, if you look hard enough you can find a good number of really great reaction channels to watch, run by people who have so much love to give for media and who care about joining in on the discussion or being an entertaining personality in their own right. A good reaction video feels like a group watch party online with other people who are also fans of the show, and they are a godsend to the fans like me who have little to no friends who they can share the fandom experience with.
I see your point, it makes no sense for them to do... well... stuff like this, when I scroll through reddit, I see people making fan animations, oc's, comics, and theories, some of these have a lot of info or actual effort put into them, but when I hear 'meme', I think of a funny animation, photo, or just something that makes people laugh, not a constantly repeating cycle of the same drawing or photos in the same fucking order on music that I don't find interesting or don't fit the theme, then when I see some oc's I think, just why, some of the stats make no sense, along with the fact that you can't just give them something that someone else has and say it's fine because it's your oc, and even after all of that, most of these guys quite literally don't do anything else, other make make oc's, it takes away the point of something special being associated to one person who achieved it through different means, like Doll and Uzi, some of the shipping is cursed, clickbait drives me annoying and draws in people to boost their channel. Edit: Something that I forgot about were AU's and the Gacha community, the AU's can either be really good, or completely uninspired, and Gacha was already a hot mess with all this 18+, and cringy shit that will literally get people arrested, but then they just HAD to add Murder Drones into it, and then I would either see 18+ content, cringy edits or AU, or some combination of all of them, trust me it happened, I've never seen them, but I know they've happened
Am I the only one who never understood these "no low effort" rules in subreddits? I personally think that it's rules like that who make people afraid of posting online when their art isn't at the standard of being amazing or whatever. Some people love drawing and wish to post their drawings to get people to see them, and I'd feel very disheartened if something I spent hours working on was taken down to a "no low effort" rule, because that would tell me that my art that I worked hard on is the equivilant of something being "low-effort". What if I don't want to make a comic with my OC? What if I don't want to write a story about them? What if I'm not interested spending dozens of hours trying to improve my art? I feel like I should be able to post it regardless. But anyway, that's just my opinion, and I'm sorry for the other expiriences you had with the Murder Drones fandom.
Whilst I understand your viewpoint I do want to ask you this. If your not interested in making something that other people will like, why do you want to show it to other people? There is nothing wrong with you drawing your own characters just because you enjoy doing so but the decision to post them online means you are encouraging other people to see it. People on the internet don’t care about your feelings, they just want to see good quality content. Yeah I know it sucks but that’s the risk you take with making stuff online, people can criticise it.

And I also think it is ridiculous for somebody to post art online and expect everything to be all sunshine and rainbows. However, I'm not refering to those who will critisize artwork, I'm refering to those who will outright remove it because it is not "good enough". In my opinion, while critizism and even hate should be expected, the ability for me to post my art in the first place should not be taken away. And there are also special circumstances where people can physically not be able to improve their art to the quaility of "good content". What if somebody has autism? Or have an impairment in their dominant hand? What if somebody, despite having disabilities, loves drawing, and wants to share their drawings online? Do we say "tough luck, people only want to see good content"? I personally don't think that is a good solution.
The thing you said about oc... THAT'S SO ACCURATE BRO ISTG. I agree, if you post your ocs, do something with them, not just slam them somewhere saying "here my oc, enjoy". (And yeah right now i'm working on a comic about my MD oc, i did post 2 drawings of her that don't have any info of her but the thing is i posted them in my own blog on tumblr and not actually in a place where all can see that storyless oc. (i'm working on that, i got her a story in my head).) The other points are good too, i like how you didn't go on a full rampage about ships and actually respect normal (in this context i'm talking about the one's that don't attack other people because they don't like their ship) shippers, it's been and still is a problem in every fandom i'm in - shippers don't respect each other and hating on each other shippers and people that don't ship anyone and the others do that in return. This cycle of hatred and death threats is so annoying and i'm glad to see people that break it. overall nice vid, keep up the good work man 👍
I'm gonna be honest, I try to distance myself from fan content because it can ruin the series for me, especially the... 34th style, that stuff is concerning. The only fan content that I can say is pretty true to the source material is the fan comic "Serial designation U". It actually has care put into it and is engaging.
I understand the hate on bad edits, I only really accept them if it comes from an extremely low sub channel, And I understand my edits aren’t the best currently either, but I am also trying to improve, I try add something new per edit, like right now I’m trying to learn how to make shakes and a thew other pieces, remember if you see a low sub channel with bad edits, don’t go immediately to hating, try help them improve and better said edits,
Holy christ, I entered this video expecting a rant about the community as a whole but there were actually really good points that I agree with here. Thus is the unfortunate thing of having a part of this fanbase, most of the things that this community makes are low effort. I hate it when I have to literally dig through art to find something good. Not to even mention everything in this video was really well thought out. It wasnt just “I dont like this stop doing it” its genuine advice to an extent. Jesus Christ, The Fandom is so goddamn terrible i can't even share Murder Drones to my friends anymore, I really enjoy Liam's works and i hate how underrated they are, Murder Drones rose in popularity and surprise surprise, It's community fucking sucks! My friend tried searching MD to give it a try and apparently the first thing he sees is a Video titled "N & V's Sussiest Dates With UZI! (Murder Drones Comic Dub)" Which led to his opinion to it as weird. Don't even get me started on its Tiktok Community. *HELL TO THE NO.* huge waste of a good show. Part of me thinks that MD being targeted to Teenagers plays a huge part of why this happened.

You don’t need to be incredible at what your doing, you just need to try. Have a look at my first videos, there is zero skill there. All that matters is that you put effort in, we can tell when you do and when you don’t.
This whole series is something I do enjoy a lot, but as Zzsark has probably said in the pinned comment, I also do not like the somewhat toning down on glitch's part with the show. I personally do not even care for shipping, as I find it to be distracting and to use as bait for all the fangirls/boys obsessing over that one specific thing, just bothers me.

Well, I agree. Also sad about the shipping. It's actually not a bad thing. Even more - we're all shippers!!! Because shippers are basically fan opinions about couples. And when you start thinking - "hmmm, so who are they going to start dating?" or "have they started dating? But I thought there were hints of the other guy," etc. That already counts as shipping. It's just fallen prey to the internet's most beloved things - absolutizing everything to hypocritically save your own a*ses (=_=) And the second equally favorite, "rewriting and twisting the meanings of words for your own benefit." Where they have reworked the meaning of the word - "shipping" to mean something bad. To blame them for all the troubles and horrors. When they themselves are doing the same thing but in peace. Or pro-shippers. Oooh this is crazy. In fact, proschipers - is someone who respects others for their fictional pairings irregardless of their own feelings toward said pairing. Like you here - "Please don't hate others opinions and ships" This is literally it. But now the proshippers are the crazy people who support inc*st, twinc*st and a bunch of other sh*t. This word has been turned into a complete nightmare just for them to have a scapegoat. Completely ignoring the original source of the problem, the crazy shippers who supported this sh*t in the first place. And there are many such examples. The most obvious example is asexuals. They've been turned into some kind of artifacts that can't be touched or even looked at, or they'll be traumatized. Who can neither have s*x nor be a couple. This is especially true of fictional characters(because they simply can't do anything about as i'm like to call them "Crazy protectors"). Although in reality they are people with a lack of sexual attraction. They're just not very interested in having s*x. They can love, they can have a couple, they can have a family. Even more, they may well have s*x if they have a purpose for it - to have offspring, for example. And what they usually describe have other names: Anti-sexual - People who hate sexual relations in any form. And who would never engage in such a thing. ( Yet they may have a couple and be in love) Anti-Romantic - Literally the same thing but in reverse. They hate love and couples but may have sexual relations. I really enjoy the show but I completely agree with the art problem and think it’s weird how they do it (just look at any of the thumbnails of comics if you search up any comic dubs) and people shoving what they think the correct “ship” into other peoples throats instead of just enjoying it or just saying their opinion and not harassing someone since they have a different opinion.

Hello, Zzsark here, I do have to agree with most points of this, specially because I've seen all the things shown here because I'm in the fandom since the premiere of the pilot.
I have seen so many dramas, wars and problems that were created in Twitter and in Reddit with art stealers, OC waves and even the beheading of a known OC that didn't belong to the artist who drew her like that, just to say some, in so little time. We only are a year and half old and already with a lot ot stuff that happened, a bit predictable considering the lack of content we had for a whole year while Glitch was doing Meta Runner 3.
Now I'm here in this fandom because I like Liam Vickers's Cliffside and specially Internecion Cube, and since he abandoned (suprisingly :000) these 2 shows, this new one had my immediate attention. The show has a great lore and universe, but it's like Glitch is modifiying Liam's script and changes the serious and spooky stuff into a Disney XD channel show, which is horrible because I see such a great pottential in the series, but Glitch just decides to go with what makes everyone happy: wholesome moments and adding more fuel to the ship fire.
I have made ship art as well, in fact, the little drawing of N giving a hug to Uzi shown in the video it's my drawing, but I'm known for making a AU comic that went to what made me love Murder Drones, a grim story with a violent outcome, because I think that's the best one can do with this series. But maybe that's just me. I am grateful for every single follower I have and earned with this fandom and I'll keep doing stuff for them and for Liam.

We used to have a pretty stable fandom. Then we made a fanon fandom. Barely anyone found it, which was nice. We had a pretty stable community, but then new people found it. Everything got bad after that, especially after someone leaked it.
Small communities are way better.
I don’t entirely agree with the whole small communities are better thing as any community can be bad no matter the size. If you have a small of group of fans that are the wrong type of people then the fandom will end up being problematic anyways despite being small.

I just in the fanfiction/UA-cam comments side of MD because I’m not too heavily in the fandom, so this is very new to me. The shipping drama is so stupid to me, mainly because I’m used to seeing actually problematic ships (IE 14YO/26YO, siblings, adult and his adopted daughter, etc).
I search Murder Drones on UA-cam. 1. I get the actual episodes. 2. a couple high quality animations and commentary vids. 3. Gacha Life crap. 4. “edits” and 5. borderline r34 thumbnails (they actually appear 3rd, but I want to rank the types of MD content best to worst.) I like the show, but the fandom is downright depressing and sometimes horrific.

I swear to god, more humans are getting dumber and more pathetic by the second with all these art stealers, and content thieves. Yes, I too am a young creator (11 at the moment) and I am new to the whole fandom type of thing, but just seeing people steal from others is just not cool. I mean, I made a short on playing some Murder Drones music and I know other people had too. What shocks me the most, honestly, is that people enjoy the videos in which have not been edited at all like the one he showed, which just seems to promote more people to do the same thing, and just make low quality edits, in which is doesn’t make it an edit at all. I saw one of the comments saying most of the Murder Drones fandom are kids, and tbh I barely even visit the sites the fandom posts art and more because my parents won’t let me -_- Those accounts stealing stuff HAVE to either be told to stop by the platforms they post on, or simply be banned, and it shocks me how it hasn’t been done yet. It just seems things will never get better, with more wars, dramas, and content stealers across the fandom which may be less educated kids, and some other random people that can’t make their own idea. I may be a crappy UA-camr, but on my perspective, the war has only begun between the good and original content creators of the fandom and the bad content stealer ones. Heck, there are even channels like GLIITCH that uses the profile picture and similar name to the original @GLITCH and post videos based on the new Murder Drones episode, and just uses random clips from the episodes existing, and telling people to click on links in their descriptions that are definitely not safe and have viruses, those also get on my nerves. I just really wished the fandom would improve and be better than what we see currently but is just not happening, and things are expected to get worse. (sorry if what I said doesn’t make sense, my point is just the fandom of Murder Drones currently isn’t that good right now)

Honestly I agree with you on this one. Especially the point for low-effort stuff, like- I'd like to watch videos where effort was actually put into it for once in this fandom. It's mainly why I look for art or animations or whatever on Tumblr since at least 50% of the art for Murder Drones that I see there actually has effort put into it.
I was never a fan of the clique edits regardless because I always find them awkward to me.
Im also a part of the Murder Drones fandom and I do agree as Ive witnessed some of these arguments.
I may or may made a Murder Drones oc of my own(which isnt surprising), but I only use them as a roleplay character for the Murder Drones RP game on roblox.
Roleplays do help me flesh out my ocs easier so I have developed some more characteristics about that oc.
I might make comics on my oc, or even experiment on their design, though the oc's roblox avatar remains the same because the custom morph category is locked away by robux that I do not have, so I use the typical avatar creator. (Which means Im a tad limited but I still managed to make a decent design.)
But overall, I heavily agree with these statements and OH BOY AM I LUCKY TO NOT BE APART OF THAT SIDE OF THE FANDOM-

The first thing that you've mentioned are what everyone calls AMVS or Tributes except the Tributes lost their meaning, the good example of a tribute is Technoblade's tribute with the music from LOL "Legends Never Dies" the music fits well but the entire video is either fanmade animations or clips from technoblade's videos, its what a tribute is supposed to be but it has lost its meaning which is sad, AMVS are basically what you have mentioned from the start, fan edits of the show with music, the music choice is what made AMVS less relevant, the music choice doesn't fit well with the video or the fan edits suck or it could be both, anways both of AMVS and Tributes have alot of blunders when it comes to editing, either the music doesn't fit well with the fan edits or clips or the clips/fan edits just suck in general, finding a good AMV or a Tribute is harder than trying to find that specific video you wanted to watch...

I don’t have as much of a problem with reaction videos as most people do, but I also consume reaction videos regularly. I don’t watch reactions until I’ve seen the original video, and being able to vicariously experience it for the first time again alongside other people on the internet adds an incredible amount of rewatch value, and fresh perspectives help me notice things I didn’t before.
There are a lot of awful reaction channels out there that barely pay attention to what’s going on, and quite a few that also just have nothing of value to add. But like any category of things that are made by people, if you look hard enough you can find a good number of really great reaction channels to watch, run by people who have so much love to give for media and who care about joining in on the discussion or being an entertaining personality in their own right.
A good reaction video feels like a group watch party online with other people who are also fans of the show, and they are a godsend to the fans like me who have little to no friends who they can share the fandom experience with.
Usually it takes at least a few years for a fandom to be toxic. Didn’t think it would be this early
I see your point, it makes no sense for them to do... well... stuff like this, when I scroll through reddit, I see people making fan animations, oc's, comics, and theories, some of these have a lot of info or actual effort put into them, but when I hear 'meme', I think of a funny animation, photo, or just something that makes people laugh, not a constantly repeating cycle of the same drawing or photos in the same fucking order on music that I don't find interesting or don't fit the theme, then when I see some oc's I think, just why, some of the stats make no sense, along with the fact that you can't just give them something that someone else has and say it's fine because it's your oc, and even after all of that, most of these guys quite literally don't do anything else, other make make oc's, it takes away the point of something special being associated to one person who achieved it through different means, like Doll and Uzi, some of the shipping is cursed, clickbait drives me annoying and draws in people to boost their channel.
Edit: Something that I forgot about were AU's and the Gacha community, the AU's can either be really good, or completely uninspired, and Gacha was already a hot mess with all this 18+, and cringy shit that will literally get people arrested, but then they just HAD to add Murder Drones into it, and then I would either see 18+ content, cringy edits or AU, or some combination of all of them, trust me it happened, I've never seen them, but I know they've happened
Am I the only one who never understood these "no low effort" rules in subreddits? I personally think that it's rules like that who make people afraid of posting online when their art isn't at the standard of being amazing or whatever. Some people love drawing and wish to post their drawings to get people to see them, and I'd feel very disheartened if something I spent hours working on was taken down to a "no low effort" rule, because that would tell me that my art that I worked hard on is the equivilant of something being "low-effort".
What if I don't want to make a comic with my OC? What if I don't want to write a story about them? What if I'm not interested spending dozens of hours trying to improve my art? I feel like I should be able to post it regardless.
But anyway, that's just my opinion, and I'm sorry for the other expiriences you had with the Murder Drones fandom.
Whilst I understand your viewpoint I do want to ask you this. If your not interested in making something that other people will like, why do you want to show it to other people? There is nothing wrong with you drawing your own characters just because you enjoy doing so but the decision to post them online means you are encouraging other people to see it. People on the internet don’t care about your feelings, they just want to see good quality content. Yeah I know it sucks but that’s the risk you take with making stuff online, people can criticise it.
@@unhelpfulcommentary I understand the criticising part, you cannot realistically post art on the internet without somebody saying they don't like it. And I also think it is ridiculous for somebody to post art online and expect everything to be all sunshine and rainbows.
However, I'm not refering to those who will critisize artwork, I'm refering to those who will outright remove it because it is not "good enough". In my opinion, while critizism and even hate should be expected, the ability for me to post my art in the first place should not be taken away.
And there are also special circumstances where people can physically not be able to improve their art to the quaility of "good content". What if somebody has autism? Or have an impairment in their dominant hand? What if somebody, despite having disabilities, loves drawing, and wants to share their drawings online? Do we say "tough luck, people only want to see good content"? I personally don't think that is a good solution.
The thing you said about oc... THAT'S SO ACCURATE BRO ISTG. I agree, if you post your ocs, do something with them, not just slam them somewhere saying "here my oc, enjoy". (And yeah right now i'm working on a comic about my MD oc, i did post 2 drawings of her that don't have any info of her but the thing is i posted them in my own blog on tumblr and not actually in a place where all can see that storyless oc. (i'm working on that, i got her a story in my head).)
The other points are good too, i like how you didn't go on a full rampage about ships and actually respect normal (in this context i'm talking about the one's that don't attack other people because they don't like their ship) shippers, it's been and still is a problem in every fandom i'm in - shippers don't respect each other and hating on each other shippers and people that don't ship anyone and the others do that in return. This cycle of hatred and death threats is so annoying and i'm glad to see people that break it.

I'm gonna be honest, I try to distance myself from fan content because it can ruin the series for me, especially the... 34th style, that stuff is concerning.
The only fan content that I can say is pretty true to the source material is the fan comic "Serial designation U". It actually has care put into it and is engaging.

I only really accept them if it comes from an extremely low sub channel,
And I understand my edits aren’t the best currently either, but I am also trying to improve, I try add something new per edit, like right now I’m trying to learn how to make shakes and a thew other pieces, remember if you see a low sub channel with bad edits, don’t go immediately to hating, try help them improve and better said edits,

Holy christ, I entered this video expecting a rant about the community as a whole but there were actually really good points that I agree with here. Thus is the unfortunate thing of having a part of this fanbase, most of the things that this community makes are low effort. I hate it when I have to literally dig through art to find something good. Not to even mention everything in this video was really well thought out. It wasnt just “I dont like this stop doing it” its genuine advice to an extent. Much appreciated video to see I’m not the only one who thinks this community is for the most part really underwhelming
Jesus Christ, The Fandom is so goddamn terrible i can't even share Murder Drones to my friends anymore, I really enjoy Liam's works and i hate how underrated they are, Murder Drones rose in popularity and surprise surprise, It's community fucking sucks! My friend tried searching MD to give it a try and apparently the first thing he sees is a Video titled "N & V's Sussiest Dates With UZI! (Murder Drones Comic Dub)" Which led to his opinion to it as weird. Don't even get me started on its Tiktok Community. *HELL TO THE NO.* huge waste of a good show. Part of me thinks that MD being targeted to Teenagers plays a huge part of why this happened.
As someone who got death threats and was called special Ed in a murder drones fan discord server, I can confirm this fandom is kinda bad. I still kinda like the series tho.

So I have these two friends (the type to play roblox all day and watch gacha on youtube) and they are obsessed with the show, they changed their pfp to N x Uzi ships and constantly spam murder drones ships in the group chat, this includes some questionable stuff, also yes low quality edits as well
I came to the show because of Liam, an animator who got invited to make it, and goddam they are kinda ruining the show for me-

You don’t need to be incredible at what your doing, you just need to try. Have a look at my first videos, there is zero skill there. All that matters is that you put effort in, we can tell when you do and when you don’t.
This whole series is something I do enjoy a lot, but as Zzsark has probably said in the pinned comment, I also do not like the somewhat toning down on glitch's part with the show. I personally do not even care for shipping, as I find it to be distracting and to use as bait for all the fangirls/boys obsessing over that one specific thing, just bothers me.
Make OCs for Doll to murder and cronch on? I like doomed characters, and murder drones could use more chase to butchery scenes...

It's actually not a bad thing. Even more - we're all shippers!!! Because shippers are basically fan opinions about couples. And when you start thinking - "hmmm, so who are they going to start dating?" or "have they started dating? But I thought there were hints of the other guy," etc. That already counts as shipping.

Where they have reworked the meaning of the word - "shipping" to mean something bad. To blame them for all the troubles and horrors. When they themselves are doing the same thing but in peace.

The most obvious example is asexuals. They've been turned into some kind of artifacts that can't be touched or even looked at, or they'll be traumatized. Who can neither have s*x nor be a couple. This is especially true of fictional characters(because they simply can't do anything about as i'm like to call them "Crazy protectors").
Although in reality they are people with a lack of sexual attraction. They're just not very interested in having s*x. They can love, they can have a couple, they can have a family. Even more, they may well have s*x if they have a purpose for it - to have offspring, for example.
And what they usually describe have other names:
Anti-sexual - People who hate sexual relations in any form. And who would never engage in such a thing. ( Yet they may have a couple and be in love)
Anti-Romantic - Literally the same thing but in reverse. They hate love and couples but may have sexual relations.
And AroAce is anti-sexual and anti-romantic all in one.
But most people are like: - okay. We going treat asexuals like AroAce. But overdoing to the state of absolute madness. While completely not giving a damn about the other three.

I really enjoy the show but I completely agree with the art problem and think it’s weird how they do it (just look at any of the thumbnails of comics if you search up any comic dubs) and people shoving what they think the correct “ship” into other peoples throats instead of just enjoying it or just saying their opinion and not harassing someone since they have a different opinion.

But if you are ever making a edit of murder drones make sure to credit glitch productions because the amount of work and effort they put into this series is incredible! They work super hard day and night making episodes and etc for the future on people to enjoy!
