Okay so, here's to find out Uzi from murder drones, Charlie from Hazbin Hotel and Sabie from Saberspark have the same voice actor. This fact makes a lot of sense...
Okay, after watching this review. I’m DEFINITELY going to check this series out. I’m just really active in supporting independent animators and artists these days since big cooperation companies keep cutting or cancelling original content
indie animation series' are coming out loud. im glad that some creators are seeing the other opportunities on YT to grab networks or streaming services.
4:04 They have hair because they "borrow it" from the dead human corpse. They have kids because the 2 parents combined their code together to create a new one to make a child.
I love how they lean into the part where they’re mentally robots. All of their actions are AI scripted. Uzi is constantly saying “bite me” and her dad said he also went through a “kill all humans faze”. I doubt he did that, because that’s what all dads say in tv shows, and when the teacher brings up the potential of damage” he starts fumbling, like all parents in every tv show ever
@@aj_art7201 they didn't say anything about an AI writer, just that the actions by the characters are the sort of things that their own AI (being robots) would push them to do.
@@mothichorror446 an AI meant for doing manual labor wouldn't act our TV tropes, as there would be no reason for it to have the knowledge of said TV tropes. I’m literally speechless, I’m just so glad you’ve seen this series. I’ve only just started watching it and I’m already obsessed, I’m also a fan of SMG4 who is the owner of Glitch. Again, i don’t know what to say!
Can we also state that luke and kevin STILL produce weekly stuff for smg4 while working on stuff for gltich. And some of the arcs in smg4 feel like pre-gltich mini shows
As someone that use to watch SMG4 when I was a teenager before Glitch Productions was founded...I must say it is impressively well executed. Your thoughts on it mirror mine exactly.
Man, seeing one of Liam's works reach this level of popularity after Cliffside warms my heart. I'm looking forward to seeing how and where this series fits in the bigger picture (if you know, you know :] ).
murder drones is amazing, i can tell that these people in glitch put their heart and soul into this amazing indie animation. i love the horror, mystery, the world-building, comedy, and characters. for me, i'd never care for post-apocalyptic/dystopia era but this one i actually enjoy. in my opinion there are characters who are self-aware and their comedy is kinda obviously funny but there is nothing I can't complain about.
I am _VERY_ interested to see where the story and characters of Murder Drones will go moving forward. Of course, with only two episodes out at the time of commenting, it's hard to say. But seeds have been planted. As of right now however, I'm mainly just so happy that Liam Vickers finally has an official running series to call his own. Ever since I saw Cliffside way back when, I've wanted to see more of his stuff and HOO BOY am I getting it!
It was a fun and action pack of the indie animation, I could think independent animation could be the biggest thing for the animation industry from Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss and much more!
I have been following Liam for an extremely long ass time since his creepypasta/story's/music and I'm glad that he has started a new series and can't wait for more episodes of this series! It does help that I enjoy SMG4/Glitch's stuff so put 2 and 2 together well it's a perfect match!
Glitch Productions are one of my favourite production groups style wise. Even though season one is a bit rough, Metarunner has a great cyberpunk feel, Sunset Paradise looks like a videogame (which it's supposed to), and Murder Drones is absolutely amazing. Pretty nice for two guys who make Gmod machinima
It’s supposed to fill the Void of Teens/Young adult content so I can see why they went for that feel tbh. For that reason alone I LOVE Glitch Production’s Content.
I love murder drones too, I definitely believe moving forward we're going to get darker plot points that progress things quite smoothly. I do agree that the Pilot felt self aware a bit, but I don't mind it that much personally
While the fandom behind liam vickers still misses his old stuff, most of us see him explore new stories and put his mastery of writing horror to good use also I recommend you check them out, even if im only a fan of Cliffside and Murderdrones so far
How different is his old stuff compared to the new one? For all I have seen, all his works are cartoons with a focus on horror, mystery and some light comedy.

Can we just take a second to realize how SMG4 went from sm64 gameplay with subtitles to a 3 season series based on a character and a THIS?! Just... wow.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the robots in Murder Drones are strangely attractive. Suffice to say, the aesthetics work, they work REALLY well.
Legit...I am still blown away from seeing Luke and Kevin going this far. I watched smg4 ever since 2012. They came a LONG way. From just making the main series look good, but also making really good shows on glitch! Seriously, because of them, I want to be an animator. Can't thank them enough.
Thanks for getting me in that community. That shit is insane, how did the team just make a 3d models animation with particles and expression in just 2 months
I like Murder Drones because of the story and animation. I love the character designs especially the designs of V, J, and N. N is my favorite character he's too good for this apocalyptic world yet he just full of positivity plus he's so cute and he's growing friendship with Uzi is adorable. In the second episode the ending is what caught me off guard After they defeated the absolute solver Uzi got scared of N when he was only trying to see if she's okay. Maybe she got mild PTSD afterward or something about the absolute solver means that this thing has something to do with her mom who died from off screen disease. She then reunites with her cowardly dad, N is contemplating on Uzi, V saw that her chain broke but she didn't escape and stayed, and Uzi she is in her room looking up at the ceiling that's full of papers notes. Is she going to be okay? I want more episodes of Murder Drones.
Uzi had just seen what she thought was her father's death, of course she was traumatized. V is either hiding the fact that her chain is broken so she can surprise attack them, or she switched sides because she feels bad for N but doesn't want to admit it.
@@vibaj16 another thing to consider: right after seeing that death, 'N' asked her if she was ok, she said "No!", and gave 'him' her weapon... and it turned out that it was Absolute Solver in disguise so i don't see it that surprising that she would be scared of N at that moment, both due to not trusting whether he was actually N (at least subconsciously), and due to some understanding/suspicion that Absolute Solver (or different instances of it) is part of all murder drones in some way (based on "what, are you things?" question)
2:33 "VIBE = HARSHED" I can't believe I only just noticed that in this video. Small shit like this is *_LITTERED_* throughout this show and its amazing. And there's more harder things to notice than this I don't know how the hell I missed it until now.
Actually they explain the hair in a later episode. They are installed wigs. It was something some Drone owners would use to customise them cosmetically & the trend was carried on by the Drones post humans.
I was pleasantly surprised to have Saberspark talk about a Glitch- show. Shows how far Luke and Kevin have come in their animation career. Running a parody series of Mario online is one thing, but creating new worlds that gain the attention of other content creators is a different matter.
PLEASE review Meta Runner, it was made by the same people and is one of my favorites series of all time, and it's about video games, what's not to love about it?
Heck yeah!!! I absolutely love this series (does the pfp give it away?). And you can always expect the classic “V is hot” joke with any murder drones review
I agree with genre productions, this feels like a dream. I thought murder drones had a small fandom and didn't realize how big its gotten. This is truly bizarre
I follow Liam Vickers since Cliffside and have loved all of his animated shorts. At the moment my favorites are Internection Cube but it was a shame that he couldn't continue with it. Thanks to Glitch, Liam can now prove that he is capable of making the best stories and animated series that have ever been on UA-cam. I Love Helluva Boss too, but i gonna be honest, and for me Murder Drones is a better show than Helluva Boss

Okay, after watching this review. I’m DEFINITELY going to check this series out. I’m just really active in supporting independent animators and artists these days since big cooperation companies keep cutting or cancelling original content
I also recommend you checking out Liam's other projects, namely Cliffside and Internecion Cube ;)
Check out SMG4 too, it'll be hilarious for you to see the change in type of content
indie animation series' are coming out loud. im glad that some creators are seeing the other opportunities on YT to grab networks or streaming services.
You coming with all this positive praise after waiting so long; I'd be dead by the time you got to watch even one of them.
Been following Liam Vickers since he made Cliffside, so I’m ecstatic that he’s finally got this own show
Liam does good work, his sense of humor and his experience and understanding of horror have come together wonderfully
4:04 They have hair because they "borrow it" from the dead human corpse. They have kids because the 2 parents combined their code together to create a new one to make a child.
True but Im still so confused
I love how they lean into the part where they’re mentally robots. All of their actions are AI scripted. Uzi is constantly saying “bite me” and her dad said he also went through a “kill all humans faze”. I doubt he did that, because that’s what all dads say in tv shows, and when the teacher brings up the potential of damage” he starts fumbling, like all parents in every tv show ever
pretty sure the writers are just leaning into the tropes heavily. not having an AI write dialogue for them.
If they know about the troped now, they would have only learned about them due to movies they found or having seen the movies humans watched while humans still occupied the planet
@@aj_art7201 dude, you're complaining about an AI not having that kind knowledge when literally all of the characters in this act the way they do.
@@mothichorror446 they act that way because the writers wanted to joke about those tropes. However in world they wouldn't be programmed to act that way. If they know they're acting out those tropes inworl hen here doing it on purpose because they saw them on TV, not because humans programmed them to.
Just with the firsts minutes i was already in love with this serie. The characters are so cool and the animation is really well made
This literally got me into Murder Drones.

I’m literally speechless, I’m just so glad you’ve seen this series. I’ve only just started watching it and I’m already obsessed, I’m also a fan of SMG4 who is the owner of Glitch. Again, i don’t know what to say!
I still can’t stop rewatching the videos, I absolutely love the videos. Even if there’s only 2 episodes, I will still continue rewatching them
I have no idea how many times I’ve seen the first episode alone, but it’s probably unironically over 20 times
@Seeing Star you have been waiting so long for this :

So many bots!!!
This title feels like something you’d be forced to say in a post-apocalypse
“Murder drones are great! plz don’t kill me”
murder drones is amazing, i can tell that these people in glitch put their heart and soul into this amazing indie animation. i love the horror, mystery, the world-building, comedy, and characters. for me, i'd never care for post-apocalyptic/dystopia era but this one i actually enjoy. in my opinion there are characters who are self-aware and their comedy is kinda obviously funny but there is nothing I can't complain about.
Check out Meta Runner next! It's by the same studio and it's an original series developed entirely by them. Lots of lore and it's sooooo well done!
it's so bad 💀

Wow the bots are so bad on UA-cam 😭
Agreed
Their first series is such a fun one!
Both of their other series deserve a chance

Glitch is just a fantastic channel, my personal favourite for me being Meta Runner.

THIS SERIES IS THE BEST I'VE WATCHED SO FAR!!! It's got amazing animation, a great storyline and character style! I need to see moreee
I have arrived from the future, TODAY!!!
Gonna binge 6 episodes no wait needed xo
@EmotionalDamage.. First of all, why did you send me this? Second of all... BITE ME!
@Emotional Damage yea well we don’t actually care

I loved this show along with Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise and I'm waiting for episode 3 to find out more of the lore of Murder Drones
Was not expecting someone as large as Saberspark to make a video on Murder Drones, glad to see this show getting more coverage.
I like how the main character “Uzi” is named after an infamous sub machine gun.
Wich is named after the person who made the smg.
Uzi 9mm

Finally! This is definitely one of my favourite UA-cam series!
I have been following Liam for an extremely long ass time since his creepypasta/story's/music and I'm glad that he has started a new series and can't wait for more episodes of this series!
It does help that I enjoy SMG4/Glitch's stuff so put 2 and 2 together well it's a perfect match!
man, i to this day want to see more of internection cube xD
hope it also finds its own spot too
We finally did it, Saberspark finally checked out Murder Drones. Now to get him to watch Internecion Cube, one of Liam's best examples of his art
1:28 you should’ve mentioned internecion cube, (you can see so many similarities from murder drones inside of it, it’s a series from liam vickers).
"Bite me! ... I'm not mad at you, by the way, I'm just generally hormonal! 😅👍👍"
I LOVE that line. 😂
While the fandom behind liam vickers still misses his old stuff, most of us see him explore new stories and put his mastery of writing horror to good use
also
I recommend you check them out, even if im only a fan of Cliffside and Murderdrones so far
How different is his old stuff compared to the new one?
For all I have seen, all his works are cartoons with a focus on horror, mystery and some light comedy.
@@manzanito3652 His old stuff is actually primarily audiodramas, cliffside was his first full animation
@@firebladeentertainment5739 Didn't know he made audiodramas. Thanks.

I know its not animation, but Liam Vickers' "Black Dogs" series is literally one of my favorite pieces of fiction to date. Its a brilliant horror story that I urge everyone to check out!
Ooo, that sounds captivating! Is it a comic?
@@tacothursday7364 It's an audio-based horror story, a couple hours long I'm pretty sure. Black Dogs is a part of his early works, and its located on the Scary Story Time With Liam channel, aka SSTWL.

@@vibaj16 another thing to consider: right after seeing that death, 'N' asked her if she was ok, she said "No!", and gave 'him' her weapon... and it turned out that it was Absolute Solver in disguise
so i don't see it that surprising that she would be scared of N at that moment, both due to not trusting whether he was actually N (at least subconsciously), and due to some understanding/suspicion that Absolute Solver (or different instances of it) is part of all murder drones in some way (based on "what, are you things?" question)
2:33 "VIBE = HARSHED" I can't believe I only just noticed that in this video. Small shit like this is *_LITTERED_* throughout this show and its amazing. And there's more harder things to notice than this I don't know how the hell I missed it until now.
3:56 HOW DID YOU GUESS IT? As of Episode 7, yes, NORI IS ALIVE!
I've been following Murder Drones since Liam made a video about Glitch animations and him collaborating on it.
I will only be able to die happy once Saberspark does an in-depth review of Meta Runner. Then I can be truly at peace.
Actually they explain the hair in a later episode. They are installed wigs. It was something some Drone owners would use to customise them cosmetically & the trend was carried on by the Drones post humans.
It's a pretty cool series. Can't wait for the next episode.
Murder Drones is one of my favorite animated series! I'm so happy Saberspark did a review!
I dunno please report@Emotional Damage's channel

I was pleasantly surprised to have Saberspark talk about a Glitch- show.
