After the end of the show it’s fair to say we won’t get a season 2 but we will get SOMETHING eventually which is good enough for me (And yea I mean murder drones exclusive like a story continuation so not like advertisements glitch x or stuff like that)

I have no idea how one could watch TADC and not see a consistent narrative story developing in the background of every episode or come to a conclusion that Pomni has some "resets" between episodes. At the start of ep3 she asks in fear if NPCs going to become self-aware again - as a direct result of her traumatic experience with the end of Gummigoo in ep2. Even without ep4, it is clear that she didn't just magically forgot the gator.

Tbh, I was meh towards J until two things happened. 1) I kinda really started thinking about her character in terms of potential arcs or events that one could reasonably speculate happened off screen. The culmination of these reflections kind of evolved into the first fanfic idea I’ve decided to humor in actual years. And 2) the ‘Brazilian J’ fanart by Liokumaa. Like disbelieve it if you want, but I don’t even mean that in a downbad/simp way, it just made me consider that while she’s presented as kind of a stereotypical corporate villain archetype with I would assume intentionally few empathetic qualities because the show barely had time to tell the story it did, much less flesh out side characters, she could have potential to be very cute and endearing in different conditions. Also I disagree with everyone saying she has the best design out of all the characters. I kinda give that to V, although J and N are very close in terms of aesthetic merit, and the whole trio just looks cool at the end of the day. And really, I don’t think there’s a design in the show that I outright don’t like. It nailed the aesthetic it was after really well imo. But that’s just me…

I personally think there are two major reasons for Aphmau's 'downfall': 1. Quitting Roleplay 2. Jason Number 1 is pretty obvious, she is the reason the genre became popular on UA-cam in the first place. The second she decided to not finish Season 3 of Diaries is when everything went downhill. She had the time and resources to do it, but instead, she wasted it on side projects like My Inner Demons, Mermaids Tale, the one that ripped off Phoenix Drop High and another series I forget the name of (the one where Laurence returns) as well as other filler series. I personally believe her focuses should have been on MyStreet, Phoenix Drop High and Diaries. Instead, she blamed COVID, dumped most of the cast for new people and did a load of filler series before leaving Roleplay overall. Her second downfall was Jason. Looking back, he is/was a toxic husband. First, he was famous for being weirdly protective of Jess' character. He is the reason Aph had to ALWAYS end up with Aaron in every single series that they were in together. This forced storyline is what killed Diaries. There is also the drama that Jason tried to cause with AviatorGaming, insulting the series he created and other stuff. Oh, we also then eventually realised that Jason very likely groomed Jess online when she was like 14 and he was 18+. Jess did say her parents didn't like him at first, it makes sense now and I don't blame them. Basically, Aphmau got ruined by stupid decisions. (P.S. Looking back at it, Laurence was definitely my gay awakening along with Ein and Kai, why are they Hot-)

It’s entertaining, really good music at times, the animation and art are amazing and only gets better as the series progresses. That’s it. The writing gets worse and worse, it’s not miraculous ladybug type of writing but falls deeply into fanfic style of storytelling, very self servicy ship centered writing :/

You want the "Why" of why people like J? It's because, and I know I'm not speaking for everyone, but... Would.

I feel like outside of just acting like a jerk and picking on N, J is not really that hateable, she’s a likable jerk

I still liked J before episode 8, but I honestly think my favorite version of her was in the finale. It just showed so much about her character, even if a lot of salty fans didn’t realize it. Also, she was super badass that episode, and I’m a sucker for a badass character.

We know it wont happen but we still want it

That blooper reel at the end gave me flashbacks to when I voiced lines for your vids before, only yours was filled with less rage and frustration XD

To add on to what people have said already about J being popular with the masochistic peeps (cue 'id just love the kinda woman who'd straight up kill me' copypasta🙃).....a decent number of the fandom headcanon's J as being strongly 'into' humans (and possibly even 'submissive' to them), based purely on her interactions with them in the series....and hence, the ultimate drone for shipping with human characters (cue the peak Jessa ship fanart😂)

J functions as a good straight man to the rest of the erratic cast. She is one of the only characters that takes themselves somewhat seriously, and her hard exterior, makes her moments of vulnerability more interesting. She has the corporate suck up personality which is fun ro watch. J also gives other members of the cast shit for all the crap they pull, which with how annoying the main cast can be sometimes, is quite cathartic. Plus underdog.
