Great video. Would have liked to see something about highback lean. My rear foot highback lean is set more forward/closed than front foot as it forces me into a slightly lower/more flexed position, giving me the feeling of extra control and aggressiveness with the back of my board. But does it really? Any tips?

Hi Sir, your video is really helpful. Actually I plan to snow mountain next week for one week in Australia. I had bought a second hand snowboard with a XL size Union bindings. I find out that my boots size 11 sit slightly back on heel side ! I had try to adjust one gap forward from the bindings but it looks like slightly forward on toe side ! How should I adjust now or should I change the bindings ? Your help is my best appreciation, thank you.

question, I have a size 11 burton moto boots and burton missions, I feel like the size large binding fits the boot better but I cant get the large centered correctly it is too much heel. I mounted a medium on the bard and adjusted the gas pedal and it seems to be perfect with the centering. So my question is should I be in a size med or large binding ?

  • @czondag
    @czondag 3 роки тому

Some say the width stand of the binding should be the same as the height of your knees to the ground when sitting down, so you will get a perfect triangle. Is this a good reference?

I have a question if I may ask it! I was riding yesterday but there was a problem! I felt very unbalanced. When I turn on my heel edge I fall over sometimes or the board slips out from under me. I was wondering if it could be my stance? Or is it the way I'm riding? If you could give me some feedback it would be greatly appreciated? Please and Thank you.

Question, Why are you moving the back binding only? do you keep the front binding on the reference point or change it?

I have a 155cm Solomon Huck Knife i just got. only ridden it a couple times but its hard to get used to since my previous board was a flexible jibbing board, the Rome Artifact. Anyways, I have a 9 1/2 burton boot and LG Burton Maltiva Bindings. My Concern is that the bindings may be too big for my foot size? Also, know board heights are supposed to be up at your chin and mine is more at my nose.

Maybe Burton re-flex it's not the best example for boards with inserts. They don't have the width adjustment once you line them up with the inserts so so you only get whatever stance the inserts will give you.

If you don't have burton bindings you don't have a hole to see the width indicators. And it is less easy

Hello! I have a "special" issue, I've been riding for almost 20 years, but after buying a new set of bindings I ran into a problem, every time I jump straight airs I lean on heel edge and fall sometimes, and frontside spins feel weird, what could be wrong? Boots are perfectly centered, stance is +18 -9 and minimal angles at hi-backs... width is just above 21,5 in for 178 cm of height

    Hey,
I have a question that might get chewed up. Im at the stage where im practicing butters and riding switch.
My friends and i focus mainly on finding good runs, side hits. Basically we play around alot.
I've been looking for support on riding 0 in the front, and ducked out in the back (-12 mby).
I ride +15/-12 duck atm, but at soon as i gain speed i keep pressing my front foot inward in the boot. I dont get alot of adjustment, but the little i get (basically moving my foot in the boot) makes me feel "comfident" in the carve im about to do.
Trying to make sense here but i realize it might be hard to follow.
Basically my question is, am i dumb if i go for 0 in the front and -12 in the back ?

As a beginner, this may not help but I believe it comes down somewhat to your personal anatomy.
If your foot feels more comfortable/less painful in a 0 front then go for it. It wouldn't hurt to test it out for a few runs and see
