I've had the first quote happen to me. I was so results oriented that when my skill began to plateau I lost all my drive to draw. It was an arduous process that only made me disappointed in myself. Since starting again my mentality has simply been to draw things I enjoy drawing and that has gotten me to draw more and enjoy drawing more. Go easy on yourself

I was expecting to see just a comfy drawing stream with some cute drawings or doodles but instead it got quite educational with some good advice ... not just for drawing. And we got away with all of it without paying the 549.99

This was super cozy! Ina is very wise, and watching you both draw got me itching to break out the pencil again. If I might offer some feedback, please don't worry so much about making mistakes on stream, Mumei. Your sketch of Ina really did look very good and it felt a bit like you were afraid to continue with it. Something that works for me is to push forward and complete the stage I'm working on regardless of mistakes (sketch, lineart, flats, etc) before going back to make corrections later, kind of like doing a rough draft of an essay and editing it after the fact. I find if I try to draw and edit at the same time my brain gets locked up and I can't continue. Don't know if that applies to you, but I wanted to share in case it was helpful. It would certainly be nice if we could all be like Ina and get it right the first time but that only comes with a lot of practice, and I think it's reasonable to say that nobody expects that of you. At any rate, thanks for the stream and good luck finishing your sketch!

I've had the first quote happen to me. I was so results oriented that when my skill began to plateau I lost all my drive to draw. It was an arduous process that only made me disappointed in myself. Since starting again my mentality has simply been to draw things I enjoy drawing and that has gotten me to draw more and enjoy drawing more. Go easy on yourself

Thanks for the Mumeizing stream, I've been looking forward to this day to come for a long time now, as Mumei and Ina are my 2 favorite HoloEN members! This drawing collab ended up being everything I thought it would be and so much more. It's really kind that Ina teaches the other members like Bae and now Mumei as well different drawing techniques, just from observing her during her streams I've been able to learn so much about art in my 2 years watching Hololive. Mumei, I think you need to have a little more confidence in your ability, pretty much all your attempts at the line art and the colour looked REALLY good! There will always be things to improve, no matter how good you are, so you might as well go for it and see where it takes you!

I knew from the moment I heard about it that I would love this collab but I didn't expect how much. I wasn't expecting to have such a wonderfully long section of Ina-sensei teaching Mumei, and it's made me realize I haven't watched nearly enough of Ina's art streams.

This was super cozy! Ina is very wise, and watching you both draw got me itching to break out the pencil again. If I might offer some feedback, please don't worry so much about making mistakes on stream, Mumei. Your sketch of Ina really did look very good and it felt a bit like you were afraid to continue with it. Something that works for me is to push forward and complete the stage I'm working on regardless of mistakes (sketch, lineart, flats, etc) before going back to make corrections later, kind of like doing a rough draft of an essay and editing it after the fact. I find if I try to draw and edit at the same time my brain gets locked up and I can't continue.
Don't know if that applies to you, but I wanted to share in case it was helpful.
It would certainly be nice if we could all be like Ina and get it right the first time but that only comes with a lot of practice, and I think it's reasonable to say that nobody expects that of you. At any rate, thanks for the stream and good luck finishing your sketch!

Ina's application of space(?) & perspective is just insane to me. Her explanation of the frills was surprisingly easy to follow, but it's definitely not something I could've visualized without her actually drawing it.
