One of your videos was with the EVO team and their Gladiator build, that video just made my life more $$$. I'm waiting to hear back from the EVO team so that I can start my journey on this new Jeep life. I have never owned a Jeep, but I have always wanted one. Well 4 weeks ago I made that happen buy buying also a white Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Last week I got the paint protected by Ceramic Pro and next week I had already scheduled to get the bed of it sprayed with Line-X Premium. This current video could not have come a better time and just solidifies my choices. THANK YOU for the great content and keep it coming. I have a ton of things lined up for my Gladiator also.

@@wayalife that's a hard worker right there. Prepping was always the longest part but if you take your time it pays off. It looks like that was a paint/baking booth he sprayed in. We had one at the autobody when I use to do autobody work.

Congratulations to you and thank you. I think you'll be very happy having this done and really, the cost isn't a whole lot different than if you had gotten this done from the factory. If anything, it's less unless you get the optional top coat and that's not even offered at the factory.
They did it to you too. I had my 2016 F150 protected by LineX. They don’t spray the area I call the “tailgate jamb”. It’s the bottom of the tailgate and the vertical area just below the bed. My LineX dealer referred to it as the “contractors cut”. But they didn’t tell me until after I returned to the shop to inquire about having this “jamb” area coated. For the life of me, I can’t understand why this is not automatic??? Pennies in extra material. The first time I used the bed after having the bed lined, a dolly wheel dropped into the jamb area and heavily scratched both the tailgate and truck body. This is how I noticed it wasn’t coated... too little too late.
@@wayalife On August 9th in India Jeep had released the new Wrangler JL but I was in full upset , they had only launched the base trim with some additional features and when they are testing they bought the 2 door and 4 door RUBICON's and in the media also hyped it by spreading the rumors that Jeep Wrangler will also be available in MOAB edition with all the features which are available in RUBICON how can it be possible , RUBICON is the ultimate and how the foolish media misleaded it . Such a huge disappointment and I cannot bear the pain that the most famous iconic off-road vehicle which is my favorite ( Jeep Wrangler ) around the globe doesn't even sold 2 in digit number in India it makes me feel sad 😢 and I can't even think about to buy one because of the huge price tag 😭 because it's a CBU ( Completely Built Unit ) And It Costs almost 80 Lakhs ( near to 1 crore ) rupees in Indian currency 😢😭
Note now that it's been bedlined the rubber stoppers will stick out a bit farther causing you to have to slam the tail gate closed tighter. Otherwise it will open itself while driving.
That came out great! Have you ever considered getting them to do the whole Jeep? The exterior with some color? I'm thinking about doing their Premium exterior coating which goes on thinner than the bed liner and should stand up to the trail pin-striping, etc. better than paint. Only problem is that I'm gonna have to remove my bumpers, winch, tire carrier, corner armor, snorkel and maybe fenders too myself (probably)...

Huh, wonder if leaving the rails off and bed open was a requirement for the premium. I just did the basic line-x for my JT since I put in the decked system and they reinstalled the rails and had the bed closed when I went to pick it up that day.
jeep did the spray in liner. It looks like the used undercoating and is going has to be redone. I don't know how the are going to get the tacky stuff out of the bed.

We prefer Bed Matt vs. plastic one piece or spray in bed liners. Why? Over time, the spray in cracks and fades while the one piece causes problems with the ribs on the floor...things slide around.

@@wayalife thanks for the quick response! I’m up here in the rust belt where they salt the hell out of the roads so a lot of people are doing it. My biggest concern is spraying over bolts and wire connectors. It’s a tough decision. Love the channel content btw!
It's a legit concern and one I'm glad I don't have to deal with. Still, I would look into other products to treat the underside of your Jeep as undercoating can trap salt and make things worse. Of course, bolts and wires can be a real issue too.

never understood why keeping it shiny was worth the extra money. mines always covered in muddy tire tracks, scrap wood, bullet casings, bunch of jet ski equipment, along with some trash from ammunition boxes and beer cans and such...i shoot a lot i have my own range. i do clean it out a couple times a summer but it just gets messed up soon again. linex is good only had to bring it back once it started to chip on my tailgate

The factory liner is a $500 option. Linex @ $600 with a lifetime warranty sounds like a good deal to me.
Actually, the LINE-X was only $450 and the optional Premium UV Top Coat was $150. Of course, this did come with the lifetime warranty :)
Line x around here charges 750 without tax for premium. Each location is different

Measurably thick. I have Raptor and Herculined Jeep tubs in the past and tried hard to lay it on thick and this was still thicker.

What lift are you leaning towards? Thoughts on Evo 4.5?
That would be a great lift if you're going to be running 37's.

Nah, I like a carpeted interior especially being that they're made with heat shielding in key areas. They also help to dampen noise.

What is the difference between LINE-X and factory liner?
Actually, I'm pretty sure that factory uses LINE-X but it doesn't come with the Premium Top Coat like what we had done.

There's nothing to understand. Some people like a clean finish and clearly it doesn't matter to you :)
Can line-x be used as an anti-rust coating?
If it's being applied to a new surface, I would think it could be helpful. If the surface is already rusted, it would only make things worse.

I personally would recommend that you clean up the rust and treat it with something like POR15 first and then Line-X over it.
