I’m restoring a 1995 F-150 and will be doing the LineX bedliner on it. I’m so excited!

I would definitely recommend Line-X. I had it put on my 2002 Dodge Dakota back in 03 after I bought it. I've hauled routine house items like yard waste to the dump, 2 couches, 3 fridges. And when my cousin had to downsize is company 3 times by moving pallets weighting around 3,000 lbs. each loaded with fasteners. Then helping him this year when he moved to a bigger warehouse when is business got better. The guy that ran that location told me that I could go head and use it. Also, I notice that he forgot to reinstall the 2 cargo hooks in the back of the bed which he did not spray. He didn't spray them just in case I had to change them if they got damaged. he knocked down $200 from the job because of that. And I just got the 2 price quotes 1 for under the bed sides, and 1 for over the bed sides. I went with the over the bed side to cover and protect the top of the bed sides. And it still looks like the day it came out of the Line-X place.

Good thought provoking review! I had a Line-X bed-liner sprayed in my 2015 truck in 2016 and had a folding cover on the bed for protection from elements and thieves...after 5 years of being covered, it was dusty looking like yours is in this video. I went to a local car wash (you need the pressure, a garden hose won't do it) and hit the bed for about 5 minutes with the pressured water and it looked as good as new. Honestly, the Line-X place I went to said most local dealerships send their trucks to his business for the liner and then the dealer stands behind it as factory.

You lost me at "It's at least 1/4 inch thick". Specs are 120 mil which equates to 1/8th thick on the floor. Your factory liner is prepped around the edges and the edges only. That Line-X is prepped 100% of the surface. I can remove a factory liner in about 2 hours... I can remove a Rhino or Line-x typically in 8-12 hours. That Line-x liner is much much much better than any factory liner.

This guy doesn’t know anything about the factory bedliners I’ve been doing spray on bedliners for 36 yrs they do not prep the factory bedliners if u get a knife cut both edges of factory bedliners start lifting it up and it just peels up so easy if u go to a business that does bedliners they prep the truck then try cutting the bedliner and peel it and it doesn’t come up that easy and when it gauges or peels if u go back to dealership they won’t take it back to the factory then u get the run about to get it fixed I’ve fixed so many factory bedliners the peel out so easy

I work for one of GMs tier 1 spray on company as a repair man. And I can tell ya we wouldn't pass the truck on the left , the lines on the pillars are croocked and not straight. We tape/mask them with a straight wire and tape them making them for visually appealing. But it's still a good liner from linex . I guess working at the place made me a snob or at least I can tell details lol. I'm glad your happy with either or and hope this little comment doesn't make it stand out too much. Just a small detail that I noticed for working at my job . Especially as a repair man. I would come in and redo the line and patch them. And if the patch is no good then I would respray the truck again. Making it a little thicker ( it's good for customer a thicker liner just last longer and no chance of poking through bad for us cause we would have to remask the truck and materials and man power to do it) hehehe

All the high end liners use polyurea which requires $50,000 equipment (to start with) just to spray cuz it needs 3000 PSI and 200 degree. Well worth it factory or Line-X

Yes, for some dumb reason when I put the Duramax engine in my 2024, it took out my bedliner. I have the 120v and the led bed lights.
In the end I’m glad I didn’t get the factory, because I found out the factory has the tailgate plastic piece on it. I’ll be scrapping that and getting the bed and tailgate line-x coated.

6 in 1...half dozen in the other. The biggest variable here is some assclown applying it incorrectly or overspray or who knows what. I'd never take delivery of a new rig without a factory bedliner. But I'd go line-x for sure on a used truck that had no bedliner. Just be done with it from the factory.

I have a 2016 Ford F150 that has bed lights. I got the dealer to throw in spray in Bed liner and a divider. They had it scheduled for me to take it to Steve vans locally that does line X. They did a great job putting it on. It’s still in good shape. Have had pallets loaded in my truck. It cost me nothing and would have it done on any future trucks

Line-x owns the OEM liner company its called UL Ultimate Linings. The OEM bed liner I found is better then the Line-x the difference and all that matters in most liners is how think the liner is sprayed. The OEM liners are sprayed by a robot in Michigan and tend to be sprayed thin when sprayed at minimum of 6 passes will out do regular line-x . I have professionally sprayed both for over 20 years.

at most LINE-X franchises you do have to ask for it to be sprayed down the back, or what is called a contractor cut. Most customers do not like the "reveal" of the product from the back.
