Stephen's intro and explanation as to the aftermath wraps up everything nicely about this saga. He did lose his contract with Ceric Artman, but in the end he is now free and possibly garnered a lot of admiration from the rest of the South Park community.

First time I watched this episode was in latin american Spanish dub and even then, when those final lines where spoken I lost it completely 😂 A side note: I mean, even though the latino dub has a lot of inconsistencies, the effort they put in this particular episode helped convey the original sentiment of the entire story, dialog and interactions (alas in its own localized way). So I feel like I can make a clear mirror of both dubs (original and latino) in my mind at least for this episode and I laugh equally loud at both versions of it 😂

I know the ending is cliché ("it was all a dream" or "it was just a story") but since this is a story that only Cartman would come up with, this makes perfect sense.
I am a devout Christian, and I absolutely love this episode. 100% in my top 5 favorite South Park episodes and probably my favorite Christmas special of all time.

My first sip of alcohol was the wine made by my grandpa, and believe me no fancy wine will ever be better than that. Then i remember when i went with my friend to fetch his grandpa's wine from the cellar, 2 10 year olds alone with several barrels of wine!
2:50 this shows there is at least somewhat good in those people. Not wanting to ruin his carreer over this and it kinda implies they realised the south park community cares too deeply to accept being used just for a content farm.

Loved the way they were able to bring back the WCC in the “Imaginationland” trilogy a few years later… that was really clever. And (while it didn’t make sense canonically) they made for one hell of a fun and tough boss fight in “The Fractured But Whole”
Dude. I always felt that this episode IS objectively and legitimately the most "offensive", disturbing, and just wtf, to the largest amount of people. Like foundationally offensive to most of the western world religious or otherwise. I'd wager nearly every, single, person who saw this went, at least: Dude...!? WTF...!?
