1:28 Finally, a piano piece with a chord to highlight the capabilities of my gargantuan 8-fingered right hand.
Hahaha. That's just the way it rendered in the program. It means you play all those notes with the sustain pedal.
To all the comments saying it's off:
It's not off, it's perfect! Majoras mask has some unusual music scales that you won't hear in the viral music you're used to. But this video is just like the original song.
Correct.
This track is actually completely on point. There are exactly zero incorrect notes in here at all. In fact, it's the only one on UA-cam I can find that doesn't have the incorrect arpeggios. People don't know what they're on about.
the skullkid's theme on its own is a mindfuck. basically oboe with ALL accidentals.
The whole game has a depressing theme to it, and I think that's conveyed by the music. And there is no song in the world, not just Zelda, but the world, that I have heard that makes me more bummed out than Oath to Order. I have to mute my TV every time I beat a level because I cannot listen to that song to this day.
Majora's mask moon
Moon
part of what might make it seem off is probably just from translating background vocal sounds into piano as well
Who said this was off? This sound perfect! Great job! Cant wait to sit down and learn it :D
It's a more simplified version. Not all of the notes are in here
@@NoenMar i don't think so. After 6 years I can safely say that this isn't arranged whatsoever and the uploader just shoved a midi files dug straight out of the game files into Synthesia.
The opening is quite muddy on the piano, and I personally would never pick those voicings for the harmony. But different virtual instruments were originally playing the midi data, so the muddiness is just a... communication error haha.
I'm sure there are plenty of piano arrangements by Keyboardists that don't follow the midi perfectly.
@@dangelobenjamin ur face is muddy on the piano
Sounds off? Sounds spot on to me. Great job.
Perfect. Typically people cant hear the more advanced jazz chords but you transcribed it perfectly
most beautiful synthesia ever.;'D I can t stop to listen it!
nostalgia
How is this off...? This is completely accurate to the original, and while I can't play any instruments, I do have OCD, and with that comes OCD like tonal memory. I can say sir, that this is an accurate representation of how the song would sound if played on a piano.
This is beyond awesome…. but also sad, and tragic, at the same time. It’s like when you are going through terrible grief… and have finally reached acceptance, and can move on.
Wow! Great video, man! Good on ya for including the note's names!
¡¡¡La canción perfecta para el año nuevo!!!
Great job dude, long live the beautiful music of legend of Zelda
Glad you enjoy it!
HOLY MOLY! I LEARNED IT! it's super easy and I'm playing this song everyday X3

+JayTheMiner

hats off to you. could you add an ocarina sound to overlap? it would make this even more epic
WOAH! MY FAVORITE OCARINA THEME! REALLY GOOD JOB!
When Zelda said "it's master swordin' time" before pulling the master sword i really felt that
Great stuff, hope to hear more :)
My favorite part is from 0:46 to 1:07

Majora's Mask is one of my favorite Zelda games if not my favorite... but that doesnt mean I am an expert on it... can someone remind me where does this song play in the game...?
+OriginalKarasu Near the end when you're calling the giants to hold the moon
+OriginalKarasu it also plays whenever you save a giant from a dungeon boss
+The Idyits Well that's suspenseful
Logans Lucky Cluckers Tanks m8
The Idyits
scary... XD
Honestly, I might be half deaf, but I didn't here the ocarina notes that Link learns? Can someone tell me if I'm right or wrong?
The first sentence should have a period, not a question mark
No, they're in there. It's the very first part of the song.

Its off, thats the song when the moon falls
No no that’s oath to order, when the moons falling and you call the giants to stop it.
The song when the moon falls is a version of oath to order...
it is great, but it does seem a bit off. better than me anyways lol. good job.
It ain't off...
Sounds way off...
It's completely accurate. Check your Hearing bro
legitimately way off
Skutieos7 Not even close to off. If you had an ear for music, you would understand.
its not
This is completely accurate dude.. What are you smoking?
I can barely play this. Wish my fingers were a bit longer lol
You need to move your right hand around a lot!
I'm currently learning to play this on my keyboard (thanks to this video!)... But what's really ironic is that my keyboard has ONE, just ONE key too little to play that last high pitch note xD! my keyboard literally has the key before it. grrr!
Lol, I can actually play it all now, from playing other songs and helping my hand movements.
+Mornedil can't you just go an octave higher? Or is it not an electronic one?
