Here's the link to the sheets: musescore.com/...
Art is by me btw. x)

Learn to play with Synthesia!
I created a MIDI file that you can use with Synthesia to learn to play this song. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to preserve the sustain pedal information, so you'll still have to figure that out on your own, but otherwise, all the note data is there.
MIDI File: www.mediafire....
(Hint: Synthesia 8.5 is free!)
Can’t believe this person made all these amazing piano covers and then just disappeared from the internet…
I think about this all the time. Hope they're alright
same yeah, oh shit you got a big channel congrats.@@OzTalksHW
All we can do is hope for the best, maybe one day he’ll come back, drop another phenomenal arrangement and disappear for another eight years
Hope is good, we need that.
Couldn’t agree more, I come back to this video a few times a year to cheer me up.
It's been 9 years since the release of this masterpiece.
Thanks Mark of Two, this was the music piece i performed for my audition into music school in 2016 and i still love it as the same day i found it and listened to it for the first time.
It was also the song i played the most when i was going through a rough spot in life.
I hope you're doing ok, mysterious man that dropped a banger then disappeared leaving us wanting for more.
You’ve met with a fantastic version of an incredible song, haven’t you?
Yes.
veerrrrrrrry noich !!! u gave lots of lols and r so right
Well done ;)
🙏🏻
When playing this game I would go into the Observatory and just hang out there listening to this music and looking at the colors
Jibb's Compilations it's definitely a bit more somber to idle your time in a quiet place while Termina is doomed.
But wouldn't you rather spend your time doing something you love, anyways?
This still makes me cry it’s so beautiful
God bless Mark of Two been a fan for 9 years and I can't even describe the hardships this music has gotten me through. Hope this guy is doing ok and knows about the joy he's spread to so many people.
I'm glad my music has been helpful to you. It's always a pleasure to hear how much meaning people find in my music. I'm doing well thankfully, but music has taken a back seat in my life, so I have not been writing music these past few years. Maybe one day I'll get back to it, but I don't know when that will happen.
@@MarkOfTwo We will be here if you ever get back into it ❤️❤️❤️
@@cheezeman727 I'll be sure to use this channel if I do. :)
I've come here to listen to this literally dozens (hundreds?) of times over the years. It's so perfect, thank you.
Is incredible how the music (and The Legend of Zelda) conect the world and every people. I'm from Colombia and I readed the comment to the frenchman, and It's extremely heart wrenching. Congratulations, and thank you so much for that. (I'm sorrry, but my english is terrible too hahaha)
Your english is not so bad ~ Another frenchman
Hello, Im from the united kingdom. Good to know there are zelda fans all around the world
Hi from France ! Looks like everybody around the world loves the legend of zelda... so touching
Spaniard right here. It's wonderful indeed. :)

Found this through a Zelda music compilation and just had to look this up to drop a like. Absolutely stunning performance
Same! This song actually stood out so much when I was studying I couldn’t help but drop everything to get here
Same here, I was doing some online test and stopped everything when I realized I was crying a lot.
Same here!, I was studying numbers with a Zelda compilation and this just blew my unconscious. And I’m not into commenting
This always calms me when I have trouble sleeping....
Thank you so much for making this 💗
I’ve been listening to this cover for years and it never fails to fill me with emotion. I cannot thank you enough for creating this piece.
It's funny, I've known this song for years and almost every time life beats me to the dirt I grab a beer and listen to it under the night sky.
Thank you for this song, if anything it has helped me a lot.
the best cover. i wish someday you can write beautiful music like this again.
God there’s something so calming and nostalgic about this. It’s like looking back at a memory (it’s a little sad but makes you happy ya know). Truly just beautiful.
A tune that brings about a sense of tranquility that stills the mind & allows it to rest peacefully.
We all really hope this person is okay we hope they are still breathing and making music. We hope one day they will come back
Just got a new computer, new library, new start, and this is the first song I put in my music library. Cheers and keep up the awesome work.
Excellent choice of piece, and excellent piano cover. 10/10 would listen for 3 hours straight again
I played this at a recital and it's my favorite piece I've performed
here i am, years after this was made, still listening to it. every time i listen i have an emotional feeling wash over me
thanks so much!!
After years, this arrangement and the arrangement for the Song of Healing remain my two favorite piano pieces I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.
I just discovered this master piece, it's ending right now, leaving me with the absolute certainty that I will come back to this song again and again in the future.
I hear you, and I feel the music inside of me.
I even feel like crying but happy.
Thank you for brightening my birthday.
I love the piano drop when the tempo picks up when you're actually in the observatory ah the goosebumps this gave me
So happy you're back! Love this one :)
The tiny Sonata of awakening quote at 3:04 gets me every time. Just so tasteful and beautiful.
Such a beautiful rendition of this song, unbelievable I hadn't commented on this three years ago when I first laid ears on it. Thank you so much for this!
simply thanks for soothin my soul every time i've listened to your songs durin 5 years
Nostalgia to my ears
It's beyond beautiful.
Just now found you and have listened to every one of your songs. Subscribed! These are wonderful!
Llegó el día en que me perdí, traté de encontrar al artífice de esta belleza, pero jamás lo encontré. Pierdanse conmigo y jamás encuentren la verdad.
Glad to see you are still making music. UA-cam brought me back your way despite me not subscribing. Not making that mistake again.
Even if you don't upload again... please, play.. i can tell that playing music heals your soul the way nothing else can...
Beautiful. Well done, its like...very complex in its simplicity. Absolutely beautiful. Heart touching piece I tell you, and my favorite melody from the Zelda series
Right click on the screen of the video to loop the song.
I can't stop listening, amazingly done.
Amazing cover!!
This deserves to be in breath of the wild
Best Astral Observatory cover ever.
Keep making music like this man! I love all of it, and if it was google play I would buy all these songs!:
Am I the only one that led a tear go I hope so, that is how beatiful this is 👍😢😄
All of the songs you play are from one of my all time favorite games :P Great job!
Is it just me, or does this version of this song just wash you over with so many mixed emotions?
your music is so beautiful! you have such great talent, can't wait to hear more stuff from you in the future!
i love your version.... its just awesome...
I've started my journey to learn this song. I have a foundation in piano but nothing crazy. Just going measure by measure. I was able to use the midi file to make sheet music, so that's how I'm learning it.
Beautiful
Hmmm.. Mark you should definitely try doing a cover of the music that plays in the shops in ocarina of time xD
Dear Sakurai you're game remains incomplete without this one
Will this song ever be put on Spotify?
I don't think so, according to OP's answers to comments. On the other hand, you can add random music to your spotify via your PC by downloading them then uploading them on your spotify. Only you will be able to listen to it but that's good enough.
You can find plenty of tutorials on how to do it by typing something like "add mp3 to spotify" on google.
@@SlyManVideos thank you
first seven seconds gave me chills??1??? AA
This is amazing.
Great cover... you got the feeling of the original song!
I miss your covers. I know it takes time to make such master pieces. I just want you to play again for us.
This is amazing, really.
Perfect music for riding your horse around the vast world of Breath of the Wild 😊
Eventhough I'd like this as a lulluby I wouldn't mind waking up to this
as soon as ther will be a sheet I'll print and learn it! for the moment let's learn the other 3
beautiful back in the days when games had music that ppl could connect with even in todays world it sucks because we wont ever experience such feelings with games anymore :(
Beautiful cover, thank you!
very beautiful!
I got a heart attack when i saw the upload.
Now I am enjoying one of my favorite zelda songs ever.
Amazing work!
This is not a Zelda song nor remix
@@somethingthatisalive5741 sure its totally not based on astral observatory or anything
10/10 this is godly n this is part of the reason y i am lrnin piano n play it the way i do
Deep feelings.... thank you brother ... or sister... got a mutual love for this
This feeling....😌
I appreciate this. Good work.
I love this song so much it's my ringtone, but I would love to see some sheet music if you can please!
Please make more music
Could you do a cover of Dragon Roost Island?
love it
I want to see more from you! I love your content

Sinta!
I'm so late but have to say that this cover is amazing.
Hope you're doing ok
I'm doing quite well! I have unfortunately not been writing music in recent years, but I'm well otherwise. I appreciate the concern. :)
I'm glad you are fine ! Thank you for what you did, hope the will (or time) to write would come back.
When someone puts love into creating a song, you can feel it. This, is one of those songs
couldn't agree more :))
Same
I couldn’t agree more with you on that
WoW
I felt it too
hey, man.
I've read some of the comments so I understand that you apparently got invested in life, making time for other things than music. I'm really really glad for you and I hope everything goes well for you.
On the other hand, I also want to thank you for this amazing piece of work right here. Astral Observatory has always had this strange nostalgic feeling for me. When I was a kid, I could spend hours just standing in the observatory in MM, just to take in this amazing melody. The thing is, you took it and transformed it from a mere synthetic sound loop to an actual amazing piece for piano. Right now, this has to be my favorite zelda rendition of all time. I stumbled onto this video recently when I was in need of healing and closure and your music really helped me.
Man, just know that you're really talented; your work has the power to do all sort of things to people. Thanks again.
(Also I hate you for not having released more Zelda reworks.
❤ spot on.
It's been 4 year my good friend...
I truly hope everything is going good on your side of things.
More beautiful songs would be cool :p ! Hope you haven't lost your interest in music because your skills are worth it !
Same! I miss his music.
@@TheWhiteFoxTruth Yes! And, when i hear this song, i remember it's been 4 years and get worry about him
I got the goosebumps at hearing this interpretation. Extraordinary.
@@victorbatalha1424 dont worry about him/her. they only have a few videos and some are years apart. they arent a very active uploader so lets not assume the worst.
If you ever read this comment, I hope you know how much joy and love and support you've given me over many difficult times in my life with this. Very beautifully presented very much enjoyed and thank you.
You think I'm kidding but I actually might account for like 400 views because I freaking love this. I listen to this song when I'm stressed or when I can't fall asleep. This really is amazing. It captures so many emotions and I love it and I'm anxiously awaiting your next song!! Keep doing what your doing! I love all of it! You can do no wrong!
Zach McIntyre I love listening to this when I have troubles falling asleep and when I stargaze, like you said, it captures so many emotions like the way a star catches your eye. I love it.
I feel you. It’s very touching. Somehow I listen to this even when I’m at the gym.
Nice
I felt the same way about his full song of storms cover, listening to it to soothe my soul, all the time.
I just discovered this one so it'll definitely be added to my keep calm playlist!
@@NewEdge04GT while working out, really? I could imagine for when I'm stretching this song would help relax me.. but for reps...I don't think it would help me push, haha
If there was a 24 hour version, I’d listen to it twice a day
Reverse song of time
hol' up
Lol you can't do that a day only has 24 hours so if there was a 24 hour version you would need to listen to it for 48 hours and then that would be 2 days and not 1 so it's impossible for you to listen to it in 1 day 😂
@@haiimcookie he has time premium
Im sure you were just saying that, and i get you on that note. On another note, this song sounds freaky sped up to x2 speed.
I found this cover when I was 15 and I can recall every single instance I put this on in the background as I made vision boards each year since then. I’m turning 24 this year and I come back to this piece yearly as a way to check in and say hello to my past selves- the ones that were heartbroken, angsty, excited, hopeful, and determined- all of them live here with this piece. I remember being so moved by this at 15 and still, to this day, it will never fail to make me teary-eyed. There is so much love and hope that I feel each time I listen to this that is unmatched by almost every other song. The joyful determination in the beginning, the nearly heart-wrenching way that the slower, quieter parts when you play up the octave tug at the heart, the trepidation in the build up, and the euphoria of the payoff in the end will never fail to move me.
So much has changed in my life, as I’m sure yours has, and it has not been change that has happened without grief. So much has changed but, my god, I am so grateful to have always had this piece to come back to again and again. I have envisioned lifetimes in this piece, have grieved and loved to this piece, have shown loved ones new, old, and ones that are no longer in my life this piece and I have described time and again how important this song is to me in an unfathomably foundational way.
This year, I’m practicing to tell people the kind things I keep to myself out of fear that I’ll come across as too much. I figured leaving a comment to thank you for the work you’ve done, one that has given me so much love and joy and hope and comfort throughout the years, is as good of a place to start. So, thank you for your work and the love you so clearly poured into it. I will be listening to this, truly, forever.
that's so cute. we should connect, 27f - love to travel 😊
4 years, wherever you went, I hope things are going good for you, I love all of your songs, you're really talented and I wish you'd come back

I seriously can't get over this song. It's just such an amazing rendition of astral observatory that feels like it's own piece.
You made me cry :'((((
***** holi
ok
Idem
You're not the only one 😭
Mee too, it makes me remember all those mlments with my console, happy.
This song is so Undescribable, uplifting, it makes you feel frustrated that you can't describe this feeling but then you remember the beautiful song playing that whistles through your ears like a soft breeze in a night with the stars filling the sky and you look up but you remember you're in your room ready to go to bed but you can't and you want to listen to the song over and over but you have work/school in the morning and you want to savor the feel of the song so you listen to it one last time, and the feeling will help you stay at peace while you drift off to sleep.
Goodnight :)
Frostbite Dog it's beautiful but it has a air of bittersweetness. Happy and sad at the same time. Makes me wonder about the old man in the observatory. I have a feeling the old man has a tragic backstory that this song reflects
I love this aspect of youtube :) love u guys
Couldn’t describe it better :)
From so much listening to this song my wife and my daughter now love it, they have no idea what the music is about or where it comes from, I just told them it's a video game music that I loved playing as a child, my wife she liked it so much that she said she wants me to dance the song with my daughter's on her 15th birthday party, she is currently 10, I love this music and how it connected my childhood game with my family, thanks for this.
I have the same experience with my children. I'm 33 with an 18 year old and 8 year old. Both love when I play instrumentals from my childhood games. It's crazy how my wife, daughter, son and I are each considered to be in different generations based on our birth years, yet all 4 generations love the same music
Allen Banks you got your son when you were 15??
@@francoidk1380 noope, I got My daugther when I was 22... in My country is a tradition that your daugther at the age of 15 have a Big party like a wedding party but just for her, celebrating the change of child to woman ... :)
Christian Asencio you have a beautiful family and your initial comment brought a tear to my eye. I’m sure you and your daughter will have the time of your lives on that dance floor ❤️ I really wish I could have made more memories similar to that before losing my mother back in March. This song makes me think of her smiling face once more...
This is from the video game, The Legend of Zelda. There are different versions of the game but this particular song can be heard in Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask and (I think) Twilight Princess. These games are very near and dear to many people, myself included. I highly suggest to check it out
ey was wondering what your policy is for people using this track in a video
Raz! Oh man, I'm so sorry for missing this! I'm guessing you were thinking of using it for "The Games I Wish I Never Replayed", huh?.
Well, if the opportunity ever comes by again, I'd be honoured to have one of my little covers in one of your videos.
In general, my policy is just that credit would be appreciated somewhere.
Yeah, that was the thought, but frankly Astral Observatory is one of my all time favorite Zelda songs and your rendition is awesome, so there is a very good chance using it will make sense in a future video. I appreciate the permission! Would you want the credit to link to the channel, the soundcloud, the specific song, all of em?
so actually I think it is a perfect fit for literally my next video lol
I saw the video! It really got my fiancé and I talking about how our relationship to media we used to love has evolved over time.
Thank so much for including my music in there, I didn't know the song would make an appearance, so it was a surreal and exciting moment when I heard it. xD
(P.S. The credit as you have it is perfect!)
I remember finding this song a while back and being blown away by the emotional impact it had on me. I grew up a huge fan of Legend of Zelda and this composition is so enchanting ♡ I'm not in the best position in life at the moment, I dont think anyone really is given our current events. But this lovely number popped up in my suggestions- it gives me hope. If somebody as sullen as myself can find hope, so can you. So to whomever reads this dinky ass comment, have hope ♡
That little nod to Chopin's nocturne ;) Nice touch
TheSecretProvider I thought I recognised that part!
TheSecretProvider Where is it in the piece ? I'm curious and fond of classical music, even tough I don't know a lot about it ^^
Emy M. The nocturne in D-Sharp-Major, if my tone-deaf ears aren't betraying me.
TheSecretProvider ahhh okay it is in there ahaha I thought I was making it up cX
Who else actually cried

I’ve heard this song so many times but I still get emotional.. 😭
Does anyone know if this person is active anywhere else? This is probably my favorite piano compositions and can't stop listening to it. It gives me chills every time and I wanna hear more of their work.
Sorry, but unfortunately, music has taken a back seat in my life for the last few years. I'd like to get back to it one day, but I don't know if or when.

I was JUST about to complain why you stopped making such amazing music but then I saw this.
Unbelievable. I would pay you for this, I'm so stunned and so close to tears every single time I listen to your songs. I love Zelda to pieces and so I love every single song by you to pieces. I swear, please keep up this amazing work, I'm your biggest fan!
This melody is what watching the stars feels like.
So sad I just found out this account, to find he doesn't post anything else here. :(

Still though. Thanks nintendo for making it first : )
