@@ShamrockinMomhile Harry certainly isn't the smartest guy, his intelligence (or lack thereof) isn't what got him sucked into the relationship with Meghan. It was his emotional neediness that did. Happens every day around the globe. Unfortunate.

Meghan saw how weak he was and the web went around him. To do those things about Diana was the lowest of low. Once she had her claws in him and told him how badly the Royal family was treating him and that only she could help him he was done like dirt. Your on your own Harry live with it or get the hell out.

A new meghan rule could be *smell like their mother!*. She definately trapped him and I think she adjusted the rules to suit the man. However - no matter how we laugh and say how dreadful she is I think she probably got a shock when she after had that very quick wedding the real Harry was revealed. You can see from how he talks about women in his book that he isnt the nicest of blokes and certainly no gentleman and wasnt there something in one of their interviews where something was mentioned and Harry said he promised never to do that again? I think instead of rich prince she got an entitled lazy man child, incapable of doing anything for himself and with one of the nastiest tempers she probably had ever seen. On the other hand Harry himself probably got a shock when Markle outshouted and out nastied him! I think Meghan is probably now thinking she should have listened to the *be careful what you wish for* saying!

Every narcissist does the opposite in order to cover up their contempt for their prey. You can see that her "loving" glances are contrived, all for the sake of the cameras and to fool us. It's so overdone that only people with 1 brain cell will buy it.

Remember when Thomas Snr said at high school / college she could identify the man she wanted and just go get him? Well that would’ve been her ‘rules’ era. My theory is that she absorbed & practiced them so well that by the time she got to that poor dud Harry she had such subconscious finesse that she could adapt to the particularities of the chap in question. She’s a master of emotional manipulation, perfect example : she knew H was pretty hooked by the time they had that argument (which we still don’t have all the details of) when she told him that she wouldn’t want that behaviour around her future children. That was the perfect ultimatum to set the hook deeper and send him off to therapy which, in turn, she would ´support’ him through. But really all the therapy was doing is entrenching his dependency and enriching her knowledge of how his mind works. I’m not saying she calculates all this, though she may at times, I think it’s instinctive. It’s just who she is.The Rules may have attracted her budding manipulative character but she’s long outgrown them! She could no doubt teach the authors a great deal!

A friend of mine found this book in a second hand shop and bought it (because i told her about the connection with meghan) and we've had a good laugh about all the 'rules' (and the need for women to play with men apparently) and i 100% believe, that she did them (apart from the last one about the press) in the beginning (i.e. the first meetings). Obviously she dropped all the pretense and rules once she had him on the hook to switch to a form of love-bombing, mirroring and playing to his shadow-self. Once she had the engagement ring there was no need to adhere to the rules anymore. She could claw and adore and stare all she wanted, because he was already hers. I absolutely believe that it wasn't hard for her to get him, using the rules and the knowledge about his mother-complex, especially since he wanted to be married and have kids ever since William found Catherine.

This video should have had this warning: Do not watch whilst sitting in the ‘Quiet Carriage’ on a full commuter train.
I’ve laughed out loud so many times and are now having trouble containing my composure to the annoyance of those quiet passengers around me.
Thanks for a fabulous video Shauna. 😆😂🤣

I started laughing when you said you fogged up your glasses and didn’t stop. She certainly followed the book. She didn’t ask for an audition she got Harry too😂😂😂😂
Do not act possessive - hilarious. She clung on like a leech. Well she definitely followed rule 17. This has been soooo funny Shauna.

It seems to me, If someone just naturally, intuitively follow these rules, because they were confident within themselves, and it wasn’t an act, it would work great. The problem is that when people follow them out of manipulating others, it often backfires at some point.

I loved “The Rules”! It gets a bad rap. I used the rules to pre-qualify healthy men and disqualify narcissists. Before the rules I had no criteria to evaluate and identify good or bad candidates for my affections. Also, the rules apply to us women too. We can’t expect to land a great guy who’s devoted to us unless we are equally devoted. I’ve been married to my “Rules guy” for 21 years!

The engagement interview rang alarm bells for me....'being an American I don't know much about the royal family, I didn't know who he was, I had to ask is he nice?' Well, her blog the tig, from 3 years previous, she mentioned William's wedding to Catherine & how she would be princess she-rah, not forgetting haz was the best man....yeah OK 😅😅

Too much lovey-dovey on the red carpet nauseates me. When affection is over-the-top, it doesn’t appear to be a natural state of mind much like the hand-holding that MM insist upon whenever she and PH are in public.🙄

She didn’t follow the rules. She’s incapable of following but her own.
She tried so hard to playing nice, naive, controlling Harry, over talking, kind, and smart during their dishonest engagement. interview. I can already tell that she’s not showing her true self.
Although, she couldn’t helped but showed her narcissistic personality as her mask slipped from time to time. Then, catch herself by grinning, and holding her excitement because she bagged a beta male who she can easily manipulate and control down the line.
Knowing what we know now…She’s teaching us great lessons about psychology, narcissism, and all the dark shadow of being human.
It’s hard to believe how she threw away a great opportunity to serve and make a difference. Because. She wants to be the center of her own delusions. 😢
