    Dear Computer Tech & More, I suffer from misophonia, I'm looking for a fan that will push enough air to cool the 14900K through AiO but at the same time not make me go crazy. I have practically 99.99% hearing, also the range of 'sound dog repellers' or, as during the examination - the current of switching on coils in a soundproofed room with medical headphones - I hear such sounds and I have 'paper' to prove it :). I was thinking about either the T30 or the NF-A15ULN - I can barely hear the Noctura, but the CFM is low. Hence my question, what can be cooled at around 40dB? Or what has the best ratio: low RPM, low noise and medium-high CFM flow at these settings and is suitable for AiO? Thanks in advance.

      hmm that is a tough question. I recently tested the Super Flower Mega Cool (120 version) it was fairly quiet at while moving a lot of air. It allows you to set for 2000RPM max or up to 3000.
      The LianLi P28 tested well at lower noise levels.
      P12Max with FDB.
      The classic A12x25 still tests well at lower noise levels as well.
      I hope this gives you some ideas where to look. I have some dB spectrum graphs in each of the videos. Hope that help in finding a fans who's noise level and frequency response will work for you.

      @@computer-tech-more Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I have only A12x25 ULN - they (3-pin with slowing down resistor made by Noctua, but nothin fancy) - only this one is very quiet. I have it OUTSIDE on my wifi router, and ISP DOCSIS 3.0 modem (600Mb/s connection) - and from 45cm I cannot hear them. But it moves tiny-bit air in this setting ;( ... that is why I think what to use with the radiator. I like rubber grommet all around the Noctuas. I am not an engeener in fluids, that is why I do not get the 'proper' propeller for 'specific' task: high pressure, vs high flow or low noise. Think about some of the very introductory video about this subject, it may get a lot of attention. Thanks again.

    which would you suggest as an uprgrade for a watercooling rad? T30?

    • @computer-tech-more
      @computer-tech-more  Рік тому +1

      depends on space in your case. the T30 is arguably the best but it is a thicker fan so, depending on what case you have an where you want it to go it may not clear heatsinks on the mobo or ram.
      If it cant fit the Silent Wings Pro 4 or NH-A12X25 are very good options. I have videos reviewing those fans as well.

    What you suggest for case fans?

    • @computer-tech-more
      @computer-tech-more  Рік тому +2

      well it depends a little on your budget. If money is no question. NF-A12x25's or Be Quiet Silent Wings 4 Pro for 120mm fans, for 140's NF-A14's.
      If your on a budget the Arctic P12 did really well for the price.
      I have a bunch of other fan test videos on my channel reviewing these fans please check them out for details.

      @@computer-tech-more this will be my third time replacing fans, I went from Corsair ML to Lian Li SL V2. Now I’m wanting to ditch RGB and go performance. I also have the Arctic Liquid Freezer AIO

      @@haies09 I had the corsair H100X before my current build. I had NF-A12x25 on a 6700k, 4.4Ghz all core, 91watt. reference point. I used NF-A12X25 at 1000RPM and it ran at 65 degrees C.
      So the NF-A12x25 is good at everything but if you need extreme cooling like high RPM regularly the T30 or Silent Wings 4 pro are good.
      Case fans that can work on radiators well. are the Silent wings 4 pro and NF-A12X25.
      For longevity I havent used the Silent wings 4pro regularly enough to comment but the NF-A12x25 are champs. Like Years of running. So that might be your best bet.
