Coming from CA I must agree, less is more. Two grille lights, two fender lights, the lightbar and one pair of rear lights would have been enough. Solid flash patterns only!
This is like a UFO compared to a Caltrans Pickup you know the one with one amber life somewhere near the rear driver side corner of the cab:)

Is there anyway we can please see the message board functioning and whats used to keep it running and also who the manufacture is :)
+Andrew Blanchard We'll see if we can catch up to this Truck to gather some footage of the Display Board. The Board itself is made by Lite Sys Inc. It's powered off the Vehicles Electrical System and uses the large controller shown at the 5:20 time mark.
I noticed they installed the siren speaker behind the front bumper. Was there a special bracket used? @sirennet
Star Cars used an SAK1; Universal "L" Bracket for mounting the SA315P Speaker.
What did an ION Duo accomplish that a single color light head couldn't? It appears as though the duos are only flashing red in this video. Is there a button or a slide switch that activates the other color?
Both the front and side mounted DUO ION's, using separate switches, are set to operate white as steady-burn for work lighting.

6.7l cummins turbo diesel. You don't hear the turbo cause the truck is just idling

+島村博美 The Message Board is a large flip-up fixture that can display Arrows, Messages and Caution Flashing. It lets the Truck have a large and visible/readable display that can be seen at distance and is approved for Interstate use.
@@SIRENNET In California Caltrans has started using the big boards on their pickups! they seem to be used a lot to warn of wrecks a few mile up so drivers can choose to detour or wait in the backup. I did see OR DOT using one for a chain restriction warning this winter om my way to Portland!

Why those this vehicle have reds?
In Oregon, our DOT has Emergency Response Trucks that are used for hazards and emergencies on the state highway's and bi-way's. The Red Lighting and Sirens allow them right of way and the ability to clear traffic for responding.
