I love the video! I just activated the sync function on one of my liberty bars today. However it just alternates from one side to the other. How do you go about changing the sync patterns like you did in your video? I tapped the programming wire (wht/purple) to power when it was activated in sync mode with no changes. 🤷🏽♂️
The one pattern wire will change all of the light functions including the sync patterns. If it is not working, I would confirm by trying to change a normal non synced pair of lights. You can also change the TD/alley patterns, arrow patterns and cruise light brightness with the single pattern wire. It will change anything activated at the time so make sure to only be running what you want to change the pattern on.
Silly question but are the lights on all liberty light bars single color? I ask because I got one of these off a friend and I haven't hooked it up yet but I know for sure I'm not allowed to run red and/or blue. Am I able to go into the programming and do just amber and/or white or would I have to replace a bulb or something?
They made several versions of this bar so they could be different. They typically activate lights in pairs so you do not need to light up the whole bar. Some bars have 2 color lightheads but it needs to be that way from the factory to work like that with out modifying the bar. Lightheads are easy to swap out on these bars so you can replace the head with a different color.
When in standard mode, you change the patterns for pairs of lights. When in the full sync mode you can still activate pairs of heads individually but limited to the pattern it is set on. You can cycle through the sync patterns and it will stay on that every time you power it up until you change it again. You can toggle between sync and non sync mode by applying/removing power to that pin.
I think this is a main feature of the Liberty bars. The pattern change wire will change the patterns in sync mode when active. It will also change the pattern of the halogens, arrow stick and brightness of the cruise lights!
there is a pattern I am wanting to find but I cant figuring it out. right at 3:13 in this video is the pattern I want to stay on when i give it power. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. I have not done a video of the regular Liberty patterns. Since they run in pairs, you could select 4 different patterns to be active at the same time too
Great info! Thanks!
The Liberty, Whelens best lightbar.

Nice. I can change the patterns in my brush truck

@@MsLightbar thanks for your rapid reply!
I have the same lightbar and was wondering if I can have all patterns available to choose or am I limited?

@@MsLightbar i love the patterns you have especially the 1st if ill be able to toggle when inside vehicle ill be very happy.
@@1933FORDV8 Would just need to add a switch. Powering the switch would activate sync mode, non powered would be standard operation mode.
does it have to be a newer bar or can it be a older one also how do you change the sync patterns ?

alright thanks for the info@@MsLightbar

Unfortunately that is not a stand-alone pattern, it is part of a pattern that cycles through a few patterns.
@@MsLightbar is there a way to reprogram the bar to do that or no. thank you for the quick response and help
@@MrShaw08nothing the end user can do, no.
Very cool video, i have the same bar and i believe it is not synced. Do you have a video of the non-sync patterns?
