The Fusion S gets the best fuel mileage; I averaged 41 mpg from Anderson, Indiana, to Sellersburg, Indiana. It used 3.55 gallons of fuel, running at 55 to 65 mph, with the cruise control in use. The S model is a commuter car and it does it well; Titanium is too expensive for what it is..
