I have some alloy wheels that have bubbling and yellowing sections that is likely a clearcoat now that it was mentioned. I will see how they do with the removal process. This was very helpful.
Yes, the clear coat gets old and they will become yellow and damaged. You either can repair the area will wet sanding, polish and spray clear coat. Or you can do the entire wheel just like what I did. You will like the results when you are done!
