The 90s really was a special time in hip hop. Has there ever been a time in hip hop when groups were as good and as diverse as Bone, Wu Tang, OUTKAST, and The Roots? Just to name a handful.
@@manmanopoly8047 She said she doesn't really like rap that much so a song that's mainly about murder doesn't seem like something that would be up her alley. She might like Pac's part ( which is the only reason people want her to react to it) but that's about it.
@ That’s a good point. Although we don’t want her to listen solely for pac verse it’s that she likes bones and 2pac separately so seeing her reaction of them on a song together would be amazing
@@manmanopoly8047 Yeah of course. I just wish Pac and Bone did more songs together that wasn't just this one super thugged out song which I have no problem with but someone who's not really into rap wouldn't gravitate towards.
Love this reaction, Mia! You really captured the emotional depth of ‘Crossroads’-it’s such a powerful track. This song was actually a tribute to Eazy-E, who was a mentor to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony before he passed away. The lyrics reflect their grief and the impact he had on their lives, which is why it hits so hard. It's a perfect example of how rap can tell a real, raw story. I totally get why you’re vibing with Bone Thugs now! Keep reacting to their music; there’s a lot of gems in their discography.
You got me on this one Mia , this is the first song you have reacted to that I have never heard. You took me on a journey today Mia and I love it , thank you😊, and its a great song , deep , but sad , i need to listen to more of their music.
The quintessential three songs for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are the one you just reviewed, "Thuggish Ruggish Bone", and "1st Of The Month". I highly suggest reacting to the music video's for the last two. They're considered Hip-Hop classics.
Was so excited for your reaction to this. My favorite rap group of all time. So good. If you think the song was something I would definitely recommend watching the video to this. I could visualize it the whole time the song was playing. One of my favorite videos of all time
I see you went straight to their number one most popular hit song. I’m happy that you were able to read the lyrics because there’s also a video to this song, but you get caught up in the visuals that you really can’t understand what they’re saying even though the video hits pretty hard also if I’m not mistaken, they made this song after Eazy-E passed away which he is the one that signed them to his record label, Ruthless Records it was a song paying respect to everyone we have lost in our life
YES! I'm mostly a rock guy, but this right here is my favorite. rap. song. ever. They way they take a vocal style that's more rhythmic and took it to a more harmonious level was so genius, and this song hits deeeeeeeep in the soul.

90's Rap was at a different and never to be repeated peak, we had this play back in high school daily (giving away my age LOL); so glad Eminem, Dre and other select rappers got started in this era. Amazing tribute to their mentor Easy-E
Man this song never gets old. I remember when it first came out. You should really look at the OG crossroads from bone thugs. Different sound but dope af
Dub. The Biggie song with Bone was "Notorious Thugs". Ha. Video for this song starts off with people dying then they send off to Heaven. Eazy-E cameo too. Worth the video watch for sure. Next Bone Thugs song with a video lol: "First Of The Month". ❤
This is one of those great songs that managed to catch on with more than its usual and expected audience. It had a bit of an extra something to it, so more music fans took notice. Questions about life after death are prominent among all sorts of people, and I think that played a part in it being a hit. Really, we’ve all lost someone dear to us. But go ahead with your cussing- I kinda like a pretty girl who swears.
How are you doing my dear sweet friend? How are you feeling? Bone Thugs In Harmony are my favorite rap group, and I actually grew up listening to their music. Even though they rap fast, they are rapping harmony and along with the beat too. I love seeing your reactions so much!! I love you!! Happy Holidays!! Stay safe!!
Bone thugs transcends just regular rap. They were n a class of their own. Good solo albums too. Now for my panic at the disco- "death of a bachelor" request. Great reaction!
Lovely reaction!! This is a sad song, when Eazy E died, they went back to the studio and remix this song, dedicated to him. They won a grammy with this song. Looking forward for more reactions. "Its all mo thug" all 5 members.
Mia this song was such a banger when it came out a classic i had it on Cassette tape when it came out fun fact easy e was the one signed them to his record label ruthless record i play this song so my times on my boombox radio i love all music but especially Pop music from the 80's 90's and so on this song was a huge hit another song that was that you can react to is called this are the dayz of our live from the movie soundtrack set it off 😁👍
I love Bone Thugs, they're legends from the golden age of hip hop. There are so many great songs from back in the day that I'm still discovering music even today. Other great hip hop classics you may enjoy are: Black Star - "Respiration Blackalicious-" make you feel that way" 2pac-"are you still down? (ft. John B)", (has to be the John B song, there's two 2pac songs with the same name) A tribe called quest-" electric relaxation" Queen Latifah--"U. N. I. T. Y"
"tha crossroads" and Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" were basically the defining hiphop songs for most kids who grew up in the 90s......those were good times.
"Tha Crossroads" won Bone a Grammy for best rap song in 1997, topped #1 in the billboard pop charts for 9 weeks, and broke The Beatles' 32 year-old record for fastest-rising single.
Hey Mia great reaction to this song. You’re right about this being a sad song. It’s a big song for funerals. Bone was good in the fact that they took Hip Hop and laid their own path. They made their own unique sound.
They're known for making that kind of music thats why they were labeled as a group that worshipped the devil type of stuff but yeah they got lots of songs great songs
Bone has a killer discography if you like the way they sound, because that's how they always sound. They do also have a song with Tupac. The fact that they have a song with Biggie and Pac shows how respected they were, as I'm not aware of anybody else who did major features with both Biggie and Pac.
Great reaction. All of your reactions are good. I'm from Minnesota. More Prince. His version of "Motherless Child" is pretty good (it is kind of a sad song, but has a good beat and a pretty good guitar solo) as is "Let's Go Crazy". More Prince.
The first rapper, Bizzy Bone was abducted as a very young child by a family member and, I think it was a neighbor that had recognized his missing child picture on an episode of America's Most Wanted in the early-mid 80's. This is a great song and they had one of the best Mtv Awards performances with this song. It's worth a watch. This entire album E1999 Eternal was amazing and every song is great. But since you did Notorious Thugs with Biggie, you need to do Tug Luv with 2Pac.
Great reaction Video! This song came out right after their mentor and Boss of Ruthless Records Eazy-E passed away from Aids on March 26, 1995. Eazy-E brought them to the world of Hip Hop and music. 90'S Rap is much better than current rap music by a long shot
