For a reckoning a second into catching the glare
Of a barrel when the bullet's already in the air
Or the chemicals already have your vision impaired
As you try to place the face of that sommelier
When you're gonna win the race
But find the brakes aren't there
On a knife's edge
Placed between the fumes and the flare
The last breath
With a glove in your hair
He's a master of disguise
He's an artist with a knife
We will catch you by surprise
Just a quack and you ignite
There's no faster a demise
Were you happy with your life?
'Cus it didn't have the time
Left to flash before your eyes
Chorus:
No one ever recalls the second
They first come across Forty Seven
Because before you've drawn a breath in
Forty Seven's got you on the floor, forgetting
If you only could pause a second
Can't stall destiny
Halt what's meant to be
No protection we
All get reckoned the
Cause of death will be Forty Seven
Verse 2:
You can tighten violence
By refining the appliance of it
Open up your eyes to find
The sight of an appliance dropping
Right into the bath
Without a chance to even try and stop it
Blur behind the curtain
And it's curtains on your crime biopic
The same as yesterday?
Oh, there's a new chef today
I'm sure he can prepare
That very rare fish in that special way
Also we can't find the guy
We hired just to test your plates
Plus all of your henchmen
Went and left to go investigate
Sound of a coin on the ground
And not a shred of evidence will ever be found
Take a trip to the facilities with no-one around
Ain't it tragic how a man can accidentally drown
You've locked the door
You're in your most secure of quarters when
It's been a little while since your security reported in
A sudden force
And then you'll wish you'd brought your snorkel in
They find your body bobbing in a mortuary of porcelain
Chorus:
No one ever recalls the second
They first come across Forty Seven
Because before you've drawn your weapon
You're already taking that fall from heaven
If you only could pause a second
Can't stall destiny
Halt what's meant to be
No protection we
All get reckoned the
Cause of death will be Forty Seven
Verse 3:
Most people went to bed
And they simply never woke
Take solace in the knowledge
That your death will be bespoke
Hand crafted
All wrapped up in leather as you choke
Every execution executed excellently so
Any single person could be Forty Seven lurking
He could be working in Burger King
Strychnine in your onion rings
Snuffing out your underlings
'Fore you get to wondering
You'll be bloodied
Stuffed into a cupboard in your under-things
It's the last creak
As you stand beneath the chandelier
It's the gas leak
When you candlelit for atmosphere
It's the last beat
As your heart receives the formula
The red streak
When the beam hits your cornea
The mouth feel
Of your unintended last meal
The weapons test
Where you forget to check the blast seals
The sunset
As your body's doing cartwheels
Straight over the edge of a ledge
Or it's the hard steel
Scraping on your ribs
As you shiver and expire
It's the first red fleck
On your impeccable attire
It's your throat torn to shreds
As you're dying to respire
As your fingernails are fighting
Against the tightening of the wire
It's a second to forgive
It's a second to forget
Every second you have lived
For this second of regret
Every second is a gift
So be careful how you spend
'Cus the second that you've met him
Is the second that it ends

the verse where it gose "the sound of a coin on the ground" has given me chills every. single. time.
0:32
barely half a minute in, the first line comes on and you can immediately tell this song is a banger 😍
I love the pace of this. It really captures the mysterious vibe of Agent 47
0:31 When your eight years old and your parents are asking you why you can’t sleep
You just leave me impressed and speechless. This song is a masterpiece
Stupendium also Nice nod to Eminem's Slim Shady lol loved it. That's the second Em reference I've caught. First was in your undertale rap(Also Phenomenal!)
Edit: It's sad when 16(Edit Two 37!?!?) is the most likes I've gotten, comment or video lmao
47 LIKES YES
I want to like this so bad.. but 47
56
make that a full stack of minecraft 64
You can just tell that Stupendium has studied Eminem's rhyme verse by how he writes his verses. Truly a good student.
"He could be in Burger King strickening in your onion rings"
"He could be working at king,Burger King, spitting in your onion rings"
... semi-funny, but the mess you made of it kills it.
@@ThePigeon5734 What are you talking about? That line is a reference.
@@butterflyutonium1661 For one thing, what is "strickening." The word is "strychnine" for crying out loud. Also, his initial lack of punctuation and then overuse of it is horrible (for a nit-pick, but full stops are basic, not exactly as awkward as semi-colons,) and he said "king, burger king." So yes, he made a huge mess with his comment which made it less funny.
@@butterflyutonium1661 it's a line from eminem's the real slim shady
You are hearing things
2:45 youve been naughty for the last time
Naughty children will no longer receive coal; they'll get lead instead.
That was EPIC I'm. Glad you messaged me back after your fallout 76 one. 🍻
Definitely a Excellent song! I like the way you harmonize with yourself, and lovely wordplay. Keep up the great work! 😀
P.S, you look smashing in that suit.
“Cause the secong that you’ve met him is the second that it ends”
.. this is a masterpiece !!!
Secong.
Typo i’m sorry 😅
Wow! The new sound that plays from clicking the like button is awesome!
I am *not* being held against my free will by The Stupendium!
Gre- *I MEAN I! I wanted to mention that the Bell now makes a sound too!
*Please click it*
This is an amazing song, and I love how well done all of your costumes are for your music videos!
This is an accurate portrayal of Hitman in general. You got it spot on!
Honestly this guy on UA-cam is better than some ACTUAL celebrities. And he only has 382K subscribers? Why is the world so unfair?
You perfectly described 47 in a dark and serious tone. This video deserves to be a HIT !
Beautifully crafted just like every execution
Goosebumps. Thank you I haven't felt this in a while.
Okie Doki
If I had a *_penny_* for every time I've commented "Great work! This is awesome!" on a Stupendium video, I could probably buy everything in the merch store until it's sold out!
Once again, you captured the feel at atmosphere of the source material perfectly with smoothly transitioning, cleverly-*_executed_* lyrics. You better know I'll be rushing over to your channel *_the second_* you upload. This song truly is a *_hit, man!_*
(though, just like Vault 76, if I had to change one thing, it'd be to add another chorus on the end. In my opinion, ending it on a verse just makes it feel a tad bit incomplete. But hey, that's just my silly personal opinion. Keep doing what you're doing, man! You're *_killing_* it out there!)
smart idea with the jokes
I loved this rap ! The rythme and the tone makes it really feel like you're the boss, it's awesome :D
I can definitely see myself getting obsessed with this song. So good.
Wow. Just.. wow. This is REALLY good. I used to love game music when I was younger, and I thought I had mostly grown out of it, but nope. A very impressive effort, bravo.
I'm kinda scared how intimidating Stupe can be when he puts his mind to it. Not to mention while I have to see him with murderous intentions sing in my ears.
3:28 I caught that. That was a slim shady reference.
Very good one Stupes.
3:26 it took me. SO. LONG. to realize this reference.
Saw this in my notifications and I was so excited. Definitely not disappointed. This is a total hit, man. ;)
i listened to this so many times that i can now sing the song beggining to end word to word even tho i am not a quarter at good at singing as stupendium is
I love everything about your songs from the production value to the perfectly inserted lyrics
Alright, so you made a Fallout song that I used to lure in a friend to subscribe to you and now I can do the same with that friend who loves Hitman, nice!
good
Love the ending where he turns the gun sideways so he can catch the empty jacket, leaving no evidence. Stupendous you slick Genius!
"were you happy with your life ? cus it didnt have the time left to flash before your eyes" dude... thats ... i dont even know how to describe it other than i want that quote on something. a poster, a tattoo, a ring idk SOMETHING
as soon as it ended i said well god damn so you have done somthing most people can get a grasp at good job that was a real hit
I came before 500 views so I can enjoy this song early...
This is awesome, dude!
Your videos are always so awesome! And this fits Hitman 2 so well, another masterpiece
That sick Eminem reference though. Damn, that was hot!
Amazing work as always, Agent 47.
Around nine hitman died in the making of this video
Right on Man! This is a good game, and a GREAT song! way to go stupes! I cant wait to hear your next awesome work of art! and kudos for going full time on youtube! Way to Go!
Just checking how different it is
Edit: I like the remastered version much better
How good is your county accent?
This is the best Hitman song on the internet by far
Great job:)
Your songs are awesome!!!!!!!
Dude I still no nothing about this game but i remains one of my favorites by you
That Eminem reference was so smartly woven in and perfect, just like this rap!
I have been listening to this since it came out,and it just recently clicked for me that Stupendium is making a reference to Eminem with the burger king lines. Chef kiss, well done as always Stupendium!
I think it needs to be said that no one ever suspects 47 even if the person he's pretending to be is black, has a full set of hair and a beard, and the person's buddy just saw him.
This is the only channel that makes music I enjoy much more than the actual game it's made for. Amazing as always, keep it up!
Decided to reload the subscriptions page and saw this....yay♡~
You really killed it with those lyrics man.
"2012's 'Hitman: Absolution'. But 2016's 'Hitman' and 2018's Hitman 2' have cemented the series as one of my absolute favourites." Same.
Another day another great song i loved it so much
Post a bad song GOSH DARN YOU
WHY ARE THEY ALL SO GOOD * ANGRILY SOBING*
I got this game yesterday and I already flipping love it. This song really fits it!
Ah,first song of 2019,and already starting strong
I keep forgetting that your channel hasn't exploded yet, and i keep wondering how the hell not, you definitely deserve a few million subscribers
