Just think of all the self-isolation babies that will be born in December/January that are going to need names!!! Love your channel & your name suggestions so much 😍🙌🏼
For girls, I like Ruby (though it's very popular here in Canada), Garnet, Amethyst (Amy), Sapphire (as an alternative to Sophia), Coralie, Soraya (Jewel in Arabic). For boys: Topaz, Jasper, Sterling, Mica
Alysha Campbell oh my gosh I’ve always have wanted to visit their I’ve heard it stunning😍 but I don’t think it’s cheesy at all, but that’s maybe because I don’t live their, but if you really like the name I’d say go for it!
I love the girl name Willa, I've always been a fan of the boy name William, however its so common now, but for the female version I WAY prefer Willa to Willow!! ❤️
I love Maeve and Sloane!! They definitely sound good together! Edit: oh no! I hope Boaz doesn’t become popular! That and Atticus are my top two boy names!
I absolutely love your videos! I’m way too young to have a baby at the moment (17 😬) but I’m obsessed with babies and baby names so your videos are perfect! 😆
Hi SJ, thank you so much for taking your time to research for our little boy. This is definitely the last baby the Fiancé has told me; if I had it my way I would have 7 😂. Me and my fiancé have put Barnaby, Percy, Archer and Chester on our list. We are going to ask the kiddies there opinion. I love Archer and Fiancé loves Barnaby.❤️
Ahaha I forgot it was Monday! Wow, it has come to the point that your videos are the only things allowing me to keep track of time 🤣 Quarentine is so disorienting
I’ve got Beatrix Blythe (as a first+middle set!) on my list! Love these videos SJ, thanks for being a ray of sunshine in these frankly shit times 🌻☀️🌼✨
I always knew I loved the name Raphael but hearing it pronounced in this video...ahh my heart just fluttered. It’s perfect. Sophisticated, angelic, strong, soft, not too simple, not overly complex...I’m pretty sure it’s my top boy name at the moment. And funnily enough, you mentioned my number two in the video as well, which is Kasper💕 also, I wrote down Wyndham, Ramiel and Rhodes after this...ahh, so many glorious names out there😍😇
I notice that whenever you pronounce Hebrew names you mispronounce the endings. For example: Raziel would be pronounced Raz-ee-el (3 syllables) or Ramiel is Ra-mee-el. Also names like Azariah (which I know you mentioned in a previous video) is pronounced Az-uh-rye-uh not Uh-zar-ee-uh. Just trying to be helpful! I love your channel and all the great ideas you have! Much love and stay safe!
My name "Sahondra" is from Madagascar and it is the name of the flower of the Aloe Vera, a plant well known for good hydratation and its healing virtues! If it interest anyone 😅🥰
Hi SJ! I am due with triplets- 2 boys and a girl- and would love your help with names! Our last name starts with S, so probably no first names that end in S. I like strong, traditional names (Charlotte, Margaret, Amelia, etc) that age into adulthood well and don't end with the "ee" sound. I also want them to have names that aren't so popular, so they don't have the same name as a lot of peers. I particularly need help with boy name choices... I like Oliver, but my husband doesn't!
A nickname for Ezekiel besides the basic Zeke could be EZ like “easy.” My dad had a good friend that went by that instead of Ezekiel & I love it! Takes a long, somewhat traditional name & turns it cool for everyday!
Had my twin girls last week. I had one twin’s name picked, Antigone Rose. And I went with Ramona June for the other but I really don’t like it, the hospital just pressured me into it. Idk if this was in the video because I just started watching, but if not, can I have some help? I considered things like Salome, Andrea (pronounced ahn-drey-uh), Delilah, Maeve, and Dorothy.
Rosalyn Gummer Congratulations! I think those are very lovely names but if you don’t like them it’s ok to change...one of mine didn’t get officially named for six weeks. Isolde? Edith? Nova? Elara? Seraphina? Celeste/Cecilia? Mariposa? Agnes? Sybil? congrats again & enjoy your babies! ♥️♥️
Rosalyn Gummer I definitely agree with Lily if you're not in love with your baby's name you should definitely change it. The names you've listed are lovely; however, if you want names that match without being obvious I would suggest Thomasina Zaria which means twin rose. And I think Thomasina and Antigone go well together and have a very similar vibe.
With a name as important as Antigone, I feel her twin sister could really suit the name of another female hero from the Greek tragedies, like Alcesti :) I don't know if you're familiar with the myth of Antigone, a story of justice (human vs divine) brotherhood and bravery in which antigone would go against the tyrant's rules to be able to give due burial to her brother (such a strong female character) But there are other female protagonists you could get inspiration from :the first who come to mind and the most fitting (because it's always related to family devotion and bravery, just like antigone) would be Alcesti, which is a rare and also very pretty name. The husband of Alcesti (you should into the myth further) had married her with the help of apollo, however, apollo wanted the favour back, and asked him to sacrifice himself for it. Scared he asked his parents if they were willing to take his place but they weren't ;the only one willing was the sweet and brave Alcesti (who represents the unconditional love) . After hearing her story and being moved by it heracles (hercules) will go in the underworld to bring her back to life Otherwise there are important figures like Medea, Elettra and even Elena (of Troy) however these are a bit more controversial figures , but the names and stories are extremely fascinating. You should read into these a bit more, just because it would be nice that both your daughters could be linked to such important stories :) as a second name you could always use another flower or colour name (so your twins would have very different yet very meaningful and compatible names)
I like Percy for a girls name and have a friend whose daughter is Percy Faith. However, it’s is difficult for a boy to wear in the US as it’s too close to “prissy” which is NOT a compliment. Children can be cruel so remember that when you’re picking out these unusual names. Girls can get away with them easier than boys.....voice of experience here!
What about Lilyanna for the couple (James and Katie) who were thinking about lily and sienna. Could be pronounced as lily-anna or lily-ahna. Less common than Lily and Sienna but incorporates the Lilly and the na sound?
Thank you for the ideas for a twin sister for Romi!! We loved the suggestions Indie and Aria. So we are now shortlisted to Gigi, indie or aria 🤣 now onto deciding middle names. Thank you! Xxx
a few names I found in our genealogy to share- girls; Addie/Adelaide, Caldonia, Arvasena, Evalena ! , Beulah/Bessie, Meredith, Eurena (Rena,) Armenia (Nina), Euphamia (Fanny.) Boys; Gru, Meredith, Ellsworth, and Wycliff.
How about Kyle (you could even spell it Kile or Kiel) as a nickname for Ezekiel? I know the usual nickname is Zeke, but I always love an unexpected nickname!
Got a bit tearful over your note at the end. My baby is due in August and trying to stay positive in this situation. Worried about making mum friends, but I guess maybe this will bring us all closer! Anyway...also a bit YES to Hudson for a girl ❤ xx
I would prefer Constance (steadfast) instead or perhaps Charity (love). I also like Honor. Prudence means sound judgement, but in the US someone who is a prude is know as someone who doesn't "put out" or is overly proper aka boring, stiff, a goody goody.
one of my friends is named Tabitha! we call her tabby, tabby cat, and tabith (but instead of i we say ee sound) such a unique name, she's half British half American and it really suits her!
I absolutely LOVE Maeve and Sloane. Sloane was my all time favorite girl name, but my future husband's last name is Malone, so I had to give it up : ( He is not a fan of Maeve, but I am working on getting him to consider it!
I love the name Posie as well😍 i'm four month pregnant and looking for a name with a nature / mythology meaning to it.. My husband is Korean and we live in Korea, so we also want a name that wouldn't sound too weird here (or be too long)... I thought about River or Rosen or Hades, but my husband doesn't really like those 😆 any ideas?
Hello! I am due in November with my first, if it is a boy we both love James Colton (he would be called Colton). If it is a girl, my husband likes Caroline Marie. I love Marie in the middle spot, but Caroline just doesn’t seem special enough. Any suggestions? :)
Millie Milo Misha Ryker Willa Anya Alayaa Josie Bonnie Billie Luca Maci Whyze Or wyze Lyza Jolee Neeve - some of my fav baby names ! I loved all of them mentioned in the video!! 😊
My aunt and uncle are having a boy at the end of April and they aren’t quite sure what to name him. They already have a daughter named Scarlett Faye. Any ideas?

I love the name combo Evangeline Aria. I love the Phantom of the Opera and it always reminded me of it because it could translate to “angel of music”. 🥰
Can't decide on a middle name for our daughter due in 2 weeks!! Her name will be Autumn and atm we are stuck between Rose and Skye for the middle name, but would love more suggestions! Would love something Scottish if possible. 3 syllable surname
I’m pregnant with my third baby and we don’t know the gender yet. We already have two girls named Alessia (5) and Eliana (3). We like more uncommon names but nothing too out there. We were wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
Heidi Walker lovely names! For a boy perhaps you could keep the A in there with Marlow or Arlo (Arlo might be too popular). For some reason, reading those two names out loud it feels like Cory for a boy or Cora/Coraline for a girl slides in there naturally. Otherwise what do you think of Adaline for a girl? Congratulations to you!
Not pregnant, just love names- but my boyfriend and I (together 7 years) had names set for our future kids since we started dating. Well, I apparently have a cousin with the exact same taste because she used the same or very similar names. We love Eloise, she has an Ella Louise. We love Jade, her second daughters middle name is Jade. And her sons name is Nathaniel, which was our only boy name. Any other suggestions? I typically like older names that aren’t weird, but do like some out there ones as well. However my boyfriend likes very traditional names.
This was such a great video! Wonderful suggestions... I’m always amazed at your thoughtful answers and how you continuously come up with new ideas!! ❤️ If you have any suggestions for my baby boy #3, I’m listening 😊 Big brothers Theodore (Theo) and Henrik 😁
Names I loved Sloane Kit Maeve Odette Arabella Florabelle Freddie Boaz Heathcliff Clover Honey Lottie Love day 😍 Pearl Rocco Victoria Rose Roux Gideon Archer Percy (except he’s lame in HP) Know a girl Hudson, I like it. I think a floral middle name like Rose is perfect.
We have Elsie Willow Orla Emerald (stillborn at 37w 😢) Arlo Peter 🌈 Arthur Benjamin And we are expecting our 5th child in September!!! Really stuck for names!!!!!!!
SJ!!! I just want to say thank you so much for your videos ❤️ my dream was to have a baby girl, I watched one of your videos where you suggested the name “Amalina” and I changed the A to an E, so now we have a beautiful little Emelina born 3 weeks ago and she wouldn’t be named that if it wasn’t for you!!! Thank you xxx
My sons name is Leonidas, haven't met anyone who has the same name. If we ever have another boy I love the name Ares, and for a girl I love penelope and ada!
@@allpartiedout6975 there is two ways to pronounce it. One way is Leo-knee-das and the other is Leo-Nye-das. He is named after the king of Sparta, for better understand there might be a few UA-cam videos!
I love Hudson for a girl! Boys names for girls are me and my partner’s thing for sure. We love Riley or Sloane if we have a girl. Loved this video! So much fun.
We’re adding a Great Dane pup to our family in May if you feel like making a dog list 😂 Our first dog is called Tallulah so we are trying to find something equal to her name.
So far I love Gilligan, Gulliver, Wilder, Angus, and Pongo. My husband likes Duke, Forrest, Gunnar, and Achilles. Meeting in the middle is gonna be tough ha!
DaniDani Here’s a list of some of my favorites that I think go well with Rowland! Arlo Beckett Cade Damon Ezra or Elijah Finn or Flynn Gabriel Hayes or Hollis Ian Jude Kace or Karter Lorenzo or Levi Myles Nial Orson Paxton Quinn Reid or Renley Sebastian or Sterling Tucker or Tobias Uriah Vlad or Vance Wren or Wes Xavier Zander
What about Romulus instead of Remus? He was the twin Brother of Remus in Roman mythology and also he was the founder of the city of Rome. There are also a lot of good options for nicknames for Romulus.
My son’s name is Van Riley, we are expecting again and I’m looking for a nature-themed one syllable boy first name... we like Wolf but idk if I love it and I can’t think of a good middle name for it. For a girl we definitely like Bo, but we can’t think of a good middle name for that one!
I love baby names so much! I’m 17 and have never met someone else with my name. I’m lilybeth, it’s all one word. My parents always loved lily but wanted something more so thought of the queens nickname lilybet and kind of made up my name. I love Scandinavian names, my favourites are Isak and Freja 💞
I’m convinced any name will sound good in your sweet voice!! 💕💕
This is so true!
Just think of all the self-isolation babies that will be born in December/January that are going to need names!!! Love your channel & your name suggestions so much 😍🙌🏼

Rafaella/Raffaela “Elle/Ella/Ellie”, “Raffy”, “Fely”
Ella's a great nickname even though it's my actual name 😁
I love the name combo Evangeline Aria. I love the Phantom of the Opera and it always reminded me of it because it could translate to “angel of music”. 🥰
Florabelle is so beautiful !
In literary names I love Zadig from Voltaire's Zadig ou la destinée, but I never hear it anywhere.
Can't decide on a middle name for our daughter due in 2 weeks!! Her name will be Autumn and atm we are stuck between Rose and Skye for the middle name, but would love more suggestions! Would love something Scottish if possible. 3 syllable surname
Autumn Flower/Florence
Thank you so much for responding! Love these names! 🤗
Raphaella, Arianell,or Tarian(shield); for a girl.
Congratulations to you!
i rlly like the names ramona and lyra for girls:)
What about Linnea, Elodie, Elvie or Mabel??
Hmm...
Lilian ~ Alessia, Eliana & Lilian

Not pregnant, just love names- but my boyfriend and I (together 7 years) had names set for our future kids since we started dating. Well, I apparently have a cousin with the exact same taste because she used the same or very similar names. We love Eloise, she has an Ella Louise. We love Jade, her second daughters middle name is Jade. And her sons name is Nathaniel, which was our only boy name. Any other suggestions? I typically like older names that aren’t weird, but do like some out there ones as well. However my boyfriend likes very traditional names.
omg i would be upset if my cousin used my favorite names 😂 idk if this is an older name but my favorite boys name is myles/miles :)
Hi SJ! I’d love if you did another name game or question list, something to keep us name lovers occupied! 😁💘
This was such a great video! Wonderful suggestions... I’m always amazed at your thoughtful answers and how you continuously come up with new ideas!! ❤️ If you have any suggestions for my baby boy #3, I’m listening 😊 Big brothers Theodore (Theo) and Henrik 😁
frostiemu Rory sounds great with Theo & Henrik!
Emmett
Arlo, Troian, Noah, Sebastian, Elliot?
Our large family is filled with boys (lots of nephews), but think my few nieces’ names are cool: Elisha Micaela, Noelani, Lily Calixta, & Avalee
Loved how long this video was! Marvellous 😊 xox
I like Erasmus for boy and Isabelle for girl. So lovely!
How about Omer for the American/French/Arabic name? Technically a french name but very similar to Omar which is a popular Arabic name
I need help deciding between Freya, Lyra and Aurelia. Which is better? Help!
I like Freya the best
What do you think of the name Laney for girl or dale ( Daley ) for boy

Theres a famous UA-camr with a son named leonidas.
My gosh I’m going to binge watch your baby name videos! I’m 37 weeks pregnant, don’t know the sex and we don’t have a name! 😩
I've always wanted to name my son Phoenix Dorian and my daughter Dallas Kay. Is it cheesy to name girl boy twins this?
I love Hudson for a girl💕💕💕 For a more feminine middle name maybe something more simple like Grace or Lily
We’re adding a Great Dane pup to our family in May if you feel like making a dog list 😂
Our first dog is called Tallulah so we are trying to find something equal to her name.
So far I love Gilligan, Gulliver, Wilder, Angus, and Pongo.
My husband likes Duke, Forrest, Gunnar, and Achilles.
Meeting in the middle is gonna be tough ha!
@@gabrielleconnelly3324 Pongo reminds me of 101 dalmations. I think Ranger, Hawk or Rogue is cool.
Gatlin!
We’re adding a Dane sooner than later to our pack as well! 🐶🐶🐶
Love name dilemma videos yay! Lol 😊
I would like to use Rowland as a middle spot for a boy, because it is my maiden name. What first name could go nicely?

What about Romulus instead of Remus? He was the twin Brother of Remus in Roman mythology and also he was the founder of the city of Rome. There are also a lot of good options for nicknames for Romulus.
My son’s name is Van Riley, we are expecting again and I’m looking for a nature-themed one syllable boy first name... we like Wolf but idk if I love it and I can’t think of a good middle name for it. For a girl we definitely like Bo, but we can’t think of a good middle name for that one!
I also really like Niamh for a girl but my husband isn’t sold on it 😂
I really like the name Indi or Hunter for a girl or boy. :)
My favourite baby girl’s name is the one I gave my only daughter: Bethany Kathleen
