I don’t think I have ever wanted to meet a painter more than Ryan after watching this video.
Right? amazing energy. Would love to watch him in the field painting.
Patricia Y c Bourgeois, Little Rock,AR
If you catch him! You guys have similar energy!
I'm a big fan of you too!
Me too!
Ryan's focus is off the charts. He stays loose but extremely well focussed. That is the way I like to paint, burning up massive calories per hour. There are no mistakes. Just keep at it until the job is done.
I love the idea of a mirror behind your work. My brain just exploded with that idea
A career as dental tech for years has ripped the spontaneity right out of me. This wonderful technique has me so excited. It reminds me of pure joy.
This is the most exciting artist to date, his passion, excitement and carefully considered approach is mesmerising. His paintings stand out because his attitude and energy is above and beyond what is normally presented. Broken, soft and lost edges invoke movement and the eyes are presented with continuous variety, surprise and structure as the viewer traverses the subjects on the canvas. His paintings show incredible insight into the nature and characteristic of light and atmosphere and makes an ordinary subject extraordinary. This man is a master.
Master of what though? Cause its definitely not painting.
Ryan is one of my favorite artists. The dude is so
Non-artist which is refreshing. Great energy and confidence.
This is one of the most exciting and inspiring demos to date. Holy Cow it is amazing to watch Ryan
WHY?
This demo/instruction kept a big smile on my face from start to finish! Love Ryan, love his style, love his spirit. Thank you Eric.
Ryan's energy and passion are infectious, always fun and informative to watch. Good call inviting him to the Plein Air Convention!
I had so much fun watching this demo, more of Ryan please!!
Love the way Ryan dives into his work. He confronts the canvas with his unique artistic flare and it works so well. Thanks for inspiration. Thank you for your service.
Absolutely one of the best artists I have seen on Streamline. They are all very good and but Ryan is inspirational and brings something new to the discussion of plein air and painting in general. I went and bought a painting from him while watching this.
Wher did you buy it? His site is very minimal
This was fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
Really cool to see Ryan’s process. Thanks for the inspiration, Ryan. I like your point about not insulting the viewer’s intelligence.
Mind blowing lesson !!!!!!!!!
I just started to paint so this was very over whelming, so Im not there yet but I will always carrie this lesson with me!!
Lots of admire from Sweden!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Ryan I'm watching your approach to landscapes. With Soft and hard edges. You're great!
Love his energy and fearlessness! Awesome
What fun. I love him. Thank you, Eric.
Love Ryan’s work and thoughts on painting! So creative and freeing! Such bravado with a brush!!! Awesome!!!
Putting your arm behind you opens up your lung and heart area, also good for walking!
Love your work Eric!!!
You are an inspiration to all! You are expressive and make no pretense. As with everything in life .... taking ownership and learning is ongoing and Ryan you do just that. Reminding us all to bring out that inner kid that we forget about as we age. Thanks for taking time and sharing your painting journey. I agree it’s that inner voice ( ego) that sometimes is the most annoying. I know when I let go and just ignore that chatter. I am content.
With that said, “Thank you .” Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to y’all! 😊
totaly mind blowing WHO IS THIS DUDE!!!!
Very dynamic artist and approach, so interactive with subject, substrate!! Glad I got a chance to view this!! So inspiring!!
Freakin loved this!!! Painting from the heart ♥️ definitely inspired me to keep painting! 🙏 thanks never met an artist that allows me to paint so freely 😅
Wow, love this!! You certainly inspire:). Thanks a million
Ryan’s free form style with limited palette is liberating and infectious. Cheers
Hello Erik! I always watch your programs with great interest. Every time I meet new artists, masters of their craft, I enrich my knowledge and experience in painting. Today was also a lot of learning for me and it was a lot of fun with Ryan. I would be very happy to visit him in the open air in order to adopt his energy and unique technique of painting with a limited palette. Thank you so much Erik for your noble work for the enlightenment of artists like us!
Ryan is as brave as a big wave rider to me! I love him! Certainly inspired me!
Wow. That's a true artist......I love how he sees it and knows where to add the colors.
I love to see methods that are fresh and inspiring. Love it!
Whoa! Perfect time for me to hear this! Thankyouthankyou, Ryan! Mega inspiration!

Ryan talked about offering inspiration and he sure did inspire me. Thanks Eric for having Ryan. You do great videos.
This was a great video, so free and fun. Ryan is a cool guy
Absolutely loved watching this guy!
He’s wild but his passion and fearlessness inspired me.
I had such a major painter’s block after Art school 😖
I love the non-attached way he paints, My new mentor!
WOW! What an inspiration! Thank you!
My mind is blown with the confidance of Ryan's artwork!
I just like the authority and the secure attack of brush strucks on the canvas !
This is a result from many studies and language of the artist.
Takes many years to get so excited and secure to paint this way! Very nice and expressionist style! 👏
I love being able to get knowledge from these videos. It's a blessing! Watching from Sylvania, Georgia.
Hey, I’m in Springfield!
Love Ryan Jensen! Wish I'd been home to see it live!
Brilliant! Love the black snd white canvas starts! Very impressionistic. Love the style.
Yes, you have really inspired me to loosen UP!! THANKS
Ryan's work is excellent. I love it.
My mind is truly expanding!

Blowing me away. Wow. I been schooled. Thanx.
I really like this artist and I’m watching him to find the hard edge he talks about!! He has already painted a lot of the Cow already!
I’m loving the energy and focusing on shapes!
Thanks, Eric!
Thanks, Ryan!
I appreciate the video, the lesson you all shared. Yes, inspiring. Moving forward, taking this with me en plein air.
I've watched so many demos but this is most I have learned from
Mesmerising looking and listening. So courageous with natural talent. Well wishes from the UK 😍
Ryan, this is exactly what I need to see!
Oh, the cow looks as if she is asking us, "Are you seeing this?"
Wouldn't it be funny if that humour made this Ryan's most famous legacy piece of art!!!
Thanks, I am painting from what is in my head and I needed advice to get it out before I lose it. This is perfect. Especially when people interrupt and become the source of going blank. "Taking authority" is exactly what we want to do. Not being timid or tossing it out or discouraged because of a lost opportunity is real soldier style overcoming.
Dive in, the water's fine!
Really gutsy demo. Very inspiring. I thought I was gutsy!! Thanks Ryan. Would have liked many more close ups. Julia
Hi from London uk. Stunning work Ryan 👊🏼
Fantastic loose emotional painting. I love to see Ryan work! I wonder if I can do similar painting in my watercolor...
Wow what a cool painter👍😄 this was great to watch 👍👍😄
Fabulous lesson so thank you😊👨🏻🎨
Watching from Petoskey, Michigan. Ryan’s work is fabulous. Love your videos!

Love❤your style and approach and sharing your approach.
Thank you Ryan I enjoyed watching you painting 👍🤩❤️🥰😍
Loving his energy and looseness in his marks! Hello from Texas where the cattle and cowboys roam!
This is awesome!
I love painting cows out in the field. This technique is fast and punchy so real good for getting it down when time is moving apace, Thanks for that Ryan, I'm inspired towards child like fun.
love his style!
I love this guy! Very entertaining!!! And awesome artist.
Amazing eye...amazing technique!!
His style and energy is very interesting. The comment he made on the paint brush being a wand makes his paintings seem very magical and wonderous to me, as I am a painter and would like to try his way of painting.
So inspirational. Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love those soft edges, Look's mad with portraits too🎨
Incredible!

love the breaking of tension between expectation and getting to forms that work. Hi from Somerset UK.
Having a "When Harry met Sally" moment. I'll have what he's having.
