2 years into my painting journey & 1 guess at 83 years I won’t be able to catch up with you😀So thanks for your generosity with your tutorials.

I’m 56 & I won’t either, lol. Still it’s much more about how it makes you feel when you paint. While of course, we’re trying to improve our skills, more importantly, it’s about developing your own unique style🙂

Right! Learning different techniques, tips, different ways to apply. The freedom in the way Stuart paints is refreshing, no mistakes, no worries, deadlines, or even a plan! I'm 66 & he opened up a door for me thats been closed for decades. It feels great to just cut loose, & lose yourself in being so "intrested" in a painting.

Thanks for another fine tutorial Stuart, I love watching you make something out of nothing.
Sometimes I enjoy starting a painting not knowing what I’m actually going to paint, it’s a lot of fun. Stay well until next time, thanks again.😎🇦🇺🦘

I always learn something from watching you paint…and I think “interesting” is a very good word.

I think the multiple close-ups made this particular lesson a bit extra valuable & appreciated.
Beautiful result. Somebody "out there" is going to be really happy to receive this one. 💖👍

Stuart I think you shou,d use the word “interesting” as often as you like because you’re teaching and in teaching one repeats to aid learning. And it IS very interesting how the effects are created and their results! Thanks so much!!

    This one turned out great!!
Note: I wouldn’t suggest Bounty as it leaves bits of fiber, unless you’re just using it to wipe brushes. In 🇺🇸, Scott has a blue shop towel that won’t leave fibers. It’s a very soft towel. If you’re looking for the more crinkly paper Stuart uses yo create the illusion of texture, you want the stiffer kind, like the proem or white paper towels you find in public restrooms. I know Amazon sells them🙂

The paper stuart uses ..in the u.s.a. can be found in restrooms. Commercial grade? I've taken quite a bit, & it works well. Poor maintenance men thinking " hey..i know i just put a new roll on!" The few times I've tried a knife that big for clouds, i scraped it off. Too blocky. That small triangular one twisted around makes better loose clouds too me. & the one you did for sale is really nice! Just like the storms we get over u.s. plains. Nice vid again! P.s. any point of interest, is intresting! I dont mind the word a bit.

Lately, I have been having trouble finding the chip brushes with the longer bristles. I can't get the same effect with the short bristles. Any suggestions? I can get the small ones, but not the larger ones.

    • @L.WolfMoidell-is6vz

If you're in the U.S. I feel your pain. I've just been searching on eBay and just carefully checking the photos. I've been thinking about just buying regular natural bristle paint brushes and thinning them by using a sharp blade and cutting across where the bristles meet the metal ferrel. Of course they are going to be more expensive than chip brushes but, since I'm not solvent sensitive like Stuart I will be able to solvent clean them for many uses.
It's a conundrum (for sure) attempting to locate suitable brushes here.
Also the chip brushes that Stuart uses seem to be of somewhat better quality than some of the complete garbage ones that I've bought on numerous occasions. Good Luck & Stay Safe!

Hey, I have been quietly watching videos, I really try to learn as much as I can. Still I got some questions. How not overdue painting, if I love sort of smoothier changes in landscape tones? I don't want it became boring picture.

You should continue to say interesting it you want. I never even noticed it until you mentioned it. When you catch yourself, it disrupts the flow of the dialogue. I don't think anybody cares. It's the way people speak. You can get a thesaurus, but then it would sound unnatural
