A vice is your friend for this project. A better way to remove that cap seal... Actually have the shaft with spider gear touching the cap. Instead of hitting the cap in the middle, slowly tap the actual flange where the 6 bolt holes are. The shaft/spider gear will punch out that cap much like you see in your vid at 7:48

I dont know if mine was loose, but i did a couple taps around right around, and then just smacked the other end of the axle on a piece of wood and the cap went flying off haha . Cheers for your help ✌

@@skuxxxification Glad my little tip helped! Be sure to put some silicone sealant when replacing the cap. I put it around the edge of the cap, then wiped off excess after lightly tapping around to get it seated flush

Great informative video! For the 6 12mm bolts, what do you do for the 4 that is hidden behind other components? Can you spin it to the open side? Thanks

Great video! I read online and many say you must open the diff, etc, to unclip the axle from it - looking at your video, I don't see it clipped in the diff... what year is your GTR? I will need to do my outer boot on the right hand drive of my 1991 R32 GTR :(
