I think I know what happened, so basically eventually someone else found the cave and it was shielded now shut by other big rocks, and from what I believe, Kenny went inside the cave and the rocks fell over the entrance so he couldn't get out because the rocks were too heavy and they were way stuck in the entrance, but honestly no one ever really tried to open the sealed cave to see if Kenny was inside because no one cared to do so, and that's why the whole case is still a mysterious case that no one can seem to figure out

I've seen so many people theorize about what happened to Kenny, and even though there probably won't be a definitive answer, I believe his girlfriend was right, from what it seems, it seems like she knew what was going on through his head, and unless she was involved in his disappearance, it wouldn't make sense for a man to lose himself for as long as he did and not be found, alive or not. Not to mention that with the willpower he had, he also would've found the cave by now, too. It seems as though he knew that terrain like the back of his hand, and if something was drastically altered, I believe everyone invested would've found some clues about that by now too.
