- What's in Area 51? UFOs. Extraterrestrials. Top-secret aircraft. Quarantined aliens. And the mysterious, elusive M Cave. Area 51 certainly has a reputation for secrets! This well-guarded military installation on the sprawling Nellis Air Force base has been fueling the imaginations of ordinary people and determined explorers everywhere for a long time.
One question that comes up often is whether there are secret entrances to underground facilities at the perimeter of Area 51. Kenny Veach may have inadvertently stumbled upon such an entrance while hiking near the base in 2014. He spotted a cave in the distance which had what he called a curious, M-shaped entrance. When Kenny approached the M cave, he said his body began to vibrate greatly, and he felt an overwhelming sense of fear and dread. These unusual and frightening experiences made him immediately retreat from the area. Once he relayed his unsettling experience to his UA-cam followers, they begged him to go back out with a video camera and find the M cave again so that he could film it for them. He agreed to do that in October 2014 but was unable to find the cave. After posting THAT video, his viewers urged him to try again to find the M cave. So in November 2014 he set out for a second time to find the M cave that he had initially spotted a few months earlier. Kenny never returned from that hike. A massive search was conducted shortly thereafter. His cell phone was found next to a vertical mine shaft, but search-and-rescue personnel determined that he was not at the bottom of the shaft. And that's where the trail turned cold. Kenny Veach had literally vanished into thin air and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Why did Kenny Veach disappear six years ago? Some speculate that he purposely left his cell phone next to the mine shaft so that its GPS wouldn't track him because he wanted to hike far up into the hills and remote canyons to commit suicide. Others think he has fled the country and is now living abroad under a new identity. Others think more nefarious things are afoot and that the government stepped in and did away with him because of his inadvertent discovery of the M cave which, indeed, might've been a disguised entrance to an underground, top-secret facility at Area 51. Some think that the strange vibrations Kenny felt in his body as he approached the M cave might've been some kind of high-tech alarm or a low-frequency deterrent emanating from the cave.
In this video, I examine a location that a military acquaintance of mine named Don alerted me to. Don had been searching off and on for the M cave for several years. Unable to explore anymore due to an accident, Don told me about a location he had spotted way off in the distance on one of his last desert hikes but didn't have time to go investigate himself. With Don's help, I was able to make my way to the coordinates he gave me and found what appeared to be a very shallow cave with an M-shaped entrance. I did not, however, experience any strange vibration like Kenny did as I approached the cave. At the entrance, it was apparent that someone had attempted to wall-off the cave with stacked rocks. Inside the shallow cave I found some other interesting things which are all documented in my video. Was this Kenny Veach's storied M cave? I don't know. But it sure had some of the hallmarks of it, though. Enjoy!

From what you showed, that cave seemed pretty easy to find for Kenny since he was so familiar with that area. My opinion is that this was not the infamous M cave. It does appear to be setup to mask the real one with the scratching, the sign and poor attempt to seal it. If it was to be covered by the military, some C4 would have done it. There are many that believe the feelings Kenny was getting while getting near the cave was a non lethal military weapon to keep people away. Thank you for all your videos love them all.

In my opinion, the sickness hikers experience when poking their heads in these caves is caused by breathing in hemotoxic pools of gases, left there either naturally or as pollution from the air force corrupting underground channels with fuel byproducts.
It explains the fear, vomiting, nerve attacks, faintness and weakness. Attempts may have been made to fill in holes in the area to keep the public safe, not to conceal secret bases.
He said it went way back, he weren’t sure if a mountain lion or something similar was inside, you can clearly see inside this small gap in the rocks

You really think they would make the effort the create a fake M shaped cave in an area people rarely visit? If they really didnt want people to be there nobody would.
There's definitely something off about that wall. Those cracks as well as clear air coming out is definitely out of place. I'm also surprised you didn't mention how "out of place" everything is. Even once again - those cracks on the wall are just not right. You should seriously ought to organize for more people to come back and for some very good friend in a different city/state to know about the specific location, who's going there, what time, etc - so he could at least make media aware if something were to happen to you. You should also consider bringing some "special camera" which would be thin enough to go through the cracks and give you some input of what's behind the wall!
This definitely looks like "M" shaped cave. And for those who say that "it couldn't be the cave because Kenny described it as "deep and dark" - well we haven't seen what's behind those rocks... yet!
I'm no geologist, but the rock formations on the cave walls look unnatural to me.

This appears to have been a prospectors home. We find these frequently in the desert. The wall they built was to protect them from the elements.

Thanks for this comment, especially since the cave that Kenny Veach said he found was closer to Nellis Air Force Base somewhere nearby the famous Picture Canyon area. It's a small range of mountains with dozens of caves. If the cave is there, you most likely might find the remains of Kenny Veach, assuming he wasn't eaten by mountain lions in that area. This particular cave being so close to Area 51, if not on the base itself, is most likely a shelter of some kind. Based on the look of the wood, the wood seems to be no older than 20 years. It's weathered, but it's still in a condition that could used for another decade or so for light building of some sort.

If anyone happened to "fall of of the sky" lost in that specific location and were genuinely lost...i think, yes...you are correct. However I don't think people get accidentally lost near area 51, while also NOT knowing they are near Aera 51.
Slow down the speed to .25, step forward at 3:24 to 3:30, look at the cave ceiling, there are straight grooves there, maybe a hatch. The cameraman mentions he was crouching/squatting down as he filmed in the back of the cave there, maybe the trick is to stand in front of the " HATCH " and PUSH/SQUAT up on the cave ceiling, all around those straightish groves. Maybe theres a counter-levered rock hatch up in that ceiling. Don't get locked in.

In Kenny’s original video he described the cave to be “as tall as him” so that he could walk into it and very deep. I don’t think this is it. I’ve seen other youtubers looking out there and saw other “M” shaped caves in their videos. Maybe make a map of every M shaped cave you come across out there. One of them have to be it.

The creepiest thing about this to me, assuming this IS the cave Kenny found, is just the fact that there's a bunch of wood in the middle of the cave that looks like it was used for something. If it really is the cave that Kenny found, I really wonder what that wood even is.

couldve been blown in there by a storm. they werent huge logs or anything, and if it was an old prospector's shelter they might be from that era too...or even just from other hikers camping there for the night.
This was a long time ago. I have not forgotten about Kenny either because I was among some of the UA-camrs watching the M cave video back when he first went missing..It was like one of those stories you hear about when they say, "users went to reddit, and quickly solved the puzzle." It was shocking. It was worrisome. I just watched this guys M cave video and now they couldn't find him. I remember months later people were skeptical about all of this suspecting Kenny may have faked his own death. I can understand that also, it makes sense. If he faked his death it was brilliant. I just refuse to believe a man like him would do that. He had a daughter and he was probably a really great loving type of parent. I don't accept that he is in hiding, but maybe he started getting death threats and had to do it? His story became internet lore. I'm pretty sure Coast to Coast AM did a segment on him. This is an unsolved mystery and we should all go tear that cave apart to see if there really is a hidden opening.

I had to google Kenny Veach but the cave you found looks like an old cowboy camp. The stacked rocks are a windbreak for having a fire and for sleeping. There are 2 packrat nests (middens) in the cave - one in the upper left at 3:11 (you can see the droppings piled up so the nest probably goes back into that crack in the rock a bit) and the one at the end that the Area 51 sign is in, the sign most likely was carried there by the packrat, they do that.
Thats concrete blocking the rest of the cave.

I am def not an expert on caves or concrete or cement but I took a screen shot of that back wall and it definitely looks strange to me, like something walled off with cement or concrete. I have been in a few caves and it looks way too smooth and a different consistency
Dude… this video raised so many more questions for me. Why was there wind coming out of that crack? Why was there wood planks inside this random cave miles away from anything? Why was there a nail in the rock? What was the deal with that Area 51 sign, was that even real or did someone buy that in a gift shop and leave it there for someone else to find? Why did someone try to block off this this tiny cave if it’s so obviously non-dangerous? (Unless it is dangerous?) You know how heavy those rocks would be? Like 60-100lbs each. Why would someone go through the trouble of blocking it off. Even more strange is why didn’t they finish? Where’s the rest of the wood? Why is there only pieces of something obviously a lot bigger? Was it a wagon of some kind? Is that how they got the rocks there? Someone needs to go back with actual scientific equipment and do a real investigation. I know people that have the resources and equipment. If I only knew the exact coordinates. We could plot a trip out there using 4-wheelers and trailers and do some real work. Ground penetrating radar, metal detectors, geologists who could examine the cave for anomalies. Mr Veach said he felt vibrations and it made him scared. You said you didn’t feel any of that but you seemed obviously scared. I mean how long did it take you to get out there to investigate this cave? And then how long did you actually stay before bolting? What if there was some thing behind the rocks that was producing electromagnetic current? Electromagnetism can cause fear and paranoia. That cave resembles hundreds of natural caves in that region. Rocks fall and end up looking like they were intentionally stacked.

Theory: cave near or on millitary base. Tired of people camping in it, they blocked it with a wooden door. That didn't work, so they filled it in with concrete or something immovable?

Native Americans often built walls like that for defense & shelter. May have been a good place to hide out for the night. Kenny was showing some signs of mental illness so may have seen/felt things that weren't there.
@@nefariumxxx Frank mentioned that part of the wall looked odd. Made me think of how around here they often have to seal up the openings of old coal mines to keep people out. I'd never heard about Kenny's story until this video. It's sad when someone doesn't get the help they need.

That airflow coming through that hole is a dead giveaway. That means that there has to be an entrance to an open area along that wall.. You did the smart thing by leaving though.

Came here to say this. I’m somewhat of an alpinist myself, and you’ll find walls like this ALL over the peaks in the Sierra Nevada. People build them as windbreaks for emergency bivies.

If Kenny stumbled onto the opening of the underground base which is said to be staffed by both military and EBE's that certainly fits with the whole story here, he definitely would not have been permitted to leave if he did.

Old Sheahan family mine claim. Silver chloride and lead, probably low yielding and filled in. The right side of the M seen from far away is the crack where natural air and gases seep out, what you observed at the end (air flow) and your body telling you there was a change in oxygen level in that area (dread/flight instinct). Walled up but periodically used by wanderers and explorers. Digging down and back at 35 degrees you’d probably come across the original shaft. My best guess at a glance. That whole giant rock shooting up would have fissures once you get in it.
The fact that his girlfriend posted a video of him drinking a beer before going in would most definitely explain the unlabeled bottle.

I don't believe this is the cave that Kenny was looking for. This is easy to spot and Kenny who was familiar with the area wouldn't have missed it. Thank you for going out there and exploring the cave, but just watching your video, I feel like there is something SUPER WRONG there ... that is, the scratch marks you pointed out as "Hatch" which actually means a door or "a covering for an opening area". I don't know why, but I feel like there's something hidden that needs to be discovered ... Otherwise, it is so random to find a cave that looks like M with some random lettering, hinting "a door".

I think Kenny was either feeling the effects of a non lethal weapon on him which was using high frequency sound waves or he was having some sort of psychotic episode,possibly through tiredness or lack of food and water.He may have fallen down an old mineshaft or become trapped by crawling too far into some form of underground opening.Or it may have been the camo dudes.

If you watch Kenny’s video he walks past this little cave and then to the S shaped valley but then he hits like a dead end and turns around and goes back to his truck.

He was battling depression for a while and I believe he may have taken his own life somewhere far out there deep in a crevasse or a cave so nobody would or could find him.

I know this is 2 years old but to me it looks like this entrance was blown up after Kennys case got so much attention, would also explain why the sign you found is crumbled up and covered in dust which could have been created from an explosion.
After the Kenny Veach incident, I think the authorities in Area 51 closed this place, but inside the cave.

Interesting how you started feeling uncomfortable about being there. I don't know how far this is from the boundary of Area 51, but the Area 51 sign was probably taken from somewhere else and brought there. It looks like somebody was working on building a little fire pit and had brought up the wood. The dowel with the reduced diameter on the ends looks like a chair rung. If you felt some cold air coming from some of the cracks I would tend to think that this could have been a mine entrance that had been back filled or collapsed. No idea if this is the same "M" cave that Kenny referred to in his video, but it was an interesting exploration anyway.
I dunno, him feeling uncomfortable seems like a self fulfilling prophecy to me. Due to the caves supposed backstory and him putting the ide he should be uncomfortable in his head by saying he didn't feel anything.
It'd be interesting to bring somebody who hasn't heard the story out there and see if they feel the same naturally.

I used to be in the military (years ago), and I can assure you that there are many underground bases in places people would never guess. Around all big cities, is a sizeable base to hide the leadership of military and of the civilian high-ranking elected officials. Because, if a ballistic missile were to be coming in that city's direction, then these secret locations would open up and allow the Upper Cadre to gain entrance and protect them during the blast. So, everyone should also look around the outskirts of big cities to find similar entry points. They are often not hidden, as much, as one would think.
Both my parents were in the Air Force for over 20 years and they have told me the same thing.
How big of a city? Would Appleton (pop: 74,139), Green Bay (pop: 104,777), or Milwaukee (pop: 594,548) have something like you described?

I don’t understand why so many other UA-cam channels are still on the hunt for this cave when it’s right here. Saying it’s near Area 51 is like saying Kingman Arizona is near Las Vegas. It is, but still well over an hour away by car.
Bring a geiger counter or any other kind of rad measuring device with you, best to put yourself in full hazmat as well once you get there. What Kenny described after having been inside that cave entrance were typical symptoms of directed energy weapons/infrasonic exposure.

@@Vingul Might end up being a bad idea tho. I find that sign to be one of the most sus things about that cave. Obviously someone brought it from another area, it shouldn't be in that area. So who took that sign there, HOW did they manage to get the sign w/o being shot, and WHY did they leave it in that cave after going thru the bother of obtaining it? It wasn't hanging up, just left there... As if they're trying not to make the cave itself look like the restricted area, but left the sign as a hint to anyone that came there, just remember you're mortal and turn right back around...

I am not suggesting that you should go back, but it would be very exciting if it was investigated by a team of people, you know so no one else dies, because it certainly looks like it’s blocked off with concrete or something.

There was a video of a guy who was headed to area 51 and near the entrance he came across two old ladies who definitely did not look human at all, they looked like characters straight out of courage the cowardly dog, the video is nowhere to be found now because I tried to find it and no luck.

That wooden dowel was 100% for a ladder. If that was once an entrance, one could only assume there was a ladder that you used to go down to a transport tunnel of some sort that would lead you inside area 51. This isn't the only entrance that's out there, I'm sure.

Definitely interesting, however if this was actually the M cave then you’d think they would carve out the entrance to make the M formation disappear. They wouldn’t just stop at sealing it off if they really don’t want anyone to find it

Hi Frank. Kenny described in his video that upon entering this particular cave, he felt an overwhelming vibration which spooked him so much he turned around and left. I wouldn't doubt that because of this vibration, it had, no doubt strings to Area 51. And, because of its discovery by Kenny, I believe this location was then filled so no longer can it be investigated by anyone else. Is Kenny Veach behind that makeshift wall, no one knows.
I love your channel and explorations that gave me a new interest for caves and abandoned mines. One mine in particular actually scared the daylights out of me. I can't remember the actual name of it, however, it's the cave where you heard what you thought was "Snakes" but it was actually "chanting like whispering." Being there I realize is far more different than watching a video!! You then realized as well, I guess while editing, that the chanting is what you thought were"Snakes!!" That video is one on my favorite list in your collection of explorations!

As a former homeless person, that wall is likely a privacy block or wind break. It's pretty clear with all of the wood and bottles and stuff, you'd put things like your drinks or fans on the wood so they wouldn't get all dirty.
Things were just getting interesting when you pulled that nail out too, then panning to that gap, showing some space behind the rock. That's the area that I thought had the most likelihood of going somewhere from the first moment you showed the inside of the cave too...
Very nicely done. Looks like an old mine entrance that has been back filled to keep people from going in the mine. If one feels uneasy in a mine or a cave, it's time to retreat and get out. But yet I heard wind coming from the cracks in the rocks.

The fact that Kenny himself said that he felt 'vibration'or overall uncomfortable, means that since he was near Area 51 He might have gone near a highly classified area. They use these machines to deny entry of such unemployed people to swat them off. (Vibration, heat ect.) This here is not the real cave. Seems that it may be a fake, or uninhabited. When you are talking about the government, these people are smart- and they will do whatever it takes to cover themselves.... Even if it means termination.
This is my favorite mystery I would love to solve. I hope there's a chance Kenny made it he was such a kind soul and to find out the truth would make myself and many other happy to just know why and what happened.
His girlfriend said she's pretty confident he committed suicide, he had lost his job, was diagnosed with depression and refused to take his meds. She also claims his video camera was still in his place, so he went out there with no intentions of filming.

I really think either they filled the cave and that’s why you can’t go any further in cause Kenny said he was able to stand inside meaning the cave had to have been at least 8ft tall for him to go in with out crouching cause I doubt anyone would go into a cave that looks like you can’t come back out or looks like a tight squeez
That spot could have been used as a training area, looks like those stacked rocks were placed there to help with concealment. The stacked rock wall was either way higher to block view of the tunnel or it was never meant to block full view of the tunnel, if it was stacked higher there would be more large rocks scattered around. It's possible that someone else found the tunnel and used it as a home, there is evidence of someone using that area for an extended period of time, maybe that nail in the wall was for hanging up gear. Curious if you kept digging where the wood is if you would have found something more to explain the actions the last people did there. That area you circled with red, it does look like it was tampered with, however also looks pretty natural. Could find out if it's an entrance by digging and finding a seam and or may be able to tell if they used concreate. If they wanted to make it look like a regular cave, they would have cleaned up after themselves. If there was no stacked rocks or wood, the cave would be way less conspicuous. Not to mention that if the one way to find the cave was by how it looked, Area 51 would have given it more of a remodel. Difficult to say if that sign was placed there or if erosion/wind blew down the wall that held it in place. IMO if this was a sensitive area, you would have been bum rushed, doubt Area 51 would be so casual about a security risk unless they were just that confident. That hole in the wall makes me curious. You could always get a trail camera and hide it, checking in on it every so often. If this tunnel is truly an entrance to Area 51, there is bound to be a patrol that checks on it eventually.

I’m an explorer, if you tell me where it is, I will make a video, break that cover up of a rock, cause someone did block it you can tell, but I will record me going in and exploring it.
The county sheriff might have closed that cave with explosives (they often do) probably upon request from someone who wanted no further exploration. The area 51 sign that you dug out is a pretty good indication that the someone was a security officer from NTS. Find an old retired miner to look the site over for a little expertise on closings.
Fun fact, I moved to Vegas when I was 19 (Back in 99), got a job cleaning bus's that would transport workers out to Area 51. And every single day, probably 1 out of 5 buses would come back with a seat covered in vomit. And no, these were not party buses, and no the vomit did not smell like someone had been drinking. I always found that weird as hell.

A hatch doesn't necessarily have to be on side of cave. It might be in the floor of the cave and covered over. With the sign there and the vibration probably being machinery Veach may have been killed by security of Area 51 to protect it's secret.
Yes, that is an "M" shaped cavernous hole in the wall but as for an actual cave? Most will agree that this really doesn't fit the description of an actual cave. Tbh, I don't think that is the cave Kenny was talking about. The one Kenny described was quite spectacular and he didn't want to step foot in there without his firearm, light and camera. No one would be scared of going in that dent in the wall...no offense.
I found a bunker type entrance on the side Kennesaw Mountain GA a few years back. I'm the type that wanders off the trails and I noticed a 90° angle through the woods one day while exploring. It was supper sketch. There was a blast door in the front that looked welded shut from the inside, and there was also a metal trap door on the top side. I could lift the door maybe a couple inches only to find that it was chained with a padlock on the inside. I've always wanted to go back back with a portable plasma cutter. My theory is that it connects to Dobbins AFB with isn't that far away. Considering it was closed and sealed from the inside only, leads me to believe there are other ways to get in. Who wants to go check it out with me? Still remember the exact location...

You can't see the entrance from the main trail, but if you take the little trail to the right and walk back ab 50 ft you should see it. Like i said it's been a few years since I've visited the mountain, but this is my best recollection!

On the dirt road out to Skidoo, pretty early in the drive there was an old rusted car on the right and a mine with a big opening and an open stope a ways in . . In the big room there was a table and 2 chairs, a breakfast cereal bowl recently used, half a bottle of wine and some canned food.
We skedaddled on our way to Skidoo after that !

I talked my way out of there or I never stopped to chit chat with anyone.....I just drove on. I only encountered 2 women total on my travels and they were with other men out there. Regardless, to find anyone living out in the desert is quite surreal.

I think this video is very interesting, I was reading the writing on the rocks. I thought maybe it said “here” just scratched up real bad. Also the rocks that had cracks are odd and that “air flow” you showed at the end may be something.
If you notice in the cave you can see where the rock and the cement separates someone put cement there to block off it off you can also see how dirt was thrown all over it to make it look natural
They probably did that right after kenny went back the 2nd time

@@Andrei_Antonov i dunno, and it’s sad to say that most likely nobody will ever know. But my speculations are that either his body is just out in the middle of the desert, in a hidden area, and just not found yet.
I remember when he originally went missing and some news sources said it was the mine he went missing in not the cave which is very bizarre. I believe the cave is where one of the snipers was posted up and the wood is from a crate that had supplies for the sniper and probably a chair which the dowel is more than likely from. The stones being partially stacked in front further suggests a sniper as it provides natural cover to hide behind and as for the "hatch" no clue if that's what it says but more than likely if there is it would be hidden in or under an artificial rock or mound of dirt.
My theory is that Kenny felt electromagnetic current from inside the cave being the reason he was feeling dreadful and when he left the rocks have probably fell blocking the cave's entrance and when Kenny was looking for it again he couldn't find it and got lost trapped within the perimeters of Area 51
also about the sign the sign was probably hand put in there to prevent people from coming in but since the rocks fell it knocked over the sign, for the wood and the nail in the rock I have no idea, but for the airflow it seems like the rocks you defined as " Suspicious " were hollow and the flow of air passes through what evers inside it. That's my theory.

haha i probably would have too. Im pretty sure it was a fake sign though because the military never refers to the base as area 51. Usually groom lake or nellis air force range. I feel like they wouldnt put up a sign referring to it as area 51 in front of a cave. I could be totally wrong though
when you first sat down and can see your boots there are a load of rat droppings collected into a small area. a rat, being a prey animal would not nest in such a shallow cave, deeper into a mineshaft yes, but not somewhere that dead ends like that. suggests to me that weak concrete / plaster at the back has been put there recently and a collection of brought from elsewhere items left behind to make it appear like it is natural and long since anyone was there. may i suggest a hand drill, microphone and small rock hammer if you go to stay there overnight you can record audio and test if it is hollow. if you gather any interesting data i will travel to nevada and dig the bastard out. they can't kill me ha

I agree. It looks a lot like concrete formed to have a look like old stones. You should hammer it with a small hammer to hear the difference to stone walls. There will be a clear different noise to it.
