2001 Acropolis Rally

Our next upload sees WRC 2001 hit the halfway point of the season for Round 7 of the Acropolis Rally in Greece. After back 2 back 1-2s in Argentina and Cyprus Colin McRae and Richard Burns went into this event as favourites but could Burns turn the tables on McRae. Meanwhile could Tommi Makinen bounce back from crashing out in Cyprus last time out and could Marcus Gronholm kick start his season and title defence after another mechanical retirement last time out. Also the Acropolis saw the return of Citroen for first time since Round 4 of the season in Catalunya which they dominated for the majority of it. But with the Xsara proven to be mighty on asphalt how would it fare on the rough stuff with Philippe Bugalski back for his second event of the year and Thomas Radstrom who was second in Sweden.
