With the teamsters it wasn't just threatening to strike. Anything they say have other implicit threats just baked in due to their reputation.
@@FakeSchrodingersCat I haven't worked with them, but I believe it depends on how they say it. If I remember correctly, it's the only strike in recent history with zero strike busting activities. But the union chose a legal strike, not illegal pressure. In addition to no strike busting, I wouldn't recommend business retaliation against a leader.

I just searched for AG1 in the search bar on the channel page and the oldest video that came up was "Havana Syndrome, Weed Candy, And More Spooky Stories To Not Be Afraid Of " on October 26th 2021 so 785 days. That very well could not be the first one though, I didn't try very hard.

I only watch or listen to their shows or podcast when it’s Either one or the other or the two of them. Any time they add someone else it drags out into a long mess that I usually click away from
I love it when Katy gets scripts that go beyond being mean to Cody. She's a great host in her own right and it sometimes feels like that character doesn't do her justice, so episodes like these are great to watch.

AI can be used for good: there's a robot who can look at cells & determine what's cancer and what's not, into the Spiderverse used a type of AI the animators had created to ensure that the character's proportions were consistent.
The issue comes in when you try to replace a person with a software that doesn't know you exist and has been trained on stolen work and will just make things up.
Hell, even with the current AIs and their... controversial training methods, there's a lot of good work being done! Presidents Play Magic the Gathering is a really fun series, and Trent Troop and aicurio/reachartwork are doing some great stuff by combining it with other skillets! No substitute for craft I say!

it can be sure - the question is will it? Recent history says , probably not. Israel's currently using AI in Gaza, and last I checked that wasn't going so hot for anyone. and I'm technically a programmer so this is all very dejecting for me to cometo terms with.

Every eighty-ish episodes, SMN does some mildly good news involving incremental progress to contrast with all the other episodes that are just unending horror.
Like in any good dystopia, you need that little scoop of hope every now and then or you grow too numb to be invested in the suffering.
But if I got a ubi check I may buy unneeded luxuries like ... Better quality food or clothes that don't have holes in them or paying for maintenance on my car and home!

We can have clean energy on a massive scale right now. The problem of energy transition is that some of the new renewables are so cheap that they aren't profitable enough for the capitalist class. @@spongeintheshoe short and oversimplified, when you're training an AI, you define goals you want the AI to achieve. Basically you make it a game, rewarding good outcomes with points and punishing bad outcomes by taking away points. You then tell the AI to maximize points. Basic math will make it seek rewards and avoid punishments most of the time.

As far as I know this is unrelated to the post-op lung cancer pill, but I served a group of researchers just last week who were celebrating a breakthrough on a medication that’s intended for treating lung cancer!
