I’ve been waiting for this update. This is how I envisioned this unit would have originally functioned. Thrilled the MIDI implementation was the focus of the most recent update.
Really like your channel. Complete MIDI beginner here, I'd love to see a tutorial showing how to interface the Polyend Play with Logic Pro on my Mac; Alas, I don't even know where to start.
great tutorial. have you tried using a USB midi controller ? i have rk006 routing midi via DIN and USB but haven't been successful to make it all work. thanks!
I saw there was an online tool to convert the patterns into midi files and then load the midi files into a DAW. Or has this feature been added in an update?
hello, i am still a little confused on how to set up the polyend play with my roland s-1 & keystep 37. how do I get the connect started? I am quite new to all this, i would appreciate your help!
Hi Daniel, I haven't played with the Roland s-1 but am guessing it has a midi port. In the video I show the midi to 3.5mm adapter to get midi connected to the play. For the keystep 37 follow the video from 1:01 and I show how to connect it to the Play. Make sure that you go midi out from the keystep to midi in on the Polyend Play. Hope you have fun.
if ive got this correct. selecting multiple tracks would enable you to record the arps or strum effect of the keystep? (1 pattern line per the note used within the arp or strum) ?

Does the polyend play also receive midi controls? So let’s say I want to control a knob on the play with another controller….is that possible?
