One Boss A Day || Day 336 "Elden Ring DLC - Dryleaf Dane Invasion"

One boss a day sees how strong martial arts really are in the lands between.
The dinner (? it was like a meal at 3) with goth girl, her boyfriend, and guy friend was pretty fun. It had been a while since I had been to that restaurant, so I gave them wrong directions like 5 times? Eventually we got there though and we ate. Honestly I was bitching about the heat (it was sooooo hot and I was wearing a tank top, a black long sleeve shirt, and a jacket for some god forsaken reason) the entire time, but they let me so we becoming closer friends. I forgot, but they asked me if I wanted to put my jacket into the trunk? I found that extremely strange, is that really something that people do (first time I'd seen/heard of it)? Why? It just doesn't make any sense. I can literally just take my jacket off and put it on the car seat. They tipped, so to become a better person I did too even though I never tip and really despise the concept (it's so flawed, I lose by tipping and lose socially by not). US tipping rates are also just so unbelievably stupid. A 10% is already so high, why tf would the minimum be 18% at some places (this place)?
There has been another incident of ghosting/unmatching practically instantly, but this one I'm way more proud of and it gave me data to go off of for my next match (feels like I'm learning how to be human and text with someone I'm interested in which is wild to me, but I guess that's been the theme of my adult life; learning how to be human). I made some jabs at her and some jokes. Reception kinda low, but I was going in and making the plays so I'm happy about that. Off the top, I see she's far away (like really far away, like a 2 hour drive away, which is basically long distance at that point because I am a college student and can't afford to make that drive financially and timewise), but it also says she goes to my same university so I immediately ask her "yo I'm not trying to waste your time, are you closer then it says?" (Basically verbatim of that, but longer). She says no, she really is that far away and is only taking online classes occasionally because she doesn't know what she wants to do yet. I got no problem with that since I really just need more practice talking/texting with other people (and especially women), so I tell her and ask if she's cool with the distance. She says no problem, so then we do some small talk, I'm still making the moves, whipping out the jokes, but then I got to go to the dinner mentioned at the beginning of today's rant. So I want to continue the momentum (this is all within like 30 minutes tops; instant responses) and ask if she wants to take it off the app and I'll respond once I'm free again. I made that move too soon or something because she immediately unmatches me.
Regardless everything about that interaction was a positive because
1. if she can't communicate that she simply isn't comfortable moving whether to text or another social media app yet, then that ain't someone I want to date anyway
2. despite the distance, I still got some form of "practice" out of it
3. she wasn't really catching onto my jokes anyway, but I made them and I was genuinely me the entire conversation.
4. I got an actual takeaway from it (don't ask to move off the app too soon; I asked like after a single topic which is probably why she unmatched me? I really couldn't see any other reason)
